The room was nice and clean. The Lakeview option was the best part. The staff was super friendly and helpful. But for the price, the room should have more luxury options. You are basically paying for the view. There was no microwave in the room.The restaurant opened the day after we arrived. The food was ok, but nothing special. They have two parking lots so plenty of parking. The boathouse bar and grill is in walking distance and has great food.

1. Positives included great scenery, privacy and cleanliness. 2. On premise restaurant was under construction and closed. Was told it will open sometime in May. A lot of construction noise at and around the neighboring properties with construction starting early during our stay. It was hard to enjoy the views from the balcony in the morning. Overall stay was rated a “B”.

It was wonderful, very clean and had a fitness room. It may need a pool or hot tub but at least the view to the lake compensated for that! Overall we had a great time there.

A revisit to a very nice boutique hotel. Room was very nice since remodel and view is excellent. Dining onsite was excellent. Skip the coffee kiosk as not great coffee, convenience store type muffins and no decaf available. Both coffees went down the drain and went to McDonalds for coffee.

The inn was very pretty and we had a nice, quiet weekend staying there. Seemed like a pretty steep price, given we didnt have a lake view room though. For a location on the lake, I assumed there would be a general patio area on property to sit outside and enjoy the view while drinking morning coffee or something. The desk associate said the only lakefront patio available was for the restaurant, which wasnt open until later. We returned to our room to drink coffee on the dirty balcony overlooking the parking lot. What is the point of staying at an inn on the lake if there is no way to enjoy the view from the property??? This was pretty disappointing considering the amount of money we paid to stay there. Next time we're in the area, I'll book somewhere less expensive and just drive to the lake.

The hotel looks great, I love the view, just tinny things on maintenance, like wallpaper was a little loose in some places on hallways. I was expecting to have food in the hotel, but restaurant was closed and it is something that I didn’t know beforehand.

There was no swimming pool, no treadmill in the exercise room, no microwave in the room or anywhere else in the hotel for a guest to heat anything up. When I asked about the lack of exercise equipment the front desk staff was rude. She told me to go outside and take a walk that there was a path. I stated that it was cold. She said I should not have come in November. I would not recommend this place to anyone because of these things. The view of the lake was very nice.

Nasty pubic hair in the bathtub. The AC was off. Only one chair for a couple. I paid expensive for the lake view and there was no seats or chairs in the balcony. Coffee maker dirty!

After a 2000 mile journey, my husband and I decided to make one final stop before heading home. We managed to snag a last-minute deal on a king-size lake view room with a soaking tub. The complimentary glass of champagne at check-in was a delightful touch. Our room was stunning—immaculately clean, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The balcony offered an amazing view. We appreciated that the hotel was just off the main drag, so we weren't disturbed by town traffic, yet it was easy to access downtown where we enjoyed exploring the restaurants, shops, and walking by the lake. We will definitely return, especially once their new restaurant opens.

Pros: beautiful view of the lake, room was a nice size Cons: the pillows were clumpy. Would expect nice down pillows for the price of this hotel, found a nail clipping on the bathroom counter after checking in, cigarette smoke came through the air vent both nights of our stay (we couldn’t open the balcony door as it smelled out there as well), checking out there was a TON of dirt and dust piled up on our brand new car in all the crevices that we now need to get our call detailed as it even got inside the car a bit due to them using leaf blowers inches away from our car and blowing debris directly into it ( they had our license plate so could have easily asked us to move our car)

Room was nice except no mattee what we did for hvac temperature it never got colder or warmer. The balcony would have great potential if it was cleaned. It was filthy and we didnt want to sit in the chair as they were covered in dirt. It really needs some cleaning!

Appreciated how quiet the hotel was. We did not hear anyone on either side of us and sensed that the other guests were there to quietly relax, too. Our room was beautiful. The decorator that designed the rooms did an excellent job! Towels were thick and the bathroom sparkling clean! Disappointed there was not complimentary water in the room, and no complimentary coffee in the lobby.

A short drive from downtown Lake Geneva, parking was easy and service was prompt. The only drawbacks were limited breakfast on site and disappointing WiFi (free, but not fast enough for a video conference call). Minibar was actually priced reasonably!

Very good place to stay in Lake Geneva! We had a room with an amazing lake view - very enjoyable. One negative thing - very loud air conditioner. If not that, I would l say it is an excellent place to stay.

Our room was large and comfortable but did not have a end table, coffee table or desk. Where are we supposed put our reading material or use a lap top? It also lacked a reading lamp. If we are to enjoy our room and view the, where was the furniture for a comfortable stay?

The view to the lake was great. But the room was lacking in a lot of things. The remote control wasn’t the original for the tv so simple things like turning up the volume or changing the channel was an inconvenience. The bathroom door did not latch. The main door didn’t have the second lock. The showers were great. The beds were comfortable

Great location and view. Only two things preventing me to give 5 stars. 1. We found the thermostat impossible to figure out. It was not intuitive at all. The display was cracked, indicating that others must have been frustrated, too. 2. With a nice large balcony and lake view, why on earth would you not have chairs and a table on the balcony to enjoy it. Very strange.

The hotel and rooms have undergone a revamp and it's fresh -however - the noise from the forced air system was a problem and kept us awake at night. They need to do something about it!

Excellent! It was a great stay. Champagne upon arrival was a nice (and unexpected) touch. Staff was extremely courteous, welcoming and helpful. Our room was impeccable. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a get-away in Lake Geneva.

Beautiful property and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the cleaning crew, especially Ashley was extremely accommodating. However, I was shocked at the lack of staff friendliness throughout the experience. The staff do not greet people and are not friendly which shocked me. I am a world traveler and every hotel and airline makes the customer feel welcome and appreciative for being a customer. The Geneva Inn does not extend this curtesy naturally- will help customers when asked, but do not extend courtesy as a cultural norm.

Hotel room was amazing and it looks just as the photos on here show! Very clean. FYI The tub has no jets. The TV is weird and you cannot scroll channels have to manual enter each channel. Front desk was helpful in trying to fix the TV but this was the only way it would work at all. Only disappointment was restaurant has wonderful ambience but the food was only okay. For $$$$ I expect better food. The service was horrible. I literally served myself.

We were very disappointed that breakfast is no longer available. The restaurant area is locked so we were not even able to sit in there to enjoy the view. There was a coffee bar but everything was for a fee. At the very least they should have self serve coffee. Also the lighting in the room was very poor. It’s unfortunate because otherwise the room and property was very nice.

The Lake views were beautiful! We had a lovely room, comfortable bed and everything was clean. We enjoyed the Grandview restaurant, but there were no good breakfast options in March when we were there. Very friendly and helpful staff!
