The hotel itself was nice. The room was spacious and clean and air conditioning was very welcome on a hot and humid day so we slept comfortably. Blackout curtains were brilliant. However it was let down by the ridiculous price of breakfast £17.50pp and not so hearty. And also let down by the availability of the spa/pool for guests. You have to book a slot, which is fine, but as it really is a small pool and there are so many guests in comparison, its easily overcrowded if everyone wants to use the same area. And also hard to get slots. Which was a shame as we missed out.

Loved this hotel, it was very comfortable and the room was big and spacious with 2 king size beds. Pool area is very small but numbers are regulated so it doesn't get too busy! Great location

This is a spa hotel. There is a pool with spa jets that's very nice, but no massages or other treatments. It's a bit farther from the train station but convenient to restaurants and attractions.

We visited the 21st of November and we loved it. We arrived a bit earlier than expected and check in wasnt until 3.30 but there were no problems with using the spa area before hand. Thank you to the man who helped us on the front desk he was lovely. Spa- changing rooms were clean and spacious. Towels were easy to find and plenty of. Pool was lovely along with the sauna, steamroom, area for tropical/arctic shower and a cold water bucket. Plenty of room to sit or lounge. At check in it was straight forward and given directions before heading to our room which was great. Our room was spotless (cleaned by Mia, thanks Mia!) A little rubber duck and some pillow pray on the bed which was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable and a lovely chair and foot rest aswell as enough desk space. Bathroom was great, deep bath and separate shower. We would definitely recommend and would stay again

Good but disappointed the pool is too cold to actually relax in. We came for the spa to have a relaxing weekend. The sauna and steam room are great but there is no hot pool to just sit in. The pool is too cold to lay in without needing to be moving. No decent TV either, so felt like we couldn't just relax in the hotel.

Lovely hotel great staff in a lovely location have stayed here on the number of occasions rooms are large with coffee making machines and water. Lovely swimming pool and sauna would highly recommend ideal for Christmas shopping and the power Christmas party.

Not a 4 star property. Room was okay, bathroom was great. Towels were actually brown. Surprised they put those out for guest use. Couldn’t get myself to use them. Staff service is A++ but hallways shabby, disorganized and dirty

The hotel is modern and stylish, with a great location for Bath. The pool is nice, and although they want you to book to use it, we had no issues during the week and just went down. I assume it's busy on weekends. The main issue I had with the stay was that out of four nights, we only had our room cleaned once, and that was after asking. They seem to have insufficient staff and focus on turning over the single-night rooms, so if you have a long stay, you'll need to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. Generally, the service was not friendly; no one spoke to us when we arrived or departed. For a 4-star hotel, the service was relatively poor. We did not dine there or have breakfast, as there are ten times better options just a few minutes from the hotel door. Careful with parking as we parked in the Charlotte Street car park but got a fine on the first day, even though we had paid. not fighting the charge. It was £92 for 5 days' parking, which was pretty expensive! If you are staying in Bath and not anywhere else and coming from London, I would advise coming by train, as you can get everywhere on foot.

Our mugs had a layer of dust and it was too late after I drank a whole glass of water to realize the murky mix of dust on the remaining 3 mugs. Breakfast was nice but the day we arrived there was a conference and we were left competing for a limited supply of full English items. But ordering from the menu was good although it was a wait.

Hotel was good and the spa was nice. Quite a simple spa and quite small but not filled with people Only issue was that we didn't get our room cleaned even though we had the sign out asking. Also, bath robes are £5 per person from the front desk.

Cleanliness of the pool area, body hair and fluff etc in the sauna, steam room and walk through. Room was really nice but several marks over the dressing table and a long the base of our bed, others than that we can't fault it.

The rooms were not as clean as they should have been with dusty surfaces and hairs in the sink and on the bathroom floor. Decent size room. The room faced the road which was quite noisy and had loud music from an outside establishment. Lovely clean pool facility but slippers cost £2! I wouldn’t stay again as didn’t feel it was good value for money or clean enough for my liking.

Our second stay at this hotel with children. Ideal set up for rooms with a double bed and two singles. Room was on the whole very good. Reasonable size and comfy beds. There was quite a lot of dust in the corners by the beds which let it down. The worst issue was the drain in the shower - had a terrible sewage like smell that lasted the whole time we were there. Was fine when the shower door was closed but having a shower was unpleasant. We did report it (quite late in the evening) and had an email from reception at 4am(ish) asking us to let them know when it was convenient for maintenance to attend but as we were only there for one night, it wasn’t really worth us trying to resolve it. We did report again on check out and staff were apologetic and said they’d get it sorted. Aside from this, hotel is in a great location - walkable to all the main city centre sights and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel was lovely and well situated. The staff were very friendly and smiley. The room was a good size and the bathroom was impressive for a standard room. The only down side was the window doesn’t open and bland view . Otherwise I can’t complain.

Excellent room. Very clean, nice biscuits, Nespresso coffee machine and tea. Fridge which we used for fresh milk from the bar and a large bottle of water replenished daily. Superb bathroom with large bath and separate large shower cubicle and lots of storage space. Good complimentary toiletries. Overall an excellent stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Apex hotel in Bath. From the moment we checked in until we left the staff were amazingly attentive and friendly. The hotel is in a superb position, in the centre of town, walking distance to everything in Bath. The hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. Our room, a superior double, could not be faulted. Great shower & bathroom and one of the largest, most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Breakfast was a buffet style(Hot & cold options), or you could order specialist egg meals from a menu. Lots of choice and all very tasty. The restaurant has a nice buzz in the mornings without feeling crowded. The bar area is a great place to de-stress after walking around Baths many attractions. They do some lovely cocktails and have some great wines to offer as well. The basement leisure spa is a fantastic asset for the hotel. We virtually had it to ourselves in the afternoons where we enjoyed the pool, sauna & steam rooms. The massage jets in the pool zone are fantastic for stiff or aching necks, backs and legs!!! We would not hesitate to stay here again and can'twait to return to the beautiful city of Bath

We checked-in on Saturday 10th May. Jessica was SO wecoming and very helpful. At dinner it was Charlie who was ever so attentive nothing was a problem for him and there were three of us lol. Breakfast was very organised and all the staff were very attentive.

A member of staff rummaged through my suitcase that I left in the luggage store. I found items in there that didn’t belong to me, my sunglasses were out of the case and all scratched and there was a broach that didn’t belong to me in one of my trainers that I cut my foot on when I put them on

The hotel is modern and stylish, with a great location for Bath. The pool is nice, and although they want you to book to use it, we had no issues during the week and just went down. I assume it's busy on weekends. The main issue I had with the stay was that out of four nights, we only had our room cleaned once, and that was after asking. They seem to have insufficient staff and focus on turning over the single-night rooms, so if you have a long stay, you'll need to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. Generally, the service was not friendly; no one spoke to us when we arrived or departed. For a 4-star hotel, the service was relatively poor. We did not dine there or have breakfast, as there are ten times better options just a few minutes from the hotel door. Careful with parking as we parked in the Charlotte Street car park but got a fine on the first day, even though we had paid. not fighting the charge. It was £92 for 5 days' parking, which was pretty expensive! If you are staying in Bath and not anywhere else and coming from London, I would advise coming by train, as you can get everywhere on foot.

As I'd stayed in an Apex hotel in London and loved it, I thought this would be a good option for Bath. Not so much. I booked a suite to ensure we had plenty of space during our stay. It was less than adequate. The sofa was so damaged they had blankets draped over it to hide the damage. The sofa cushions had been replaced by regular cushions. The curtains in the bedroom were not hooked up correctly so hung at an angle and the blind had been removed (the fittings were all still there though). We decided to have breakfast downstairs one day and while the food selection was not great, the service was non-existent. After we were seated, we waited to put in an order and no-one came. We had to physically walk over to 3 staff who were chatting and ask that one of them take our order. I did point out all of this to the hotel when we left and all we got was 'I'm sorry'.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Apex hotel in Bath. From the moment we checked in until we left the staff were amazingly attentive and friendly. The hotel is in a superb position, in the centre of town, walking distance to everything in Bath. The hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. Our room, a superior double, could not be faulted. Great shower & bathroom and one of the largest, most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Breakfast was a buffet style(Hot & cold options), or you could order specialist egg meals from a menu. Lots of choice and all very tasty. The restaurant has a nice buzz in the mornings without feeling crowded. The bar area is a great place to de-stress after walking around Baths many attractions. They do some lovely cocktails and have some great wines to offer as well. The basement leisure spa is a fantastic asset for the hotel. We virtually had it to ourselves in the afternoons where we enjoyed the pool, sauna & steam rooms. The massage jets in the pool zone are fantastic for stiff or aching necks, backs and legs!!! We would not hesitate to stay here again and can'twait to return to the beautiful city of Bath

Really nice, modern hotel on the edge of the old city centre - close to everything. Only minus is parking, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel .- but otherwise, I highly recommend it for a stay in Bath.

Fantastic two-night stay at Apex Bath! The hotel was stylish, spotless, and perfectly located for exploring the city. Staff were friendly and were extremely helpful when needed. The room was cozy with great amenities, and we loved the little touches (like the comfy bed and quiet atmosphere). And working Air-Con! Would 100% stay again—thanks for a lovely weekend! Park in Charlotte street carpark and took over to hotel or 6 min walk. Pool, sauna and steam room were great! Breakfast was delicious and worth the money! Nothing bad to say at all.

The hotel was very modern and location great. Our room was a little dirty and whilst tidy there were signs of dirt missed during cleaning. Photos taken for evidence. Our mugs had a layer of dust and it was too late after I drank a whole glass of water to realize the murky mix of dust on the remaining 3 mugs. Breakfast was nice but the day we arrived there was a conference and we were left competing for a limited supply of full English items. But ordering from the menu was good although it was a wait.

Really nice hotel, room service, staff, amazing service. I will definitely be booking this hotel again as it’s so close to everything we wanted. Breakfast was very nice too! I enjoyed all the facilities available. Again staff were great and that’s what makes it just as memorable!

Overall it was very good. Please with the room, the SPA was great and all the staff were very polite and professional. Only negative was the dinner we had. We had to wait far too long for our starter - Prawn bruschetta. Which was really very plain and lacking any sort of flavour. Than after being sat down for almost 90 minutes, our main turned up. We paid £80 for the cote de boeuf. After asking for it to be cooked medium rare, it turned up medium well done - and really dry. So bad in fact, that we had to send it back as it just wasn't acceptable. We were not the only table either with this issue.
