Super 8 by Wyndham Alexandria LA

Very clean inside and out. Swimming pool nice. Drink machine in the hall way out of order. Main bathroom out of order.

Good stay. Nice pool. Decent breakfast. Better than the LaQuinta where we had stayed in Alexandria four days earlier ( which was awful and cost more).

Clean. I’m thinking it’s probably best Alexandria has to offer. Good for just an overnight sleep. No frills, no extras. Just somewhere to sleep. For the bigger families- there is no foldout couch, but we knew that going in.

Safe, Comfortable,Quiet, the pool is clean and family friendly. Nice breakfast provided by hotel.

Water was hot but could have been hotter. Towels were small. Room was clean. Bed was clean. Security cameras were very present. It was quiet. Hard to beat for the money.

I usually don’t leave reviews on hotels but wanted to for this one. It is newly remolded. Everything very clean and updated. Nice floors. Allows pets. And I love that this is a family owned hotel that you can clearly see works hard to live the American dream. Thank y’all for giving great services and offers very affordable rates! I was not let down. I would stay again.

Clean rooms, easy parking, and nice staff

This property has been recently remodeled in the last 14 months. The floors are all LVP, easy clean and pleasing to the eye. I had a great King bed, they are on steel frames. The room was large with plenty of room for my needs. I have 2 smaller dogs, and kennels for them. The shower was immediately hot, and the complete remodel makes a difference. Dislike No closet, and breakfast was meager fare. The staff, however, are super nice and helpful. Really good hot coffee though, and that's a critical need.

Great clean hotel with plenty of parking.

I have stayed several times here and never again!!!!! The floor we were place on reeked of week and I was basically told too bad! He did put an ozone filter thing in the hall. Ac totally turned off knowing I was checking in. When I opened my door to check out, a roach walked right into my room.

The amenities offered were nice, the hotel seemed clean in general, the staff was courteous and helpful. However, there was a major issue with the door to my room - a half inch gap along the strike side of the jamb and at least a 3/8 of a gap all the way around, letting in odors, noise and esp light from the hallway all night long. I could actually see through to the hall. I was unsure if the deadbolt was truly engaging & if the security arm worked; there was no diagram. When I checked in at 5:00 p.m., the hallway was trashed and smelled of unpleasant food odors. There was cleaning staff on the floor and they were working on a room when I arrived. A little bit later I heard them vacuuming the hall. This seemed rather late to me, considering check-in is at 3:00 p.m., and areas should have been already cleaned. When I returned to the hotel at 9:00 p.m., there were several bags of food containers in the hallway that were foul. These were still not removed before I left at 10:00 a.m. The room could have been very nice, but there were issues, primarily with preparation. I do not believe the tub was cleaned. None of the normal hotel info was present in the room, as if it had been removed, and there were several items left in the room from a previous guest, as if the cleaning was hurried. There were no regular coffee packets, and in my opinion, the coffee brand for the room, as well as the coffee made for the continental breakfast, were extremely poor quality, undrinkable.

My stay at the Super 8 was wonderful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It conveniently had a microwave and refrigerator. The only issue was the shower water could’ve been more hotter. I would definitely stay there again

Hotel was good, but the breakfast was sparse. Although the room was clean, it wouldn't hurt to have someone go in to clean the corners and areas that might get missed by the regular cleaners

Alexandria Super 8 is regular stop for me. It is always clean. Staff is helpful. It is located close all the major highways, resturants, and recreation.

This hotel is average but the AC fan has been permanently set to low to save energy.

This is a newer building. All was good except the room did not have a closet or anyway to hang clothes.

Doors shutting very loud throughout night. Hard to sleep

I honestly did not have high hopes but I was honestly surprised. The hotel has been renovated and so the rooms were very clean and a very modern minimalistic decor, which was simple but it had everything we needed. I wish they had the streaming service to stream Netflix. There was no closet but there was a dresser to put our things. The breakfast was not the best, just your average waffle maker, some coffee, some yogurt, and some apple/orange juice. It's not located in a nice area but within two minutes you're in the main street with different options for grocery stores or restaurants.

Check in was quick. Attendant was helpful and friendly. Frige in the room was noisy. Had to turn it off to sleep. Overall good value for a short stay.

The room was clean, & there were lots of towels. There was cable tv, but there wasn’t a channel guide! So I spent about 30 minutes looking for something to watch. Then I had to write down the channel names & numbers so I wouldn’t forget. Also, I was traveling alone & woke to someone snoring about 1:15 a.m. I turned on the lights & looked around the room; I finally realized that I could here the person next door snoring through the walls.

The room had no place to store clothing. There are no dresser or closet. There was no clothes iron. The free breakfast consisted of coffee and a waffle. Went to Cracker Barrel 3 miles away. Had people yelling in the hallway at 2am. Won't be staying at this facility again

Overall, we had a fine stay. When we got there, we waited more than five minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check in. The sink was slow to drain, but they sent someone that made it a little better. It was on the list to take care of when we left. The bed is firm and there was a lot of light coming into the room.There’s nothing around the hotel so you have to drive to go eat or do anything. However, they have done a good job and all the renovations and the staff we dealt with were friendly. It was a good clean low budget hotel.

The desk was very nice and even let me stay for a little late check out to wait on my daughter because she was testing in the area.

The staff is amazing. Check in is quick. We’ve never had any issues. If we needed extra towels or anything, they were quick to get them for us. This will always be our place to stay when in Alexandria.

The front desk was very personable and helpful. Our tv remote didnt work and he replaced it with one that did work immediately. The only other negative was the refrigerator doesnt work. We will let the front desk know in the morning. Other than that, this is a very clean comfortable room.

Was told one price on phone, then manager said they told me wrong it was more, had to stay had to go to a funeral, then no water pressure, couldn’t shower, no cereal for breakfast only sweets, people hanging around in parking lot, not safe feeling, awful place

Wild activities going on in and around people just hanging out front and in back as you drove in. I parked next to a girl sleeping in her car out front. Just super sketch and they came in our room at 9am trying to clean... Giving hair cuts at the entry at 11:30pm...

The Alexandria Super 8 is master gem for lodging. Tbe staff is very helpful. The location is perfect for easy access of interstate and federal highways. Is very convenient to the shopping, cultural, business sectors also. You cannot beat Super 8 Alexandria.

I chose the Super 8 because reviews indicated the rooms were updated and clean. I found this to be true. Included breakfast was very sparse with limited choices. I would stay here again.

Breakfast was non existent. At 6:30 only coffee was available. I came back and nothing was out It’s alright not to do breakfast at all , but your guest were expecting it.

Decent hotel for the price. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There was a basic gym which was pretty decent. Room did not have an iron or ironing board. Breakfast options were very limited. Waffles, muffins, and yogurt were the only things available.

Very clean hotel with nice staff. Our room was nice and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and it was nice to also have a love seat in the room with a microwave and fridge. The area around the hotel does not have much to offer, but we were just there for one night and were able to make the short drive to our dining destination. The breakfast in the morning is very minimal with yogurt, muffins and a waffle maker along with some juices.

Worst breakfast Noisy room because of doors slamming all night

Clean yes, bed comfortable, no bugs. Needs refurb for bathroom and the kitchenette had no utensils, no cups, no plates, no pans. Nothing. Breakfast was waffles and very small yogurts. Coffee, OJ. That’s it. Room was steamy hot took about 6 hours to finally cool down to 70.

Customer service at check-in was very good. The bathrooms could have been a little more updated. The continental breakfast was awful. Only thing out. There was waffles, coffee and orange juice. I asked the girl at the desk if that was all there was two the continental breakfast, she replied, yes. I didn’t ask if she could restock. She brought out one sausage biscuit one package burrito with egg and a few muffins.
