The room was clean, the staff really REALLT friendly and helpful! The hotel was perfect to stay for the Big Sur marathon. Hydration stations in the hallways, staff cleaning constantly, friendly helpful staff. Just wish the property had some refurbishing upgrades to make it nicer. The gym was doable but sorta dirty feeling.

We had a wonderful stay at the Monterey Marriott from Friday, March 13 through Monday, March 16. From the moment we arrived, the staff was professional, welcoming, and consistently courteous throughout our entire visit. Our room was very clean and well-maintained, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The housekeeping team did an outstanding job each day—everything was refreshed promptly and with great attention to detail. Overall, the level of service really stood out and made our stay that much more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Monterey Marriott to anyone visiting the area.

Everything was perfect, near to the shop, clean was room. But put a big sign for the Ice Machine, it looks like it was hiding.
