The hotel was pretty nice , rooms were clean and big. Big enough for family with 2 small kids. The bed was comfortable but the pull out sofa was very uncomfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were good, whirlpool was a nice plus in the bathroom. Water park was clean, even during spring break it was not super crowded. The water temp was comfortable but the chlorine smell was very strong. Kids really enjoyed the water park. Restaurants and food choices were very disappointing, the wait for breakfast was super long and the food was not good at all. Wish the hotel would have more activities for kids, even though they had some they were just very poor quality. Hotel is 8min from lake Geneva downtown and the surrounding is very nice.

We have been going to Timber Ridge for years. This years visit was so disappointing. Check in took forever with only one person and lines of people. Water park was extremely overcrowded. Tables are left dirty and filled with wet towels. It's impossible to know if someone is sitting at the table or just left all their garbage. With new water park renovations we expected it to be amazing. The water was extremely cold and all we were told is that they "were looking into it." You spend all this money and it's so cold your little one is freezing, you can't sit down or even get a clean table. The lazy river is a joke. There is no "lazy" about it. At least half is kids running around in it or swimming in it that you can't float without being run into, tipped over or have to worry about running over a little kid. Life guards are not paying attention and not enforcing any rules that are posted within the water park. In the game room some games will take credits from your card but not give you a chance to play. I had to have this fixed for 4 different games between my children. Ridiculous! Food at The Hungry Moose took forever and when it did come out it was cold. Waitress apologized for how long it took but said there was a large to go order so we had to wait until that was completed. Rooms need a lot of TLC, lots of broken cabinets, dishes and are just not well maintained. I wish I could get out money back for this stay.

Unfortunately the outdoor hot tub was not working properly. It was not warm , so we did not enjoy it like we did our previous 2 visits. This was the main thing we look forward to as adults to relax.

Water park was great! Well managed! Lobby help was incredible. The only reason for the four starts were that the locker rooms were under construction, which added noise and dust, and of course there was no restroom or changing area for the water park.

We had an EXCELLENT stay. We were in a 2-bedroom suite, which was spacious and clean. The decor is outdated, but it was clean and comfy. The bed pillows were hard, and there were no blankets or spreads on the beds—only sheets and a duvet. I missed not having a blanket. In this suite, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cups, and silverware. The bathrooms do have a supply of shampoo/conditioner/ soaps. The showers did take a few minutes to warm up. The staff was AMAZING!!!! they were friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurants were good. They were a little pricey, but nothing was out of the norm for the area or a resort hotel. The waterpark was warm, CLEAN, and fully staffed with lifeguards. These lifeguards walked the entire pool deck at all times. They had plenty of tables & chairs, to put down your stuff. The pool towels were clean, warm, and large. they also have cabanas you can rent for a reasonable price. Check in and Check out was a breeze. The reasons I am not giving this place 5 star, is the outdated Decor, it didn't bother me, but it will both some. Those hard pillows and not having a blankets on the beds.

Great water park, water is warmer which we enjoyed. My toddler loves water and had a blast. Water park is clean lots of lifeguards. The 2 bedroom suite we got was ok. We noticed at night that the top room was hot and unable to cool it with the lower room AC. The ceiling fan didn’t do much to help cool it. Mentioned it to the team there they were going to bring a box fan but never did. The next night it was cooler out so we were able to rest. Housekeeping didn’t pick up the trash nor changed our towels out 2 nights we spent there.

We've stayed here multiple times over the years. Really glad to see how they are keeping up the property. However, very disappointing that they closed everything earlier then advertised hours on a Saturday night. Waterpark and gift shop with ice cream closed before 9pm

Our stay at Timber Ridge was great. The rooms and water park are clean and well maintained. A lot less crowded than taking a trip to the dells. Definitely will be coming back.

The hotel lobby was inviting and the staff was pleasant. We needed an elevator to get to our room. This was an old, dirty elevator. It hesitated to open at times and made horrible grinding noises when in use. Initially impressed with our room,1st bedroom was clean & spacious and the second was cozy. after unpacking, we had a chance to look around. We found candy wrappers on the counter and around the room. There were finger prints on the fireplace and the windows were filthy. None of the mirrors had been wiped down. The coffee pot was filthy internally. There were streaks on the walls as if there was some sort of leak at one point and there appeared to be a lot of poorly executed DIY repairs done on just about everything in the room. The kids 13&10, were able to swim for an hour while we made dinner plans. We later took advantage of the arcade and witnessed several machines having errors and taking $. Day 2 at the pool, kids went ahead of us and weren’t allowed in without adults. I respect this rule, but had to question why they were allowed in alone the day before. The lazy river was slimy in spots as was deck around the pool. Shortly after arrival they closed the lazy river due to feces for over an hour to clean. Just before reopening, they closed the pool for the same reason. We swam 1.5 hrs in 2 days. poolside food overpriced, overcooked and cold. given their prices the maintenance in the facility could be a lot better and cleaner. Ok place but not for the price!

As always, we had a fantastic time! I love how the rooms have a kitchen, we were able to make breakfast every morning. On site dining is delicious, the waterpark is spotless. The bathrooms at the waterpark are spotless. And they stay spotless all day, Timber Ridge is really on top of keeping up with cleanliness, which I appreciate!

For the price of the room, you would expect it to be more updated in cleaner. It seems like everything was thrown together cheaply Jacuzzi tub was nasty. Paint on the ceiling was coming off mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom. Dishwasher was nasty door on microwave falling off not impressed. Waterpark was nice, but that was about it should’ve bought day passes and stayed at another hotel.

It was a great time with my 1.5 yr. old. The Waterpark was small but perfect for what we needed. The room set up was great, but everything was pretty old, carpets were stained and bathroom was in need of a deep clean. Everything by was very loud, we could hear the screams of the water slides from our room. Check in and communication was great evasive from the room not being ready when we arrived, but we changed in the lobby bathrooms and went to the waterpark while we waited, which wasn’t very long. Overall I think the weekend stay was great, but just know the rooms are older and need some updates.

There was hair on the toilet, black scum on the shower curtains and tub jets, mold in the caulking in the bathroom, rust all over the shower faucets and kitchen sink. The kitchen smelled, and there was food splattered in the walls. The worst part was we paid over $400 for a 2 bedroom suite, but we couldn’t even sleep in the upstairs bedroom that was lofted. It was easily over 80 degrees up there even though the thermostat was set to 68 downstairs. The outdoor sections of the water park were closed on the second day, and that was the best part. On the inside, there’s no pool that’s good for little kids to swim in with zero entry—just the splash pad area, so that was disappointing.

The room did not have a tub. Was given an accessible room when not needed. The refrigerator was dented and looked like it had been recovered from the junk yard. Beds were uncomfortable. Waterpark was great however. Like the update.

Rooms are not updated and have a bad musty smell. Hallways are the same and are also in need of updates. The waterpark was nice, good for smaller children. Onsite restaurant had good breakfast for adults and kids but it’s very small.

Overall my family had a great time. Many hours in the waterpark, outdoor pool, slides, arcade, Sunday flow golf, fireworks and a visit to their onsite restaurant and Timber ridge. The only thing that could have been better would be a less noisy way to get air conditioning up to upstairs bedroom and beds were really hard and gave my husband a really stiff back. Overall we love timber ridge and the kids always have such a great time!!!

My family has been going here for the last 15 years. It’s the only indoor waterpark I like. It’s small and manageable. One lap around and you can find your kids in the lazy river or coming down one of the 2 slides. The rooms are dated but nice enough and the amount of space is amazing. The complimentary trolley comes often and will take you to/from the Grand Geneva or the Mountain Top. You don’t even need to leave the resort. I love that we can charge everything to our room anywhere on the property. No need to carry your wallet 😊 This is a very great family resort

The rooms on this property are old, worn down and the beds are awful! I ended up taking the pull out bed mattress and putting it on my bed it was so bad. The room is very outdated and ran down. It smells like stale cigarettes. My fridge didn’t get cold. I was definitely disappointed!

Pros: they are renovating, new carpet, upgrading bathrooms and appliances etc. Now using texting for you to message issues/needs, and this is like having a concierge in your pocket. They are VERY responsive and helpful (e.g., needed a blanket for the pullout sofa,, and it was there within 5 min!). Very family friendly and you have access to the Grand Geneva except the pools which is super nice to have. Even during peak times there was little to no wait on slides. Rooms were very clean and sheets were crisp and made you feel like you were in a high end hotel. Cons: the property is older and the bathroom tiles are moldy and in need of repair. Shower heads are minimal pressure/older. Seem to be having plumbing issues as our first room toilet backed up and the second room’s toilet made weird noises all night; lots of leaking on first floor hallway ceiling tiles that is pretty gross. However it seems like a work in progress as there were painters etc working a lot on making it better. Customer service in the waterpark cafe was super slow (15-20 min for a sandwich when we were the only order); waterpark pools and lazy river need resurfacing. Overall I would go again. They are in the midst of renovating and super nice!

rooms are very clean. the only negative in this place is the check in. you have to stand in line for about 10 to 20 minutes to check in and wait for about 1 hour for your room to be available after check in, the when you room is available you have to stand in line again for 10 to 20 minutes to get your keys. the lobby counter is small and only has 2 worker.

Check in took over an hour because we had to wait for a room and then I think they forgot to tell us the room was ready. Desk staff was very apologetic. Overall we had a lovely time and will be back!

We arrived and our room was not ready until 5:00 even though check in was at 4:00pm. When we arrived in our room, it smelled so bad. We then headed back to the front desk. Luckily they were able to get us a different room.

The people above us allowed their children to jump for 2.5 hours . Our room was shaking from them jumping it sounded like the ceiling was going to break . The security guard told us to leave and grab a coffee instead of asking them to stop jumping repeatedly for 2.5 hours .

Was good until the check out bill didnt match what they took from my account. Was hard to match up since they kept taking money out for ecery little thing. Looks to have paid over 300 more for 2 rooms for 2 nights then i agreed to. Also they have a resort they dont tell you about down the road with baskrtball, sauns, massages, etc. Was horrible communication and even worse customer service after we left. They didnt give a crap after they billed me. Said its already done.

We chose Timber Ridge for its proximity to Alpine Valley Music Theater and it was mission accomplished. This is a great place for families with young kids. Everyone was having a blast.

Awesome trip. Downtown lake geneva is close and there are other activities to do outside Timberridgr waterpark. But the waterpark itself has a lot of things to do already especially for those who have kids. I liked how our hotel room is like a mini house, its got kitchen with aplliances (plates, cups, utensils etc) and dining table. We were on the first floor so we really enjoyed out outdoor patio that is very close to the outdoor pool. We are definitely coming back.

Rooms are not updated and have a bad musty smell. Hallways are the same and are also in need of updates. The waterpark was nice, good for smaller children. Onsite restaurant had good breakfast for adults and kids but it’s very small.

The hotel was pretty nice , rooms were clean and big. Big enough for family with 2 small kids. The bed was comfortable but the pull out sofa was very uncomfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were good, whirlpool was a nice plus in the bathroom. Water park was clean, even during spring break it was not super crowded. The water temp was comfortable but the chlorine smell was very strong. Kids really enjoyed the water park. Restaurants and food choices were very disappointing, the wait for breakfast was super long and the food was not good at all. Wish the hotel would have more activities for kids, even though they had some they were just very poor quality. Hotel is 8min from lake Geneva downtown and the surrounding is very nice.

The restaurant was very under staffed & not trained to take care of guests properly. We waited over1 1/2 hours! For breakfast & 2 out of 9 of us never got our food until everyone else left ! This impacted our waters park time and check out (which they did extend one he of check out, but we never got to enjoy the time we planned to spend with our family having fun. Also, they did comp us….when we complained. I believe your restaurants should open before 9 am, if you want to make money & serve the families who are up at 7 in the am. Or need to leave by check out!!!

Wish that the person who checked me in gave me information about the hotel. She basically gave me the keycard. And told me where the elevator was. Nothing else. No info about what was on the site. Not even the hours for the water park Found out later that I could have went to the grand cayman and use the amenities there but nope. The hotel was excellent. So very clean. For that part I really thank you but the reception check in not so much.
