When we arrived the room we were assigned to smelled like cigarettes really bad. The person at the front desk was efficient in moving us to another room immediately. That was the only good thing about the hotel. The pool is closed until sometime in May. This was not disclosed at the time of booking, and the pool was one of the reasons we selected this particular hotel. The floors were so dirty that after taking a shower and walking around the room for a bit the bottom of my feet were black. The juices provided at breakfast were extremely watered down. There was no decaf coffee option, which really sucks since I have high blood pressure but still enjoy coffee. The only options for breakfast foods were instant oatmeal and some muffins. And when I say some muffins, I mean they only put out 4 muffins for everyone at the hotel. Breakfast being provided was also one of the main reasons I selected this hotel. While we did eat breakfast from the hotel on our first day, we went to a nearby restaurant to get an actual fresh cooked hot meal on our second day. I honestly should have just stayed at a motel 6 with how abysmal this stay was. At least the Super 8 in Childress, TX was nice enough that after we stayed there on our drive out from Colorado Springs to Nacogdoches we decided to stay there again on our way back. But the Days Inn in Nacogdoches was a joke. I will definitely NOT be staying there again.

The parking lot was super small, limited on spaces, seemed like just enough for the number of rooms. The parking lot lights were super bright & even crept in through the closed curtains. It was a built in night light in the room. Sign in front of hotel & when booking the hotel said free continental breakfast and all it was 1 type of muffins, apple & orange juice, & coffee, I was expecting more of a variety.

The check in was good I asked if the pool was open and the answer was "I can unlock it for you."??? We were not given the hours for breakfast. The room was large and clean but was dated and didn't have enough outlets near the beds and the remote was taped together but needed new tape. The AC worked great and was quiet. In the morning a Thursday, breakfast wasn't until 7 and was a very basic cold breakfast that should be disclosed on the website.

This was a lesson in how lots of little things add up to a poor experience that will keep me from coming back. The hotel’s palm tree completely obstructs the Days Inn sign from the west, so I missed my turn twice. It was extremely inconvenient to be upstairs, and I felt like I had no choice without paying more or going with a much smaller bed, & I really don’t think the man cared. I’m a healthy senior citizen, but can’t comfortably carry a 25-lb suitcase and cooler up 2 flights of stairs. It was noisy, with smokers in the walkway by my room. No tissue box. The coffee creamer wasn’t replaced, so I did without my coffee. No mention of start time for breakfast at checkin, and no mention of it in the room. The “text if you have a question” got no response. The “free breakfast” consisted of some store-bought muffins and granola bars like you’d find at a 7-11 store. For the small difference in price, I’d much rather pay a bit more for Best Western and get lots more for my money.

Friendly staff and thankfully clean room, BUT there was an "odd spice" smell throughout the whole lobby. Front desk was messy. :( The worst part was that the walls are so thin I was awakened several times thinking someone had walked into my room or was stepping out of my bathroom. You could hear the people in the room next door talking, showering and going to the bathroom through the late night and early morning hours.

Arrived at 9pm, although my room was very nice, the air was off and the room was very hot and took a while to cool down. Disappointing when I just wanted to go to sleep. As a woman traveling alone the parking area felt very unsafe. I was out at the end of a row with poor lighting my and at least half a dozen random men loitering, sitting in staircases and on curbs, smoking ect. I felt very uncomfortable walking up to my room. I have a daughter in college in this town and will pick another hotel next time we come to visit.

The rooms looked clean but smelled horrible. Like a 30 year old bar. I had already checked in but left so I could not get a refund. If you are a smoker that might be acceptable but for me and my family I had to spend another 200.00 for another room someplace else.

I was there for one night during SFA orientation. It was a great price, so i wasnt expecting much. It is an older hotel so the furniture wasnt in the best condition and half the bulbs were out in the lamps, but the room was clean and the bed and pillows were great. I wiould stay again for the location, it was walking distance to SFA.

It was just okay. Old coffee pod in the coffee maker, no lock on the bathroom door, shower head was coming apart. AC was loud, so loud, in fact, that we thought it was actually a truck outside. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel is clean and safely located just down the street from SFA. The only downside is that the curtains don’t block out any light, and the room was bright all night long.

Check in was great fast and very friendly. Rooms were very clean set up nicely. Plenty of towls and coffee for the morning. The bed was extremely comfortable a solid bed with no lumps or drooping and the best pillows EVER, i was so yempted to snag one. These were the perfect firmness where you did not need to keep folding them and the extra bit of comfort was the folded blanket on end of the bed especially on that cold night. Heat works great but with that extra blanket the heat could stay a little lower and not have that stuffy heat. Ive already reserved 2 rooms for next week for my family for Father's Military Funeral. Check in was great fast and very friendly. Rooms were very clean set up nicely. Plenty of towls and coffee for the morning. The bed was extremely comfortable a solid bed with no lumps or drooping and the best pillows EVER, i was so yempted to snag one. These were the perfect firmness where you did not need to keep folding them and the extra bit of comfort was the folded blanket on end of the bed especially on that cold night. Heat works great but with that extra blanket the heat could stay a little lower and not have that stuffy heat. Ive already reserved 2 rooms for next week for my family for Father's Military Funeral. Hope for the same room.

Hotel itself was fine. Extra great customer service. Thankfully they were able to help me when hotels.com could not. Because I booked through hotels.com and opted to pay at the hotel, hotels.com was not able to help me change my reservation. Days inn was not able to help because I booked through hotels.com. Service/help (or lack there of) from hotels.com was a joke.

Excellent Host @ the Front Desk... She helped me a lot. I had been given a couple of Gift Cards for a wedding gift that I couldn't get to work, but she was able to assist me with my issue. The Room/Hotel/Grounds were very Clean !!! Just A Friendly Clean Atmosphere !!!!!!!!! Thank You Days Inn NAC..

I was there for one night during SFA orientation. It was a great price, so i wasnt expecting much. It is an older hotel so the furniture wasnt in the best condition and half the bulbs were out in the lamps, but the room was clean and the bed and pillows were great. I wiould stay again for the location, it was walking distance to SFA.

The hotel is clean and safely located just down the street from SFA. The only downside is that the curtains don’t block out any light, and the room was bright all night long.

Arrived at 9pm, although my room was very nice, the air was off and the room was very hot and took a while to cool down. Disappointing when I just wanted to go to sleep. As a woman traveling alone the parking area felt very unsafe. I was out at the end of a row with poor lighting my and at least half a dozen random men loitering, sitting in staircases and on curbs, smoking ect. I felt very uncomfortable walking up to my room. I have a daughter in college in this town and will pick another hotel next time we come to visit.

The parking lot was super small, limited on spaces, seemed like just enough for the number of rooms. The parking lot lights were super bright & even crept in through the closed curtains. It was a built in night light in the room. Sign in front of hotel & when booking the hotel said free continental breakfast and all it was 1 type of muffins, apple & orange juice, & coffee, I was expecting more of a variety.

The check in was good I asked if the pool was open and the answer was "I can unlock it for you."??? We were not given the hours for breakfast. The room was large and clean but was dated and didn't have enough outlets near the beds and the remote was taped together but needed new tape. The AC worked great and was quiet. In the morning a Thursday, breakfast wasn't until 7 and was a very basic cold breakfast that should be disclosed on the website.

This was a lesson in how lots of little things add up to a poor experience that will keep me from coming back. The hotel’s palm tree completely obstructs the Days Inn sign from the west, so I missed my turn twice. It was extremely inconvenient to be upstairs, and I felt like I had no choice without paying more or going with a much smaller bed, & I really don’t think the man cared. I’m a healthy senior citizen, but can’t comfortably carry a 25-lb suitcase and cooler up 2 flights of stairs. It was noisy, with smokers in the walkway by my room. No tissue box. The coffee creamer wasn’t replaced, so I did without my coffee. No mention of start time for breakfast at checkin, and no mention of it in the room. The “text if you have a question” got no response. The “free breakfast” consisted of some store-bought muffins and granola bars like you’d find at a 7-11 store. For the small difference in price, I’d much rather pay a bit more for Best Western and get lots more for my money.

There were only 8 small muffins and a few packages of instant oatmeal available. good location for easy access to dining and the University, but the motel is quite run down. roaches, peeling paint, broken fixtures in the room... and the lighting in the parking lot is excessive...to the point that inside the room is bright all night long making it very difficult to sleep. pricing is appropriate.
