The room smells horrible. Like someone dumped a bottle of cheap perfume in here. I rented here for the pool which was closed and didn’t get a break about it and was not happier at all with service or premises

At first when I arrived I was not the happiest about the room I was in. However after speaking with the staff and them accommodating me with what ever it was that I needed I definitely give this place an over 6 out of 10…I only wished that the pool was open for my kids

Manager is very unprofessional and rude.. He tries to still money and gets mad when you notice and catch on. He called the police on me after I complained and already prepaid wasn’t trying to give me a refund. Don’t book here. Room was dirty, Tv was broke. Pool out of order.

Thought I was booking with a swimming pool, says it on their description on Expedia, there is no pool, big let down for my kids for the weekend, not sure if that’s an Expedia thing or a hotel giving false information. Either way, it’s advertised as having a swimming pool and it doesn’t.

When I checked in, I gave my name and told him that I had a reservation showing him my drivers license. He tried to charge me again after I already paid so he had to refund me then he charged me another $25 for a security deposit which was fine, took forever to check in. It was round 630 pool was completely closed and covered Room smelled, and there was a dirty towel on the back of the door. The walls were dirty in the bathroom. The Complementary coffee in the room was already opened from the previous tenant …phone did not work no dial tone. I tried to call the front desk To notify them That we needed more towels because the dirty towels were in the room from the previous person disgusting.

This room was not clean when i checked in. The sheets had three cigarette burns, the comforter had stains, the ice bucket AND liner was dirty with visible hair and debris. When i pulled the top sheet back there was long hairs already there. The mattress cover was stained and had what appeared to be brown debris. I checked out immediately after seeing my room(228) in this condition.

I liked that the cockroaches and other insects were not alive and crawling around the room. But I did not like that they were laying on the bathroom floor. I also didn’t like the pubic hairs that were in the shower.

The day manager is hard to understand, and changed our reservation from 2 queen beds to a king, which was ok, but I don't know why. The room had a pile of dirt at the door. The bathroom shower was half cleaned, the corners of the room were dirty. The bedspread was stained all over it and had a large burn in it. The sheet also had burn mark in it. There was a couch that looked like something you'd find in a college dorm room and hadn't been cleaned ever. Breakfast was "managed" by the same person who check us in. The drink dispenser was empty, the waffle mix was empty after I used it. Only when told, did the person attend to anything. My husband ate a small sausage and egg biscuit, covered in ice. Later that day, he developed a rather intense stomach ache we believe came from that biscuit. Overall, our stay was hugely disappointed. The old saying is "you get what you pay for". At this hotel, we didn't even get that.

The smell in the hallway of food as if someone was cooking tacos and then when you get in the room, it was just the worst smell ever. It wasn’t fresh. It was not clean. It was not inviting. It was awful.

In bathroom shower no where to put your soap etc. hard to get into bathroom. Need to step around toilet or into shower. Towels felt wet. One bath tower was like a rag and should have been thrown out. We asked person at desk how far from hotel was Chinese restaurant. He hands us a steak place card. Never answered us. Quality In. Is off our list.

I normally don't do reviews, but the cleanliness of the room was questionable. My husband's socks were black after walking around for a short period of time. The hair dryer didn't work, actually the outlet where the hair dryer was didn't work. I told management about it after first night and it was noted. Nothing was done to correct the problem. Also, had another outlet that sparked when trying to plug in phone charger. Waffles were not good, had a bitter taste to them. Milk was sour. I was given milk out of gallon milk jug, but the rest was poured into the pitchers without dumping out old milk. My daughters room was supplied with only one towel for four people. Our room had two towels, but on the following day when my husband requested more towels and he was given a plastic bag to bring back the used towels in exchange for new towels. Needless to say, I won't be staying there again.

TV didn't work. Wasn't very friendly. Wouldn't give me a receipt. AC wasn't turned on, room was hot and stuffy. Floors were slippery/sticky. Broken hair dryer. Coffee pot and clock not plugged in. Not very conducive to a return visit. Will stay elsewhere.

The room was very disappointing, the furniture was badly stained the fridge and microwave were not clean (especially the buttons caked with crud) it wouldn’t take much to wipe the doors and handles clean. One of the beds squeaked like a rusty old machine when my husband simply moved in the bed. The front door barely fit the frame so you could see light coming in from outside. This place is being terribly neglected. I would recommend another choice of hotel for those who expect a clean, safe and comfortable place to stay.

We were disappointed in the quality of the hotel and in its cleanliness. The floor of our room was very dirty when we checked in. The walls were very thin so that when our neighbors got up at 3:30 am, we could hear every word of their conversation. And the hotel was located in a busy, noisy area - there was a group of men drinking around a campfire in the parking lot next door late at night that we could hear clearly. The beds were comfortable, but oitherwise, it was a disappointing stay.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. The rate for a place like this should be $60 - Yet, They charged me $400 for one hour in a room after kicking me out for complaining about their transparency and cleanliness. When I first checked in, I was informed that there was an additional nightly fee of $25 because I had my cat with me. All the hotel booking said was "pet friendly" and the last 2 pet friendly hotels I stayed at didn\'t charge me extra for my cat. I protested at first but paid. Then was checked into a dirty room. There was mold all around the shower edge, pet hair everywhere, pubes and brown stuff on the floor by the toilet, a soap wrapper was in the sink when i first came in. I called the front desk for a room change, was denied, house keeping came by with cleaner in a smart water bottle, saturated the place in cleaner and mopped all surfaces - effectively spreading the pubes and fecal matter that was on the floor. Then I posted a 2 star review and they kicked me out. The owner promised me a refund if I took down my review but today I checked my account and I\'m still short $400. All I did was take a shower. The owner argued with me for 15 minutes in the office. This place is a scam. I can\'t believe they charged me $400 for a one hour stay in a hotel. I\'m reporting to BBB and Choice hotels

Way over priced for the property. Construction around and difficult to maneuver driving at night. We were on our way to Norfolk and would recommend driving a few more minutes to have nicer facilities and dining options.
