Super 8 by Wyndham Livingston Yellowstone

Everything was out of order and the pictures are very receiving!! There is no bar or alcoholic beverages available on site like the pictures show!! The help on site is rude and are no help!!

Chair in room didn’t roll correctly. Shower valve was broken. Sink wouldn’t drain. No ice bucket. Ice machine broken. Breakfast was a joke, waffle maker, 2 types cereal, 2 types juice, no coffee

No one was present when we checked in at 12:15 a.m. I had called ahead several hours and spoke to a gentleman who said he'd be there. I told him we'd be in around middnight, and arrived 15 minutes past. I was able to reach someone else by phone, and our keys were in the drawer under the coffee pot in the lobby. The next evening, I requested quarters for laundry, located in the hall by the non-working ice machine. He told me I couldn't use the laundry because he was using it, and added that even if he wasn't, he couldn't let me anyway because it was too close to 10 p.m. When I mentioned no one was there at check in, he rudely stated that he had waited an exta hour for us, and left when we didn't arrive by midnight. Clerk at the convenience store next door informed me that she lived at the Super 8 a year ago for 3 months, and the ice machine never worked, so it has clearly been out of order a very long time. Management seems to not take pride in taking care of this propertyt or stafffing it with employees trained in basic customer service skills. I would not stay here again. Front desk gentleman was quite rude when I requested change for laundry.

Property is overpriced. Beds are old. Ice machine didn’t work. There was no plug for the bathroom. The place was very short staffed. No one could help with issues. The included breakfast had Froot Loops and a waffle maker. No fruit or yogurt or even a healthy cereal. Don’t stay here.

Property is older and no elevator

We were surprised an elevator wasn't available. My grandson had to get our suitcases up the stairs. Shower head covered with calcification, should be cleaned or replaced. Very disappointed by the small breakfast offered. Waffles and cereal but no milk. Probably won't stay at a Super 8 in the future.

Room was clean and neat but the breakfast was just short of a disaster. Ice machine broken, back door broken. Rack over the toilet is so narrow our towels fell in the toilet. The property needs some TLC!

Swing door latch broken, no plug for the bathtub, no screen for the window, air conditioner hanging off the wall, safe not attached to the wall, room not made up between days, poor breakfast,

Yes was easy to park and the park was at least 45 min drive

This property had mold in the bathroom, the ceiling fan in the fam was falling out the wall, the ice machine was broken and the stag wasn’t friendly. When we mentioned that the ceiling fan was coming out the ceiling the employee advised they were sending maintenance out to look at it and no one showed up.

Floors "NOT SWEPT OR MOPPED" Freezer completely iced in fridge dirty. Fitted sheets inside out & top sheets upside down. Makes a person think they are reusing them. The easy chair badly stained & ragged. Flip-over lock missing. Shower curtain bottom brown with scaley residue. Vacant room doors all ajar, & windows in them open, "on the ground level, "And at night"!..........

No one was at the front desk to assist at check in or check out. We had to call a number to get assistance. The room was disgusting. There was someone’s hair in the bathroom sink, bathroom reeked of mildew, wrapper on the floor, and huge old coffee stain on the bedding. The AC did not work properly either, it was loud and turned on every minute for 30 seconds. We would have left out of there running if it was not for the fact that it was late and there were no other hotels available due to moving our child in for college at MSU. Worst experience ever, slept with our clothes on for 7 hours and booked out of there as fast as we could.

The bathroom smelled like human urine. The odor permeated the entire hotel room. Needs a good cleaning apparently.

This property is dirty room smelled floors not clean blankets smelled and dirty. super breakfast is only pancake machine no other breakfast items. Will never stay there again.

Extremely Disappointing Stay After a long day visiting Yellowstone, I just wanted a comfortable bed—but this Super 8 completely failed. The mattress is very light and slides on the bed frame, and the edges are clearly deformed (as shown in the picture), making it unsafe and uncomfortable to sleep on. I don’t understand how Wyndham allows such mattresses in its hotels. On top of that, the towels were filthy, appearing grayish instead of clean. The room and bathroom floor were also dirty. Overall, the hygiene and condition of the room were unacceptable.

Sheets were soiled, hair left in the bed and in the shower. Blood on shower curtain. Left within mins of checking in

Floors were dirty, towel rack was duck taped and whole motel smelled of smokers.

Property needs better maintenance, there is mold on bathtub ceiling, using strong odor cleaning solution. Receptionist is so serious looking

Rooms were in terrible shape. Only one straight chair in room for sitting. Limiest electrical outlets, curtains were torn, paint splattered on doors and floors. Would never stay at this hotel brand again.

No trash can in room. Poor bed, soggy and sags in the middle. Rooms and exterior pet areas not maintained

The room was sparse and noisy. But it was clean and bed was good.

Continental Breakfast was either a waffle or cereal. No fruit. Coffee out by the front desk but not in the breakfast area. Room needs attention. Tv rack still connected to wall. Dangerous electrical connections. Bathroom dirty. Cigarette home in shower curtain.No cups. One waste basket. Pen and paper missing. Smile free room smelled of cigarettes.

They gave me a room close to the entry, but under the stairs. Constantly awakened all night by pounding noises. Room very spartan. Looked like a utility sort of room repurposed. Pricey room for what it was. Would not stay there again.

The hotel was very dated. Had to reprogram keys, which is usually because they have been reused too many times. The front desk was unmanned every time I walked by or into the hotel. There was a note with a phone number to call. The linen was old and threadbare. The privacy lock on my room door was broken. The room looked like it was set up for two beds, but there was only one bed in the room and a large, open space where the other bed would be. The furniture and the curtain were all old. This hotel is not like the Super 8s that have been updated since Wyndham has flagged these hotels. I've found they are hit or miss, so read the reviews carefully if you don't want to have a negative experience.

Beds were lopsided. Rooms were run down. Our room was right outside the McDonalds drive through so very noisy.

Room was clean, but smelled musty. Fan switch in bathroom didn't work. No instructions for how to use TV. When the dorm size refrigerator would cycle off, it shut the TV off. The AC unit was nice and cold, but VERY loud making it hard to sleep. There was 1 chair in the room - an uncomfortable office chair. A desk was the only table. There was a large empty space with room for a table and 2 chairs at least. I don't like sitting on the bed to eat. The walls are thin - we could hear the TV in the room next to us. Someone was slamming doors in our hall. The people above us were heavy footed so because the floors were not carpeted, we could hear EVERY step. Also, it sounded like they were jumping off the bed. "Breakfast" was only pancake/waffle batter or sugary cereal. I'm diabetic, so I didn't get to eat breakfast. We paid 10.00 less for another Windham hotel the night before, but it was 10 times better than here. I will not ever stay here again.

Room was clean, the office was dirty and wires showing everywhere. There was no breakfast, they had bag breakfast (whatever that means) but they wouldn’t be there until 9 and that was at 7:00. So part of staying there is for breakfast so I don’t have to stop someplace else.

They have no help. Nobody at the front desk. After calling the number that was on the desk 5 times i finally got a hold of someone to come from another motel to check us in. Then was charged $25 for checking in before 3, which was not posted anywhere. Nobody was at the desk the next morning when checking out either.

We arrived late for check in. I did call to let them know. When we arrived there was no one in sight. I finally called the hotels number and a lady answered. She informed me that someone would be with me shortly. Waited a little bit longer & a small child entered from the back office. Then the child went to wake up her mother .. so the employee was sleeping. When we entered our room … there was a sticky spot on the floor near the bed, and the sheets on the bed had dog hair all over the pillows.

Super 8 by Wyndham offered preregistration on line to save check in time. When I arrived at 2:20 PM there was no-one at the desk but there was a sign that said Due to a staff shortage, I could call a number listed. I was in the process of doing that when a disheveled woman showed up and said it I wanted to register early, I needed to pay her $25.00. I told her that I had already preregistered. She said that their hotel never got that information. I asked if they didn't get that online information, why was I asked to fill it out. She just shrugged her shoulders. Since it was already 2:30 PM, I went back to the parking lot to wait. At 3:00, I entered the property and asked a man who by then was acting as a receptionist why they didn't have my preregistration and he said they never get that. So I again was required to fill out my personal information and had to go out to the parking lot to obtain the license plate number on my rental car. When I finished signing in, he gave me a key and said my room would be ready in the next 5 to 10 minutes. I peeked around the corner and through the open door of the room and saw the same disheveled woman quickly sweeping dirt into a dust pan. I asked her why they didn't just give me a room that had already been cleaned. She was angry and said, "It's ready!" When I went in, I saw an upgraded room. I'm guessing they wanted to placate me. Personnel was either absent or indifferent from then on. Uncomfortable to say the least.

I've stayed at 6 Wyndham properties this trip with 5 more ahead. All of the staff has been very welcoming, BUT! The little tyrant checking guest in here has no business being in a hospitality position. I'm 76 years old with over 50 years experience in customer service and can with all certainty say this young man is a detriment to your franchise.

Friendly staff, clean room, quiet. I’ve stayed here several times over the years.

It was older which we knew coming in, rooms are super nice and redone for being an older motel. Everything seemed to be clean, beds were super comfortable. My only complaints are: there is no one ever at the front, you have to call if you need anything, we arrived a little over 30 minutes before our check-in time and we were told we couldn’t check in unless we paid a $24 check in fee. We have stayed in a lot of motels over the last few years and I have NEVER had one tell me I had to pay an early check in fee. There was someone behind us wanting to check in too and he asked what was happening. When I told him he was very frustrated as well because he too was coming to check in. I understand if there aren’t rooms ready yet, but to charge a check in fee because they didn’t want to come check us in a little early seemed insane. Also the only thing out to eat for breakfast was waffles and 2 kinds of cereal. As someone who has food allergies, it was a little frustrating there wasn’t some kind of fruit or something. Everything in the kitchen area was very clean and kept up though.

Breakfast was supposed to start at 6 but even at about 7:15 there was only waffles. Room was good and clean. Desk guy wasn't the friendliest. They were short staffed , maybe that had something to do with it.

Nice property and friendly staff

There was never anyone at the front desk. We arrived 1hr before check in time and search all of the property and called with no success. Also called the sister hotel. When we finally found a maintenance person (Jacob) who did go above and beyond to help us. Everyone we talked to pushed a $25 early check in even though by the time we found someone we only had 30 minutes before the actual check in. We ended up paying for 1 of the 3 rooms as we need to get ready for an event.

This was the perfect location for our 4 days in Yellowstone! Very comfortable and wonderful stay! Beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Prima overnachting gehad. Helemaal niks mis mee. Ontbijt had wel iets uitgebreider gemogen: je kon alleen kiezen tussen wafels of cereals. Qua prijs/prestatie - ook kijkend naar de mooie ligging ten opzichte van Yellowstone - een topper! #10

The breakfast was poor. Advertsed as a super energy breakfast, but only had serial and a pancake. Very disappointed. Coffee was good.

This hotel charges extra. Hotels.com confirmed price but they charged about $30 extra on the top of hotels.com. No Coffee, No Tea, No Breakfast (though include breakfast), no attendant, no water, no towel replacement, no attendent, no one is there to refill coffee or water or waffle mix...everything was empty..when called no one was answering..all guest were so tired..and they take breakfast to SUBWAY and McDonal;s right next to the hotel

Staff is not available at front desk. The quality of the breakfast was too terrible. It mean no scramble eggs , no sausage links or bacons , and no coffee in the breakfast room.

The evening desk clerk Robert was very nice and helpful the morning clerk was rude.Breakfast offered at the property consisted of waffles and 2 kinds of cereal coffee and juice nothing else to eat no toast muffins or fruit of any kind worst we've ever seen . If you're looking for breakfast i wouldn't recommend.
