The hotel overall was great, however, the breakfast was horrible! They charge $12.95 for what you would get free at other hotels. The charge would have been fine if the food was edible. Also, the ONLY ice machine was on the 7th floor. Very inconvenient!!

We liked the cleanliness, but the toilet gave us issue and the shower being backward was weird and the water pressure was low. No crib being available and the pool being closed the entire stay was inconvenient.

We chose this hotel because it seemed like the best choice in the area. It’s a little run down but that would be ok except the pool was closed. I came here with my daughter after dropping my son at camp with the idea of hanging out together at the pool for the evening On check in I was told the pool was closed because it rained yesterday and it needed to be cleaned. It rains everyday so if that’s the case it will never be open. Too late to cancel. Later I looked at some reviews on a couple of different sites and found people complaining about the pool closure since the beginning of July. So the whole rain excuse is a lie. The pool is just closed. Also the “restaurant” is just a sandwich shop. This hotel is falsely advertising their amenities and I definitely would not have stayed here had I known of the pool closure and restaurant. Also the AC unit in the room is obnoxiously loud

The pool was closed during our stay. The sign said “closed for maintenance,” but it was completely green, and no one attempted to clean or repair it the entire time we were there. It looks like they simply shut it down for the season, which is fine, but they should not advertise a pool if it’s unusable. The halls, elevator, and rooms all had a noticeable odor that seemed to be masked with air freshener, but the only real solution would be carpet cleaning and thorough sanitizing. Breakfast was also disappointing. At over $14 per person after tax, I expected a higher-quality spread. Instead, it was the same basic options many hotels include for free—powdered eggs, grits, and a few standard items—with no waffle maker or other upgrades. Finally, the check-in experience was uncomfortable. Several staff members were sitting in the lobby having a loud conversation about drug use and addiction. Regardless of whether they were off the clock, that type of discussion in front of guests is unprofessional and off-putting.

Good beds, clean, comfortable good nights sleep. If you like a dark room, this isn't the place for you. Really bright outside and no recess for the curtains. The breakfast was pretty cold and mediocre at best; not worth the extra charge. All staff was really nice and very accommodating. We had considered going in the pool but it was very dirty and had a lot of black dirt at the bottom.

Unfortunately the property is not well kept. The lobby looks great but then when we headed up to our room on the 4th floor, as soon as I got off the elevator they had a very strong scented air freshener. I wondered why, when I got into my room, the smell of the moisture in the room was evident. The bathroom did not have a vent and so the steam of showers just lingers in the room and the sheets smelled funny too. I had taken some documents with me and when I picked them up the next day, the documents felt flimsy like the paper had soaked up the moisture in the room. I only stayed two days and for the most part we were not in the room too much but I honestly did not want to be there. The bathroom wasn't very clean when we got there and due to the moisture issue, things were rusting a bit, like the towel holders and the shower door. The last day as I was packing and picking up, I realized that it looked like they had not vacuumed that room in quite a while, there were pieces of old chips, nail clippings, and pieces of old candy. I have to head to LA once a month and I've stayed in quite a few hotels but unfortunately, I will not be staying in this one again.

When I was walking into the hotel the entrance was covered in some type of liquid. When I entered the lobby the floor was filthy. It looked like it had not been mopped in ages. When I left in the morning broken glass was allover the outside entrance. The staff was friendly.

The room was ok at best, the plugs attached to the nightstand were falling out the wall or would practically be hanging out of said wall. The furniture was definitely well worn, and the bed was pretty uncomfortable, felt like I was sleeping on a curved arch, not a very fun experience. Also there is nothing slowing all the doors from shutting so constant loud door slams are the norm when you’re trying to sleep. The building is just really well worn and definitely could use a SERIOUS face lift. But it was like I said, ok at best. The staff however was amazing and is the only reason my review is at 3 stars. They we phenomenal

We complained 3 times because two of the table lamps did not work. They had the tv set so you could not turn the Sound up. You had to sit within 3-4 feet to hear it. The bed was hard as a child OKC. I heard that same complaint from numerous people.

Staff was nice. Room was adequate. Biggest issue was the airconditioner. When only the fan was on, it whistled loudly. When the a/c kicked in, it sounded like a 777 taking off. It was so loud that I had difficulty sleeping. I listened as I walked from room to elevator and it seems this is a common issue with every unit and not just mine.

1st room smelled of smoke so bad they moved us. Rooms are clean but dated. It is about the same as any other hotel around here book on location and price not brand. The breakfast was embarrassingly bad; bugs on the counter and no one to help get plates one had to go behind the counter to the dishwasher. It was what we needed for the night and conveniently located.

AC stuck on very cold setting. AC cover off settings loose and unattached. TV remote didn’t work. Had to be replaced. Camode seat wouldn’t stay up. Flopped down.

Well outside of the sassy, unhelpful and very sarcastic day time desk clerk who lied about switching bookings in order to pay online. I was also lied to about breakfast being complimentary upon check-in. Only sleep extra thinking breakfast was at the hotel. Wake up go down fix plates and be told AFTER fixing plates that it was not for every guest and I would have to pay. The clerk on check-in said it was complimentary. On top of ALLLL that the room was semi dirty, dirty toilet seat and water, and shower floor. The water pressure was NON EXISTENT... Not what you want when coming in from being at the park all day... Can't even enjoy a good shower!

I had absolutely the worst experience checking in and during my stay with the gentleman at the front desk working the weekend. He was rude. A mistake was made with my reservation, no fault of mine. He would announce to everyone in line that due to me there would be a 10-15 minute wait. Then he kept announcing how much extra I was being charged due to the error. He is terrible and unsympathetic to the needs of people staying. I spent $700 for 4 nights. I’m a travel nurse and only needed to sleep during the day and actually left a day early. My shower had hair in it that was not mine. Maids slammed the door in and out of each room every time they needed something off the cart. I’ve never experienced such rudeness and uncaring staff before. I tried to calling and asking for manager and the man at the desk, same rude one said, they are unavailable. He refused to let foot dash deliver my food. I was showered and in my pjs. Worst stay EVER, ANYWHERE

Overall, this is one of the easiest properties we have stayed on. It was very easy to park and get her stuff down from our car mainly because there was a lot of carts available, and it was easy access to the front desk, to the elevator, and then to our room. Also, it was very easy to get to the conference on the other side of the hotel, which was very convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn.
Overall, this is one of the easiest properties we have stayed on. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our tv in our room did not work, and the bathroom had discolored Sheetrock patches. We went downstairs for breakfast, and that was our biggest disappointment. The one guy working at the breakfast buffet was rude, and of no help at all. He was sure to constantly remind everyone that he was by himself and had no help. I could understand, except that it was not busy. The customers were trying to help each other because the employee would not.

The pool was closed during our stay. The sign said “closed for maintenance,” but it was completely green, and no one attempted to clean or repair it the entire time we were there. It looks like they simply shut it down for the season, which is fine, but they should not advertise a pool if it’s unusable. It was August, still in the 90s, and we had been looking forward to using it. The property itself needs a professional deep clean. The halls, elevator, and rooms all had a noticeable odor that seemed to be masked with air freshener, but the only real solution would be carpet cleaning and thorough sanitizing. Breakfast was also disappointing. At over $14 per person after tax, I expected a higher-quality spread. Instead, it was the same basic options many hotels include for free—powdered eggs, grits, and a few standard items—with no waffle maker or other upgrades. Finally, the check-in experience was uncomfortable. Several staff members were sitting in the lobby having a loud conversation about drug use and addiction. Regardless of whether they were off the clock, that type of discussion in front of guests is unprofessional and off-putting.

1st room smelled of smoke so bad they moved us. Rooms are clean but dated. It is about the same as any other hotel around here book on location and price not brand. The breakfast was embarrassingly bad; bugs on the counter and no one to help get plates one had to go behind the counter to the dishwasher. It was what we needed for the night and conveniently located.

There was only 1 working elevator when we arrived and on our last day there were no working elevators. We had to carry all of our belongings down 7 flights of stairs. Also, on the first night of our stay the toilet wouldn't flush. We called the front desk and they did send someone up to repair it.
