Ms Jade, Ms Raven, Mr Aaron, and Mr Jacob to name a few provided an exceptional high level of customer service throughout the duration of our stay. We loved our impromptu overnight stay here. Beautiful building, extremely comfortable bed and room, good location for walking to miscellaneous nearby places, good safe parking garage under the hotel. The restaurants inside the hotel and in the surrounding area have weird hours on weekends, with some of them not even opening. The hotel restaurant and bar on the first floor have great staff, and we would highly recommend the burger and rockfish. Pool was surprisingly cold although the pool area was very hot and humid , and we didn’t expect so many people (a tad crowded). We would definitely stay here again.

I was hoping that the pool and sun deck area was going to be nicer. The pool area was like a hot green house-- and a small door opens it up to the outdoor area. Would be better if ot could be a large garage door to give better access to both areas to use on warm days

We had an excellent experience with Omni. It was a beautiful room and hotel, for a reasonable rate for the experience. Pool was super fun and open later. We got great food for the onsite restaurant without the markup you usually associate with room service. Everyone who worked there was polite, professional, and helpful.

The third room was lovely. The first two rooms had cleanliness issues. Dirt on the topsheet (looks like it had been walked on with a dirty shoe) and the second room had a stained matress and mattress pad. Nicely appointed rooms and hotel but it is a toss of the dice if you get a clean room. They were nice about getting us another room (both times) but we had just driven through a storm and it was midnight when we checked in and we just wanted to go to bed.

I checked out only moments after checking in. The first room they gave me had a bad smell, the air didn’t work, sheets were dirty, and the mirror in the bathroom was literally falling off the wall. They moved me to another room and it was just as bad. I got out of there and booked another hotel nearby.

This was a beautiful property in main areas, however our room could have used some deep cleaning. Out shower curtain was stained in a spot on outside, the carpet was gross- I’m guessing coffee stains or something and definitely not want shampooed in awhile. The biggest issue was the heating unit- it kicked out so much dust that our phones were covered in it as well as end tables etc. in the sun it looked like it was snowing as the hvac unit ran. I’m guessing maybe filters or ducts need to be cleaned. I’m not one to complain, but it definitely was a bit disappointing for the cost.

I love the Omni and was given a nice corner room. The only problem I had was the charger/electrical outlet on the table did not work so I couldn’t charge my phone.

Not a great place to stay with a family. The options are a king bed room or a room with 2 double beds. They say they can’t add a rollaway to the 2 double bed rooms due to fire code, but I was ready to take my chances Otherwise a fine serviceable hotel. But a family of 4 or more is not fitting comfortable into one room.

Had a nice stay. After a long drive we rolled in at 1am, Kevin greeted us, gave us the lay of the land, assigned the room and gave us a complimentary coffee to Starbucks for the morning. We felt welcome. The only draw back was at 8am hearing the cleaning crews conversations in the hall way as they turned the rooms. I would recommend this Omni. I’ve stayed at a few hotels in Richmond and this one has their stuff together.

Had a wonderful stay for 2 nights at Omni. Nice location, Super friendly staff which were extremely outgoing, professional, and genuinely hospitable. I will definitely stay there again if in Richmond again.

I have never seen such a terrible hotel service in my life. When I got to the hotel to check in around 4:00PM, my room was not available and I had to wait with my kids to ge to my room.

Everything was great until a very aggressive security guard knocked at my door at 2am. Threatening to call the police if I didn't open the door. I called the front desk and she said it was a noise complaint however, I was in bed. That wasn't explained by the security officer. He was upset bc i did not open the door.

The reason for the poor review is the fact that the valet lost my key to my car. It was never checked in and when I went to leave the key was gone. Hundreds of dollars for a replacement. They took my information and said they would call me later that day, that was 6 days ago. Called yesterday, was in hold for 40 minutes, said they’d call me back and never did. Terrible.

For the most part a very good place to stay. They do charge for WiFi which in this day and age is pretty absurd. They say there is a way to get free lower tier WiFi if you join Omni rewards but even if you join there is not an option to apply the rewards and get free internet. They want you to choose the pay option and then at check out get it taken off the bill. Ridiculous. Also front desk never answered the phone all three times I called. It goes to hold and after waiting 5-10 min each time I just gave up. Even the technical help line which was an outsourced call center could not get through to the front desk to confirm how to use the rewards program to not pay for internet. I believe the same thing is true for the 1 free water per visit (seriously?). You need to get charged and then have it taken off the bill.

It said walkable, there were a few restaurants but not many. Some homeless around I asked the desk if it was safe to walk alone, they seemed skeptical

Absolutely lovely hotel. Jacob was the front desks man who helped us check in. Jacob is a fantastic employee and deserves a raise. Jacob realized our room was double booked and upgraded us to better accommodations with no fee. We also received 2 drink tickets for the amazing bar they have on sight. Jacob was very kind and attentive. Loved our room, and the showers are amazing.

Location is great and the restaurant across the street, The Tobacco Company is fantastic. You should not miss it. On the opposite side, the restaurant inside the hotel was terrible. From the drinks to food, terrible! They served us the soup cold! The iceberg in the salad was month old! The meat was chewy and low quality! The service was bad! The rooms and hotel staff was great and they had an Starbucks inside the hotel which was a plus but Starbucks closed early!

We found the staff wonderful at every step. The room was clean and modern, the hotel overall is very attractive. The restaurant was excellent, especially the breakfast! The chef, Samuel did a wonderful job with everything, especially the biscuits and gravy. Also thanks to Phaedra and Stewart in tbe restaurant, and Jacob at the front desk. I would highly recommend!
