I read some of the other comments. Ok. Red Roof Inn is not so expensive. I just want a clean room, and easy check in/out. Red Roof Inn is not responsible for the bratty (parents should control this) kids that want to make a lot of noise. Also, there is a phone by the front desk that has a sign on it that says,"Front desk." So, if a real person is not there when you arrive, use the phone and someone will come right down. this is one of the cleanest Red Roof Inns i have stayed at. Lastly, I could not figure out why my remote did not turn the TV on. I asked the manager, and he walked with me to my room. He showed me to point the remote at a specific area, which is a red light on the left side. TVs work, no problem. Thank you very much, Red Roof Inn of Suffolk. I slept so good.

The beds were comfortable. When I booked the room online, it showed that there was free breakfast and laundry facilities. There were NO breakfast and laundry facilities at this hotel. When the front desk was let known about what it said online, they chuckled and said sorry. No compensation!

I have stayed here twice within a month. Pre booked for the price and advertising of remodeling. Well it totally missed mark. The remodel was only done on certain parts of rooms. New headboard, and tv, but old worn out slippery tub (Safety Hazard). Lobby smells of pot, room smelled like mold. There is no air flow. Bathtubs on both visits did not drain due to amount of hair and gunk in drains. No security as front and back doors open not locked or shut 24/7. Common areas dirty and smelly (mold&pot). Just a very disappointing experience that could be better if owners took more pride in the property. Will not be back as I'll pay a little more for others that i know can deliver a better experience.

Staff were great! It is an older building, but they are trying to keep up with it. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, the bar in the window could have been better. The worse part was the floor was sticky, but I think it was because to much cleaner was being used to clean. The room itself was updated. I would stay again.

Quaint little place, as all I needed was a place to lay my head. It was clean and the people were friendly. There wasn't a breakfast, the only other issue I had was some ADA issues getting into the hotel. Still a good place to stay.

1.) There was no luggage cart available, adding to the difficulty of being a disabled veteran. 2.) My window has no locking device at all. There was the handle from a squeegy(sp) laying in the track of the window, but it was too short to prevent someone on the outside from opening it. 3.) The ac/heater was VERY loud.

Very sub par for a Red Roof Inn. Low lighting outside (even the Red Roof Inn sign was burned out), inadequate disabled parking space, more run down than other Red Roof Inns we have stayed at. Neighborhood was sketchy. Didn’t feel comfortable. Not good for travelers along the road, which is what we use RRI for. This experience was unusual for a RRI, which are usually nice, clean, and consistent.

The bathtub had stains, hair, and sticky residue. The area is very convenient if you’re traveling with a dog. There is a park nearby and plenty of grass around the parking lot for a quick walk.

The floors were disgusting, I don’t think they are ever mopped. Not once did our room get cleaned or offered fresh/clean towels. The only housekeeping staff we saw was when we checked in and they were loudly bad mouthing another member of the staff. Not very professional. Nasty air filter in the AC, it smelled like old cigarettes all the time. Didn’t feel safe around the hotel, a lot of homeless-looking people hanging around smoking and checking out your belongings when you take them in and out of the car, loud obnoxious music…I could go on and on

Unfortunately this was the cheapest hotel for my stay . Arrived and found roaches in my refrigerator. I would of complained but I was certain the staff running the establishment wouldn’t care since they tried to charge me $490 when I booked it for $260. After showing them my receipt they said “oh my apologies we thought you were someone else” Also it’s good I bought my own towels since they failed to bring me new ones daily. So do yourself a favor and stay in your car as you will be better off.

There is an awful smell in the hallway. The first room had soiled or stained linen and the ac was not functioning properly. The second room had a great ac but the pillow cases had stains on them and the cover had cigarette burn holes in it.

This was the worst experience I've ever had. The place was not clean the bedding had stains and when I asked for them to be change housekeeping came to my room in a wifebeater tshirt. When changing the sheets they threw the layering sheet on the floor and proceeded to try to put it back on the bed when changing the bed. After explaining that was not acceptable they proceeded to have a attitude when I ask for newer sheets. I will never stay at another red roof inn!

The room was attractive and up-to-date. However, the odor that filled the room was stifling! It was a smell I didn't recognize. Made us concerned as to what odor they were trying to conceal. The floor had no carpet and felt oily on our bare feet and left them (the bottom of our feet) dirty. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well, however.

Our room looked as tho it had been very recently updated. I love the wood floors and that our little dog is free. Very convenient location for us. We even got to see dolphins from our window in the river.

I reserved a king room. Day of arriving they told me it dou le booked and offered me a double bed rooom. I had no chance to find another hotel, and thwy knew this im sure. So i accepted. Hotel was terribly run down. Trash outside door to enter property.

Got to the property and the desk guy said that my card was declined. The card on file was not mine. Let him see the info on the phone for the booking and was still met with resistance and sooo much rudeness. Then said that however I booked has then locked up his system. Was then turned away unless I paid again. I decided to try anyway and then he questioned who was staying in the room and I was lying to his face saying that I was staying and not the other person in my party. He was very unpleasant and disrespectful to me. I decided to not spend my money with him. He quickly got up and crumpled up my info sheet as to say he didn't want my business anyway. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Felt unsafe outside after sunset when approached by a stranger who was staying at the hotel. There was no one at the front desk to observe him take my hand which was frightening. Bed linens had old burn holes in them.
