I was on the first floor by the exit door that slammed all night long. The blow dryer didn’t work. The shower water was barely warm. I was disappointed the out door pool water was freezing cold and you had to walk across the parking lot to get over to the pool. It was not convenient. There was a lot of construction materials and rail car co tainer lined along the entrance so you were not sure if you had to go between them to to get to the entrance of the hotel.

The motel staff was excellent. Check in was flawless and the property was clean. The pool has no water. The breakfast was good. The vibe of the hotel was just off. Doors down the hall way were ajar like something was not right. People were working on motors in the parking lot.

Definitely an older hotel that has been refurbished not long ago. 🤔 .. don\'t know that it is quite up to "Clarion standards" that, I remember from the past but, overall ... a nice room to stay several days in. Very quiet for beung right next to the interstate. Flooring creaked a fair amount as you walk down the hallways. Carpet in the hallways, was in good shape but, could use a good cleaning. Everything in the room was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area looked nice and appeared in new/recently built condition. Lobby/Check-in desk area was nice. Elevator was in good condition and very smooth in operation. There was a fair amount of parking on front and back of the hotel building. The construction that is in-progress on the building right next to it, really limited the access in and out of the parking lots. Plenty of dining choices nearby and easy access to I-77/WV Turnpike. I had a good stay there and will consider it for future travels.

Place isn’t great but isn’t terrible. Literally average is the best description. Staff were very friendly but there were some minor inconveniences. Our door wouldn’t open with the keycard so I had to walk all the way back to the front desk with the kids in tow to get it fixed. Ice machine didn’t work so we had to use the one on the 2nd floor which was rusted out and barely spit out ice. The room itself was better than expected with some little amenities (charging ports, desk lamp, decently size mini fridge) but wasn’t the cleanest. Spotted one dirty hand towel and the curtains were a bit worn out. On the plus size the bed was comfy and I slept like a baby. Would recommend if on a tight budget or booking something last minute otherwise maybe check out a couple different options literally down the street

I really enjoyed the employees at this location however I don’t think folks should be staying at this location. Room smelled like mildew. The floor of the room felt moist. The pool was okay but the container listed towels didn’t have any inside it. I had to leave the fitness room because the smell was so intense that I was getting a headache so I went out for a walk instead of finishing my workout. Ice machines were all broke. I paid $110.00 for the room which I think is way too much for this spot. Should be $40.00 a night so then I would have known to avoid it. I feel bad for the employees because I can’t be the only person to feel this way.

My room was clean, comfortable and relatively quiet. Only had coffee in the morning but the waffles looked good. Staff was knowledgeable and easy going. Took a dip in the outdoor pool, was cold but clean.

The hotel has ‘put lipstick on a pig’ rather than take the old and degraded lighting, flooring and ceilings. The whole building is dark and gloomy. The rooms and hallways are disgustingly dirty.

There were ants in all 3 rooms that we checked into. Two of them had ants underneath the pillows on the bed! There was visible black mold on the bathroom ceiling and water dripping on your back when you used the toilet. Absolutely disgusting.

The shower walls were detaching from the walls and there was mold in between. There was used soap by the sink and hair in the sink. I complained and was offered another room. That room had mold on bathroom ceiling. The floors in hallways were dirty and sticky. I can provide pictures.

Whole hotel smells like smoke, first room we got told was ready to go was absolutely disgusting beds not made, trash in bathroom, buckets and tools in bathroom, got a second room to see pubic hair all over the bathroom and room absolutely just stunk. We left after that

One of the worst stay I have had in a longer time. 1st room the air conditioning didn’t work . They moved us to another room and someone left a surprise in the toilet. Then when we tried to go to sleep the room did not have blackout curtains and this hotel was next to the WV turnpike so the lights from the turnpike and the flood lights from the parking lot lit up the room so it made it difficult to sleep. When I told the front desk person in the morning she said that she has been telling maintenance for a week about the blackout curtains.

The check in man was awesome. He was very friendly every time we walked past him in the morning. The breakfast was just waffles and cereal but that was fine for a free breakfast. The room smelled like an old mans cologne. The bathroom was a bit dirty. There was a few stray hairs in the tub. There was rust around the drain and the toilet seat needs to be replaced. It looked like it was old. The wifi did not work in the room.

The room is clean, staff friendly . But we’re on first floor can hear second floor’s activities clearly, their foot steps and so on. At night, it’s quite a little trouble. The breakfast options are very few and not so tasty. Overall, the stay is worth price paid.

Run down hotel. Rusty fixtures in the bathroom. They are building a new hotel next to it so they have construction containers everywhere. Missed the entrance to the hotel the first time had to drive around the area to find it! I think they are going to tear down the old building once the new one is complete only makes since. Glade we only stayed one night.

The room was clean. No complaints there. Kind of a weird smell, but seemed to just be the building's age. The lighting in the room was poor. Even with all lights on the room was dim. Breakfast was poor. Very poor. We ended up going to a restaurant.

Waited in line for over 25 min to check in. The one desk person kept answering phone calls, while there were 7 people waiting on line to check in seems to me you take care of the people there and put the phone on hold the person was also rude and all but yelled at the person in front of me. When we got to our room it smelled like rotten wet dog. It was disgusting.

The accommodation was good. The only criticism is that we had to walk down a hall to get to the elevator and the garbage containers were located in the hallway and they smelled really bad. I don't think that customers should have to pass the garbage cans to get to their rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

I liked the convienience of being located right off the highway with quick access off and on. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The room was clean and the continental breakfast was well stocked with cereals, bread, bagels,yogurt ,waffles and fruit. The only thing I would complain about was a few minor details in the room that needed attention. Lamp with no working usb and plug in receptacles. Chair with loose armrest . But all in all it was fine for a one night stay while travelling.

Drain in bathroom sink was broken. Hotel was understaffed at night, but all staff were great and they were able to move our room without problem (after a 20 minute wait in line). The next morning they had maintenance fixing the drain in our old room, so I'm sure it was repaired.

It was good overall. I was given a room that smelled like smoke so I asked for another room. The front desk lady was very helpful and switched it swiftly. The new room was a lot better and smelled smoke free. Although, both rooms said they were smoke free. The place could use an update but the staff was really nice.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. While right off the highway,even though our room faced it, we did not hear it at all. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good. The breakfast bar was very well organized, with everything individually packaged (bagels, muffins, apples, etc). We would definitely stay here again.

Entry to the hotel requires the driver to maneuver through construction containers given the building of an adjoining building. The hotel is basic but the price is reasonable. Breakfast is okay but nothing hot unless you make waffles.

Microwave didn’t work, curtains were torn and old, phone kept ringing all night 13 times in all, shower was good. Tv was intermittent. , Breakfast was minimal. Bed was clean but soft. Expedia shouldn’t have this place as a choice! Very under staffed according to the desk person. We didn’t get our room until 9 pm.
