Yellowstone Inn is going through a major renovation and change of management and ownership. This isn't disclosed when booking the room not is there any mention of it on their website. The place looked closed, but after getting through to the main desk, we were received by a very nice gentleman who explained that there was no elevator and no rooms available on the first floor. He asked if we wanted to check the room first, which we did. The hall was a mess with drywall mud and paint all over the carpet but the room was clean and spacious. It was fine for a quick place to sleep and very inexpensive.

Only thing that made it difficult was the parking lot was extremely tight and small for the hotel size. Also the breakfast was subpar.... Looked like they just steamed everything.... Sausage was nooo good. Pool was great!

Terrible value. Informed at che kin that pool, elevator, tv, gym etc arent working. The place shouldn't be open. Rude check in manager didnt help either.

Watch out.....this place is under renovations. The pictures online are what it used to be a long time ago, when it was a best western. Nothing worked, no tv, no pool, total scam. The lobby reeked like an ash tray as well

The pictures are NOT what you get. They are working on renovating. However...we did not have a fridge, the AC was extremely loud and barely worked. There is no comfort inn sign, it's an old sign for a Yellowstone inn or something. They are very short staffed for cleaning rooms, bathrooms, staffing front desk and breakfast. The bathrooms in the lobby were disgusting...clearly had not been cleaned in days of not a week. Oh and the elevator....talk about a scary ride! $350 for 2 nights was outrageous! We just needed a place to sleep while getting our kiddo to college.

Property was undergoing transition. Room was clean and big. Staff was very responsive to requests. Pool was cold could not enjoy. Advertised a game room none was there. Breakfast 1st day ok. Second day horrible just eggs no sausage or hash browns! Third day breakfast was good. Kitchen staff very attentive kept things restocked and clean.

The front desk staff was very nice, however the hotel needs a new cleaning staff. I can definitely understand that they are under construction, but you can still keep the place clean. The elevator floor and walls looked like they hadn’t been washed in a month. There was coffee spills in the lobby, and the carpet in the hallways were nasty. There was a ball Of hair outside our door. The room was not clean. I had the staff strip the needs and put all new bedding on as one of them had food on it when I pulled the sheets back and the other had big black stains. I realize hotels use towels and sheets over and over again, but when the majority of the towel or pillowcase is completely yellow, it’s time to throw them out. The floor in the room was not washed and barely swept. The toilet was not washed. And neither were any of the countertops. I went to the store and grabbed Clorox wipes and cleaned it all myself. The outside of the hotel was deplorable. Other than a signe that said Yellowstone inn- you couldn’t tell it was a hotel. The parking lot was full of trash, there were no flowers or anything. It looked like we were walking into a dumpy office building. I would have walked out and gone someplace else if it weren’t so late.

After flight was delayed and we needed a place to stay I booked this for $395 for one night and after booking the rent desk called me to tell me they were short staffed and room would not be cleaned. Got in at 1:30am exhausted to wait 45 mins to check in (person was asleep) and then got to room and it had not been cleaned. Dirty towels and hair in bathroom and everything appeared used. We had to sleep on top of the bed because sheets had not been changed. Disgusting and horrible!

Well the hotel room was not clean. It has a dirty tub and floor of bathroom not clean as well. The hotel had a lot of patched up areas in the room. There was fridge or microwave when it should have had one. The air conditioner did not work at all the first room and was moved to a different room. The air conditioner in the second room did not work properly as it was very loud and kept me up, did not sleep well. The staff said they would talk to the manager about giving me some discount for the inconviences and defects of the room. Overall the hotel was just not clean. Things that weren’t functioning properly look like it was just patched up and not completely fixed. I pay good money for the room and expect a quality product and stay, I didn’t not receive that.

The stay was not good, room had not been cleaned when we checked in. All they did was make the beds, and make it look like it was clean. Toilet was filthy, I had to get clean sheets for the bed. I will never stay there again.

Doesn’t feel safe, lots of people around parking lot working on vehicles or stealing them not sure. Come in and hotel is un-kept and dirty. Go to open the door to our room and someone else already staying in it! That was awkward back to front desk for new room. Bathroom handtowel visibly dirty, worse yet my bath towel was dirty after my shower. Bathroom has hair on the floor in corners and tiny bugs in the bathtub. Loud, can hear everyone else walking around and running water. Would not recommend, will not stay here again.

Room was large and comfortable. Staff let us check in a bit early with no hassle. We have stayed in three other local hotels in the past year, and this was by far the best quality for the price. We will be staying here again in the future. Looking forward to seeing the final changes once the renovation is complete.

We were on our way to Yellowstone so this was just a stopover for the night. Totally fine for a one night or short stay. The property was in the final stages of being remodeled. Not really a problem. Our room had been remodeled recently and was nice. You got the impression that they were trying to make it nicer. Decent breakfast came with it.

This property is currently under renovation. The first room we were assigned the sink drain was not attached and when I turned on the water it drained all over the floor. We were moved to a different room. We stayed 2 nights, the room was nice but the floor were dirty. I assume it was construction dust. Feet became dirty if you walked in the room with no shoes. The air conditioner was really loud and not efficient. The gentleman who checked us in was pleasant. In the evening we asked at the desk for coffee for morning as there was none in the room. She said she would bring it up and never did. I understand this was The Yellowstone Inn prior to becoming a Comfort Inn.

There was only hot water in the shower, which was scalding hot. I'm not sure how the only hooked up the hot water? I asked for another room to shower, which they provided. He check the water first and told me "it's warm water but will work". This room only had hot water as well. We left soon after. Also had very limited parking. I'd recommend finding another hotel. They're in the middle of a re-model, so who knows what other things are sketchy.

TV did not work, air conditioner was absurdly noisy, there was a gaping hole where the room refrigerator was supposed to be. Reported these concerns to front desk staff at check out. Was told the manager would call. To date, No one from management has contacted me. Fo your peace of mind and a good nights sleep, stay somewhere else!

I used hotels.com pay at property option. The hotel then charged the card used to make the reservation and ALSO CHARGED my husbands card for the full cost of the room. I was charged twice and they refuse to fix it or refund the extra amount.

Check in was at 3pm. We arrived at 5 pm, and were told not only was our room was not ready, but the rsvp for a king size bd was sold out. They only had 2 twin beds available and they would call us in 10 mins when it was ready.. After waiting 10 mins in the truck, I decided to go back in and cancel. However, the entire staff was in a meeting. I had to politely ask for assistance at the front desk. Positive side is they were open to canceling my rsvp, and apologized. Also, another young couple from out of state was in the same position. Now I need to confirm with Hotel.com my refund.

What i like the most was the friendly and accomidating staff. The place is being remodled so its a bit messy (as construction is) but the bedrooms that have been finished are gorgeous. They are also very well price. 10/10

There was no sign in front of the hotel at all. We weren’t sure we were in the right place. We learned the hotel is currently changing owners. Also, they are in the middle of a remodel. We walked by a work site in our way to our room at 8 pm with an open utility knife out in the middle of the hall and a very strong epoxy odor. We found our room, when we got there the door was ajar. We doubled checked our room keys and confirmed we were in the right room. So we dropped our bags, I opened up my backpack and scattered some of my items out on the desk, looking for an item. I left my things out. Then I settled our golden retrievers with food and water and headed out to grab a few other items from the car. When we returned a couple of minutes later we found two men - guests- in our room and our dogs barking in alarm. Turns out the receptionist assigned the room to 2 separate parties. What bothered me the most was the lack of an apology or a sincere, heartfelt effort to fix the situation.

Area where rooms are is in the middle of updating/remodeling. Definitely need and loving the changes! Breakfast hot foods were not hot unfortunately. New coffee maker is nice but the coffee is extremely strong compared to the last time we stayed here. We enjoy staying here versus Bozeman as is not too far of a drive and is a beautiful location. Easy on and off I-90! Will definitely be back.

Only thing that made it difficult was the parking lot was extremely tight and small for the hotel size. Also the breakfast was subpar.... Looked like they just steamed everything.... Sausage was nooo good. Pool was great!

Renovated hotel that was chic and clean! The room was on the 2nd floor and we discovered that the shower pressure was very low on hot/very warm. Made for a very short and uncomfortable shower. All the staff were very nice. However, breakfast gets a D-. We arrived an hour before breakfast stopped. No plates, forks, bacon, sausage, butter etc. The hotel was filled with people. One poor girl was running around trying to get things taken care of. I asked if she was the only one working and she said "yes". She was running from the front desk to the breakfast room trying to get things out. I felt terrible for her!! Definitely a management issue. We had breakfast at another restaurant.

We stayed at this hotel because it had the best price in Livingstone, which is notoriously expensive. The hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation and parts of it are a construction zone. There were signs up that said "Comfort Inn coming soon." The elevator, gym, pool, and tv's were not working yet, but the wifi was good. Our room had been renovated and had a comfortable bed, but there were no towel racks and the roller blind didn't cover the whole window. We could also smell paint from the ongoing renovation. The hall carpet had major paint spills on it. I'm sure it will eventually be ripped out. The breakfast was good and included scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, toast, and fruit. The coffee was nothing to write home about. I think that when the renovation is complete, it will be a nice place to stay, but until then I would look for another place if you can afford it.

I'm not sure if my experience could be placed on the hotel or expedia. What expedia advertised wasn't what I experienced. The entire place is undergoing active rennovation. Pool, fitness center, closed, no television, breakfast was a disaster, muffins were half frozen, sausage was cold, half and half for coffee was curdled, no syrup for waffles. The room itself was clean but not quite rennovation complete. I'm hoping things improve for them when its complete.

People were nice but at 2-3 am hearing workers start work by going up and down the hallway - where everyone had dogs, the noise woke us up and getting back to sleep wasn’t to be had. More affordable pet fee than Livingstone Motel down the street - but seriously, kids do more damage than my pets.
