Outstanding! Wonderful experience. Would stay there again without hesitation. The Beau Brasserie was in a class by itself. Terrific food, and the bartenders should be rewarded for their incredible service, competence, and attitude. They are incredible!

Superb location in the centre of bath with everything within easy walking distance. Hotel was undergoing renovations while we stayed so we used the side door as did others. Unfortunately this door does not have a soft close so we had to listen to the door banging closed late at night and early morning. Otherwise a very nice stay in a well presented room.

Great hotel with a comfortable bed! We used concierge parking which was nice and convenient even at 40 pounds. The room had a mini-fridge and we got a bucket of ice for cold drinks. The room was tastefully decorated, the robe and slippers were a nice touch too. We had room 419 and the porter helped carry our bags up the half flight of stairs but the hotel does have an elevator that can be used for other rooms.

The hotel is an interesting mix of rooms cobbled together from various connected properties. It's very conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from the train station and just on Abbey Square. Our room was a reasonable size with a comfortable king size bed, nice linens and very clean. The decor was somewhat outdated and very dark. The bathroom was small but newly renovated. Our view was less than interesting. We faced a stone wall and construction from next door. The staff are more than helpful and very welcoming. They gave us excellent recommendations for pubs and restaurants and were immediately responsive to any issues. Although difficult to navigate (up an elevator, down a hall, down an elevator, etc.) we did manage to find a side door that bypassed much of that travel to get in and out of the building(s). The restaurant (Beau) was great. We had a lovely dinner there.

Location really good and easy. Lots of stairs in property and cellar rooms require you being outside. Breakfast facilities a bit overwhelmed and seating cramped but food options good. For the price I was expecting spectacular and I got good.

Amazing hotel right in the heart of Bath, fantastic team, great breakfast and lovely room. Only downside is parking, big premium if you don’t drive an EV to get there & on street parking limited to one hour. Used their valet parking at £40 for the stay which was great but had to exit by 1pm next day so time in Bath was limited as local car park was full. Overall an amazing hotel with great staff but Bath is not car friendly !

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are decent size and well ventilated. Going to the rooms is a brief walk from the reception, although you can use the garden to access the rooms. The gym is good, with the usual equipment and it’s in working condition! Breakfast is delicious and fresh. From the menu you can choose from a variety of hot options. Location is central to restaurants, shops and the Roman bath. There were a buses along the road and train slightly further up (well within walking distance) and more restaurants around it.

We knew we would have to park across the road at the council car park - but trying to find a park in there was a nightmare on a sunday. No where to pull up to drop bags -so you have to carry/pull from wherever you get a park - rain or shine. No trolley - doors are narrow, corridors are narrow too. Very much a small boutique hotel with lots of small areas.

Cups in room were not washed. The rooms ceiling was so low in our room I had to crouch when in there. The shower was even worse. Could barely get clean. It was also terribly hot in the room and many deranged homeless wondering around the perimeter of the hotel.

Lovely room and decor! Unfortunately a cup fell on the floor into a corner and when I picked it up it was covered in thick black hair (I am not black haired). So although the centre and the main area of the room was clean and corners were not. Lovely location, I left super early and just got a "thanks" as I checked out. It would have been nice to have had more integrative chats with the staff and maybe even a question like "how is your room?" "How was your stay?".

I usually love Hotel Indigo but I was disappointed by the non-working air conditioner and TV that kept turning on all night. Also the housekeeping team only made the bed, didn’t clean the bathroom or anything at all.

It is a beautiful hotel in a convenient location. The hotel is so nicely decorated. The room is so clean with good size, and bathroom is large with both shower and bath tub. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

We had a great day at the indigo, a beautiful room, very clean, friendly staff, and they actually let us store the bags for the whole day even after we checked out great place!

Fabulous location. Gorgeous building decorated really well with quirky character. Good sized rooms. Comfortable bed.amazing big bathroom and friendly staff Unfortunately however the room above us was so noisy that we didn't get a good sleep. They started walking around and moving things very early and it was continuous with sudden bangs for hours. insulation/floor joists between rooms is obviously poor. We also had a leak in the bathroom ceiling which soaked the floor and our stuff. We reported it but these issues ruined our stay. Such a shame as we were really enjoying the hotel until the morning time.

Lovely room and lovely hotel! Great location, nice breakfast. My only complaint was the room was rather hot (top floor during heat wave). The AC was not able to keep up.

A brilliant stay from beginning to end. Wonderful staff who are friendly and professional. Superior was just that - superior. Massive comfy bed, great decor, clean and well maintained with nice complimentary touches in the fridge.

Staff very friendly and helpful, room was noisy due to being next to the air conditioning units outside, the room was too hot but when we put the air conditioning on it didn’t seem to cool the room effectively plus it was noisy itself making a bubbling sound. All in all not a very pleasant stay.

Lovely stay at the Indigo. It was one of the hottest days of the year and unfortunately the air conditioning just wasn’t up to scratch in the room so made it tricky to sleep. Comfy beds though and really nice and friendly staff all round.

Warning!!! - don’t stay here in a street side room if you wish to sleep at night! Or if you wish for a real long size bed… they seems to be confused about bed sizes. It seems to be a lovely hotel nestled in the heart of Bath offering all the luxury and benefits of its central location. This is all great until one wishes to actually sleep. We booked 2 rooms on a Friday evening and both rooms assigned to us were street-side on the first level. Unfortunately people use the sidewalk right outside of our window and really unfortunately they talk and yell loudly all hours of the night…till 4am. In addition, traffic drives by, mere feet away from these rooms. As I lay awake at 4am listening to people yelling and shouting, cars and motorcycles driving by, I couldn’t help but wonder if the hotel staff noticed that we were international travelers and decided we were good candidates for these rooms since we were passing through the area and they assumed we would not be back?? Another unforgivable fact was the false marketing of their “king size” beds….they are just Queen size. Their response was that Britain calls them different sizes than America….however in London and around the UK, a King size was the same as American sizes….makes one wonder???? Hotels resolution- Sorry, we can’t control the noise. Be aware of what to expect before staying there.

Room was very small for a king for two people and really very tired. Could not get the seat out to sit at the mirror to dry hair as no room. Felt more like a single room. Complimentary products were a poor substitute for the Bramley products of the past.

We had an absolutely brilliant time from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The team are incredibly friendly and professional. They took our car so we didn't have to worry about finding parking and showed us right to the door of our room. Our room was clean, modern and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel is in a brilliant location being only a 5 minute walk away from the main high street. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

This hotel was the best hotel we stayed at during our 2 week in England. We only stayed in Bath for a night (would have stayed longer if her could) but they the hotel made you feel like you were stepping in time with their theme of gambling. But, the customer service, especially Alberto, went above and beyond with their service. Definitely recommend staying here, and it was very central to everything and less than a 5 minute walk to the train station., and reasonable price.

I was twice told that my suitcase would be in my room. Once when I checked in a bit early and couldn’t go to my toom yet. When I returned and was given my room number and key I was told your suitcase is in your room. Both times untrue. Rang reception after 15 minutes to be told 'We're very busy and over a hundred rooms!!' Very rude and snappy without a thought of an apology. In the end I went and collected my suitcase. They then offered to bring it to my room when I was there at reception collecting it anyway!!! £303 a room with officious non existing service.

This hotel epitomises top customer service. Every single person has a smile and is so knowledgeable. Shout out on this visit to Thomas the concierge for helpfulness and a pleasant chat. I dropped my luggage on route to my workplace and on return it was on my room 😍 This hotel is just class. The room is superb, bath exquisite. Bed linen so soft. Sad there were no biscuits either day in my room ! That’s my only tiny gripe

Wonderful location - located within walking distance of the train, the Baths and Abbey and all of the other wonderful sights. Unique decor, well appointed room with lovely hot water and a big bed, there was nothing to complain about. The hotel staff at check-in/out and the concierge were lovely and so helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

Location was excellent for walkers. Restaurants were close by, historical sites and parks an easy stroll. Hotel had a unique ambiance with its own history. Close to churches also. Only drawback was noisy folks who sat outside at the front of the hotel till 2-3 in the morning in seating provided. Could this be remedied as it was a detraction from an excellent property?

For those travelling by train, this hotel is very close to the station. It’s near all the attractions but away from the busy crowds. Very quiet! We appreciated the pleasant, efficient staff and enjoyed our stay.

Outstanding! Wonderful experience. Would stay there again without hesitation. The Beau Brasserie was in a class by itself. Terrific food, and the bartenders should be rewarded for their incredible service, competence, and attitude. They are incredible!

The hotel staff was extremely hospitable. The breakfast that was bought with the room was simply fantastic (in most hotel it is an overprice affair; here it was excellent, varied and plentiful). The restaurant staff was also extremely helpful and equally hospitable. The rooms were interestingly decorated and comfortable but also different from the typical bland hotel rooms. The hotel offers many uniquely attractive features that we enjoyed it very much. Overall a great and fun experience.

Location really good and easy. Lots of stairs in property and cellar rooms require you being outside. Breakfast facilities a bit overwhelmed and seating cramped but food options good. For the price I was expecting spectacular and I got good.

Had a lovely stay. Staff were great and super friendly and helpful. Bathroom and shower (while smallish) very nice. Room clean and comfy bed. Amazing breakfast - would go back just for that.

The property felt centrally located, we could walk to several places in this wonderful city which was absolutely amazing. The room was a decent size, speakers from the TV in the bathroom was a nice touch since the Olympics was on. During our stay, the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate fairly early in the morning, some people ran out in their bathrobes with a towel around their head. We ordered room service, we were told we could not get a cup of coffee through room service due to health and safety reasons. The breakfast took an hour and forty minutes to arrive. By then I had been to starbucks at the train station to by the coffee, and got a muffin. They waived the charges for the room service breakfast due t the delay, we didn't eat it because it came with two boiled eggs (which we didn't order because my fiance is vegan). They were very nice at checkout, and we really enjoyed this beautiful city.

Lovely Hotel with helpful staff very clean and inviting. We did have two issues though, firstly our room was up 5 flights of stairs from street level but if you accessed from the courtyard it was 7 flights with no lift access, this was changed on our second day with no problem. The breakfast was very pot luck on the service front and the first morning we both had scrambled eggs the likes of which we had never seen before it was dreadful, we asked for a different milk jug as it looked dirty inside and we didn’t fancy using it, this was replaced with milk in a teacup and I’m not sure how I was supposed to pour it into my coffee but that was what I was given. Second day waited 1/2hr for a cup of coffee and third day breakfast was delivered to a vacant table that had yet to be cleared and sat there for 15 mins. We asked for fresh which they did do. So as I say breakfast service let the hotel down badly and at £20 a head is outrageously expensive for what it is.

Bathroom and kettle were not clean - used contact lens, patches of someone else’s hair on bathroom floor, kettle was not emptied with water mixed with floating white stuff (calcium ?)… but they were fast to change a new kettle for me. I was bitten by bedbug on the second night.

A bit of a scam with bed size. A king bed in UK is less than king bed size in the rest of the world. So you pay more and dont get what you think you pay for. Also the A/C is pitiful. Too bad the hotel itself is nice.
