This is a hotel that's really struggling; no AC in the halls, a van driver who can't take folks to the airport at 9:00 AM, because he's also the guy who has to prepare, monitor and clean the lobby breakfast. We couldn't leave till 9:15 and people were getting antsy, but it wasn't his fault. They are pretty understaffed. I tipped the front desk staff because they were always kind and very helpful during my stay. I'm sure they hear a lot of complaints from the guests but they always had a smile and were eager to help.

Elevators were down (had to use stairs). The fitness center has had all weights removed, so only had cardio equipment basically. The air must have gone out in the lobby, because at breakfast, they had box fans out and we were sweating. We went downstairs to get a couple of towels to dry off, and all they had were wash cloths. Also, they stocked the bathroom with 1 tiny bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. No other soap to wash hands and/or bathe with. Sure, we could've probably gone and requested more, but who wants to do that after you've had a long day in the heat, and just want a shower. Overall, not a great experience at all. And P.S., we had others in our group that stayed in other rooms, and they shared some of the same complaints. To be fair though, the location is not bad and the hotel is not "filthy" or anything, so it certainly has much potential. If I see/or hear they straighten up a few things, I would certainly give them another shot if/when I'm in the area again.

This property is in terrible condition. The card system was malfunctioning (notices were posted) and this meant that the doors to the building itself remained unlocked and the building accessible unless the person entering or leaving made a intentional effort to close/lock the door. The room doors were the same; they did not self-lock. The fixture in the bathroom sink was coming apart and it was very difficult to use the sink. The staff was very nice, however.

Then, that someone had checked into my room already.After 20 min I was given a room that was not my original room. The lady was rude and raised her voice at me more than once. The staff and check in and check out was excellent -- everyone was very friendly and competent. Unfortunately, the room was not so good. Pro -- it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Cons -- it was not clean. There was used soap in the bathtub, the floor was slick and greasy, and the drain fitting was missing (there was an actual hole in the bathtub.) There weren't many towels and some didn't look clean. There was missing molding on the bottom of the dresser and some rust on metal fixtures. The bathtub also didn't look clean. We didn't use it. The room smelled damp and yucky. We told the staff they probably need to take the room out of rotation until some repairs are made. At breakfast there were no forks and we were told the supplier had not delivered any. Waffles were good, though -- we ate them with a spoon. But kudos to the staff -- no problems there.

The bed was clean and comfortable. The scent in the room was very off putting. There was a drip stain down the wall coming from an old vent. The shower was not clean around the edges. There was no shampoo or conditioner and the only soap/body wash was a third of a bottle of used Dove body wash - set next to the sink like it was purposefully left there by staff. People were obviously smoking in there rooms with their doors open to the hallway. Very noisy slamming doors all night.

The overall expectations weren't high to start with. But when you walk in ya room a paint is literally peeling off and splotchy. The beds are full size not queen and the pillows are small.. it's kinda like you want to be a big dawg hotel but you still don't wanna spend money to get it where it needs to be.... I'm pretty sure I know who owns this hotel based on how many corners were cut.... However the staff was very friendly and nice... The front desk was helpful as much as they could be... But the owners definitely have limited this locations success potential..

This hotel really needs a paint job inside - room doors are peeling paint with scratches It’s really beginning to show age . Our bathroom door had paint chips falling off with grimy dirt and handprints all over Breakfast was Really lacking - eggs were cold and rubbery and sausage gravy was more like glue. Also kids enjoy a juice at breakfast not ice water ! We left and went to McDonald’s. We travel to Alexandria. 4-5 times a year we we will stay elsewhere in the future .!

Some of the staff were nice, the first staff member who checked us in was very nice and helpful. Some miscommunication on getting a ride back to the hotel from the airport after we dropped off our rental car. When we got back the driver told us to let the front desk know we needed a ride to the airport, so we told the staff member( a different one than the one who checked us in, and she said we didn’t need to have it written down it’s as a needed basis. So in the morning, the staff member who I believe was a manager, actually went above and beyond and took us to the airport, she was great, super nice. The room itself was okay, we had a handicap room and the bathtub had a low drip and there were rust stains in the tub. And the faucet part didn’t turn off all the way, hence the water leak and I had to turn it this way and that way to find and het hot water and even when I found the right spot the water wasn’t very hot. But the room was clean, would I stay there again, I would give it another chance but maybe a regular room to see if it’s an improvement.

The check in receptionist was rude and horrible. She was on her phone, I didn’t get a welcome. I walked in she frowned and just looked at me when I told her I was picking up my keys the 3rd time of me saying it. She then found my papers circled 3 places and turned the paper to me, still not talking. She then put my keys on the counter. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and we came from VA, a 15 hour drive to a rude and nasty attitude receptionist.

the front desk worker was by far the rudest i have ever encountered, filled with attitude and no real care for their job/guests staying at the hotel. i definitely won’t be back and i am in this area very often. i am appalled at how i was treated and how much i spent. other than that room was nice but the front desk worker wouldn’t give us working keys either so couldn’t leave the room.

Decent hotel for the price. Night shift staff nice, morning staff very rude and unhelpful. When I went to check out the front desk clerk was eating breakfast at the counter. When I walked up she walked off. When she came back a few minutes later she watched videos on her phone during our conversation. She refused to print out a receipt. Obviously doesn't want to be there. So if you are okay with a clean and cost effective hotel that is easy to get to? Perfect. If you want someone to check you out in the morning without an attitude? Go elsewhere.

This property I would rate a 3.5 out of 5! The staff was super friendly and helpful! The property itself could you a few minor repairs and cosmetics to become a really nice hotel. There was a side entrance that looked as if it had been damaged and never repaired. The door was always open causing a concern for safety in my opinion. The location is good, I was about 5-7 minutes from my destination. There was no vent in the bathroom and the room itself had several damaged parts and the tv and remote didn’t work properly. The room itself, however, was clean and the beds slept good. Overall my stay was enjoyable!

Limited food options, the continental breakfast was not eatable, scrambled eggs dried out on top floating in greazy oily water, what passed for sausage patties were dried out looking like a fast case of food poisoning. That buffet was in a state of clearly no one giving a care about it or its quality. Electric Fans around the lobbly a sure indicator the AC was non functioning. The dirt foot prints all over the lobby at checkin were gone in the moring so that was a plus.

My experience here was a complete disaster from check-in to early morning, marked by deceptive pricing, gross lack of sanitation, and an abandoned front desk. Please read further. Deceptive Fees & Poor Check-In Experience I arrived recently after 5 PM with a prepaid reservation through Hotels.com. The daytime receptionist, Naj, informed me I had to pay an additional, undisclosed $100 room deposit charge on my credit card to check in. I agreed because what was I to do, I had already prepaid for the room. When I asked for a receipt for this transaction, she refused, claiming her system could not generate one. Checking my banking app later, I saw the pending charge with no explanation provided. Naj said they would sit on my [and many other folks’] money for seven days before refunding. Unsanitary Room Conditions The first room I was assigned was disgusting. There was a large, obvious blue stain on the comforter. When I took photos to show Naj to ensure my deposit wouldn't be wrongfully withheld, she dismissed it, bizarrely claiming stains are "acceptable if they are under a certain size." Upon returning to the room to pull back the sheets, I discovered a large, dried urine stain on the bedding. The sheets had clearly not been changed. Disgusting! How do you run out of towels… they didn’t have an answer either. Or getting room cleaned… this place was bad. Don’t stay here. The door was broken too. I get it, it was cheap but man, trust me. DONT STAY HERE!
