The staff were amazing and so friendly; they made our stay for our wedding anniversary so memorable. The hotel is in a great central location to all the local attractions and amenities. The only slight downsides were; the matress was really firm/hard and there is no parking at the hotel with the long stay car park being a 5 minute walk but other than that it was fantastic. I would definitely stay again.

It’s a new hotel in Central Bath. There’s a cafe & the staff were friendly. But the room was a windowless box, bed one end and bathroom. There was a peg for hanging 1 towel & 4 screws on the wall to hang clothes. There was no chair. The room had no character or charm, it’s to sleep & leave. .

It was a nice hotel, location was perfect the only thing i can mention is that i wish there was a carpark for hotel or in nearest to it than the Charlotte street one. Which is for those who travel without car is a good option. The other thing i would love to have is that i wished i could have opened the window for fresh air. Though there was a good aircon. Every thing was fantastic and we enjoyed it so much.

At first you may question if you are in the right spot, but believe me, you are. The Z Hotel Bath is one of those standout hotels because they incorporate electronic features throughout the hotel while still maintaining the historical beauty of the hotel and having interesting rooms. True, the rooms are very small, but they use the space wisely. My only displeasure is that I like bathroom privacy and there was none of that. The walls are made of almost completely fogged glass and no sound proofing. That said, I would absolutely stay here again because Z Hotel is perfectly situated, and the people are so incredibly nice and professional. You can drop off your bags before check-in and go enjoy the city. You are right in the heart of Bath. The playhouse is across the street. They hotel has a bar and snacks (maybe even meals) in the lobby, but there are numerous restaurants and pubs minutes away. The Roman Baths are barely five minutes away. Loved this hotel.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Bath, easily accessible (once found, it’s tucked in the corner of a pedestrian square) and super friendly staff - if you become a member there’s free treats - but do so in advance, you can’t join once you are there!

The hotel is EXTREMELY difficult to find and access. It is on a street that is shut down each and every day from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, causing you to drag your luggage from a parking lot blocks away. The room was tiny, barely two people fit. My husband - literally - had to put his shoes on while sitting on the toilet. There wasn’t any space for our 2 carry on suitcases. We were constantly having to step over them. I will say that the service was excellent but we have never been in such a small room or had to deal with such frustrating access.

Great location...room very small but ok for 1 night. I would recommend a window room however air con was fab. Our room wasn't the cleanest, if you like a spotless room. Also our room was not ready on check in so we had to wait. We did not arrive till after 15pm. It was fine for a 1 night stay but there could be some improvements.

On arrival we loved this hotel. Staff friendly & helpful. The room was great & very clean and cleverly designed & laid out for a small space. We were really impressed until we went to bed! We had an awful nights sleep on a very hard mattress, which is such a shame as it has changed our opinion on the hotel. On check out I mentioned it to the lady at the desk & I am obviously not the first person to complain about the uncomfortable bed. On my next stay she said to let them know & they will put a mattress topper on! I would recommend this hotel as I think it is in a great location & is clean & well appointed. Such a shame that the mattress situation has left me feeling like I have pulled an all nighter! Obviously sleep is a huge part of the stay. I may give it another go but will definitely be asking for a mattress topper!

Beds were NOT walk-around, with the long side of the queen up against the wall. This made it damned difficult for a couple of 74-year olds, having to crawl over the other in the middle of the night. That should somehow be indicated.

This place is a great deal for the center of Bath, very well located. The rooms are ultra small and offer no privacy with another person in the room. So, when the toilet is used, everything can be heard. If you plan to use this place just for sleeping, it's perfect. Just be really comfortable with your roommate if you have one.

The hotel honestly exceeded my expectations, given the good price. Despite being on a busy square the room was quiet. Not a huge room but big enough for my needs with a queen bed and great view of a historical building. Staff was friendly and helpful, check in and out was streamlined. No issues, would stay again!

Felt like 2nd class citizens as we had used hotels.com voucher our kids had bought us to book, constantly asked were we a Z hotelmember by staff. It was our 2nd stay at hotel , we had stayed when it first opened and showed r loyalty by returning, when we first stayed had been given cheese and wine in the evening which was lovely. Not entitled to this service this time as we hadn't booked direct with hotel, very disappointed being made feel like people in the cheap seats!!

The hotel is perfectly located for both the Theatre Royal and Ustinov Theatre as you can walk to either in about thirty seconds! There are also numerous bars, coffee shops and restaurants in the immediate area. Despite being centrally located, I didn't hear any noise from outside at all. My room was quite compact but very comfortable, the shower was great as was the bed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The nearest car park is an eleven minute walk away, which of course the hotel can't do anything about. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

I can't walk and went with crutches, and the staff was super helpful and nice throughout all my stay. Lucky the hotel has a handicap room that made things effortless for me. I was truly impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. One of them walked a few blocks out of the hotel with my suitcase so a car could pick me up.

A great spot to stay in the center of Bath. Easy to get to everything in the city center. This hotel features small, pod like rooms. However, the comfort, cleanliness, newness and well thought out details and design make it terrific. I suggest prepayment of breakfast. It is also very quiet with great mattresses. The staff, but for a shift, were happy to serve. Accommodating.

Our first stay in a Z Hotel and it greatly exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and well equipped - thank you for the larger than normal coffee cups in the room! Complimentary cheese and crackers in the afternoon (lovely!) and we had an inexpensive but really lovely breakfast at the hotel the next morning. Customer service was exceptional.

We booked 2 rooms and chose this hotel for the air conditioning since the forecast was 90 degrees. One of the rooms a/c worked brilliantly but the other did not. Overall the staff were very kind and brought an extra fan to the room. Hotel is in a great location! Wine and cheese happy hour was a very nice touch and very good. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the beds are very hard but we were happy to be there for our short stay due to the other benefits.
