This is not a hotel to stay at for business. There is no business area. I needed something printed and the manager did the first day and the second the person on duty could not print. I stayed for 8 nights. All the ice machines were broken the entire time. If you need ice then you have to go to the manager and ask for it I wanted to order breakfast one morning and they said they didn’t have the staff that day. The walls are paper thin. You hear everything. I was lucky enough to be placed outside the hotel housekeeping so they opened and shut the door starting at 3:00. There is no microwave in the room. My first day I went in the safe and the former guest shoved pants shirt and dirty socks with grass on them. Went to front desk to tell them and they didn’t pick it up until the next day.

What a special experience! Beautiful boutique hotel with an excellent staff. The high point was having dinner and briefly enjoying the rooftop bar (it was a little cold). The food was outstanding. The chef came to the table to check on the items as did the owner/manager (not 100% certain) Christina. She is a lovely person and very gracious. I intend on staying here again when needed - new favorite spot.

Great family friendly staff feel. Had a small issue and it was handled immediately. Great rooms with updated decor along with room service and an outdoor rooftop restaurant and bar open till 10pm. Great stay.

My fiancée and I booked two nights at this hotel and added a $175 romance package, which turned out to be a $6 bottle of champagne, two small flutes with a tiny strawberry slice, and fake rose petals on the bed — not worth the price. The ice machines on the 4th and 5th floors were broken, and the front desk staff found it amusing that they hadn’t been fixed in a while. While the room was clean and smelled nice, the overpriced mini bar and overall experience were disappointing, especially for what was supposed to be a romantic weekend.

INCREDIBLE! Fair price with optional extra amenities like the rooftop bar. Great service! New and updated fixtures with clean, luxurious rooms! My only complaints are constructive feedback as a pet owner: there are no outside trash cans and only one door (main lobby) for guests to enter the building. The pet fee is on the high end ($75) but extremely reasonable for such a wonderful hotel. Trash cans and a side door would make it perfect!

The hotel room is nice. Unfortunately there was nowhere to grab a bite. I was told the restaurant was closed for renovations I asked one of the employees where I can get something to eat and the answer was try and see if there is something across the street. The amenities in the room were used with empty gel bottle and the body cream had greasy fingerprints on it

The hotel is beautiful the staff was nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the entire place was very clean. I love that they operable windows in the rooms. The terrace was just as nice as the hotel with a beautiful view of sunset during happy hour. The artwork was great! The lobby is swoon worthy and the hotel is quiet. It’s in close proximity to the mall which is a plus! A fantastic Chicago suburb stay!

Room was asthetically beautiful. However the cleanliness could’ve been a bit better. The window sill had a few dead insects, the bathroom had some hair on the floor and in the shower. Also we were inconveniently placed on the second floor above the ballroom and a wedding reception was going on til after midnight. We heard every song, all the bass and the DJ. We heard guests around us and above us slamming doors and walking loudly about at 2am. We came for a mini staycation for our anniversary and the lack of rest we were able to get was disappointing. I did let the front desk know about this twice but wasn’t met a resolve. Just an apology and a “the entire hotel is booked” in case I wanted to switch rooms. The next night it was the same thing with a different event. So although this hotel is new and beautiful the walls and floors are SUPER THIN. Do with that information what you will. I heard entire conversations smh.

This is a newly constructed hotel. The rooms were immaculate and well appointed. It was very quiet. It has very good proximity to O’Hare. The staff were very professional and extremely helpful. The staff made our stay memorable.

Hotel itself was amazing, really pretty and the room was great. A couple considerations though. We could hear every footstep in the room above us. Luckily they weren't there much but when they were walking around it was incredibly loud. The bathroom light was on a timer for 1 minute and there didn't seem to be a way to actually turn it on. So when you were going to the bathroom it would turn off before you got done. And even more so while in the shower and because there was steam on the glass, you had to open the shower door to turn the light back on every minute. Other than that 10/10 haha

This place may look pretty in the photos, but be prepared for an ugly night of non-sleep. Was there for a sleep study prescribed by a nearby hospital. Priority 1a: Quiet. Called the hotel twice during week regarding my reason for the stay. Was assured I would be found a quiet room. Room #1: one could hear the TV blaring through paper-thin wall into the hallway, 2x worse in my room. Room #2: was quiet for 4 hours. Then the party arrived above, the the constant thuds of each step shook the matchstick-thin floors. Asked for another room from the new person at reception. was told that the hotel is full. I showed the hospital equipment, and my calls to the hotel during the week. Receptionist responded, "I'm surprised, because this hotel specializes in events ... few of our rooms are quiet. This is deception. I told the receptionist that I was leaving, and would capture my experiences on consumer forums. At least one of us followed through. I paid $153 to escape this prison called Chez Hotel. This is not really a hotel. Instead, it's a Party City hostel.

The hotel is exactly as pictured, which is very nice. Even though it has new interior and isn’t very old yet, I have to rate 4/5 stars for two reasons: the bathroom has had visible dirt and lint pieces on the floor and could’ve used a little more cleaning but the most important reason was that this hotel has incredibly thin walls. I could hear the neighbours blast their tv on full volume at two in the morning (and I sleep with earplugs!). I could also hear everyone in the hallway, which isn’t really fun when they’re drunk and yelling and you just want to sleep and rest. I wish this hotel had better sound proofing. Regardless it’s not too far from Chicago and a good place to be if you wanna be away from masses of people at the end of the day. Nonetheless I would stay here again if I am ever up in Chicago / Suburbs just because the price and what you get is great. Honestly just get earplugs because the room is luxurious and spacious. Way better than an old Hilton or something. Also I must say all the staff I encountered in the hotel was very accommodating and nice! Parking was easy too.

You certainly don’t get what you pay for at this hotel… but the staff and service was my biggest issue. Fatima at the front desk is rude, judgmental, argumentative, and clearly a little forgetful. We told her at check in we for sure wanted to extend our stay an additional night. She must’ve forgotten all about that conversation because she called us a day earlier than we intended to check out asking us when we planned to leave. I also heard her gossiping about other guests during my stay. Very unprofessional. The room was dusty, and certainly not cleaned as well as you would expect a hotel charging these prices to be cleaned. We found hair around the room and in the shower that definitely wasn’t ours and the water temp in the shower was really unpredictable. I won’t be back, and I don’t recommend staying at this hotel.

The room was dusty, and certainly not cleaned as well as you would expect a hotel charging these prices to be cleaned. We found hair around the room and in the shower that definitely wasn’t ours and the water temp in the shower was really unpredictable. I won’t be back, and I don’t recommend staying at this hotel.

This is an absolute 5 star hotel! One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at and I have stayed at lots of resorts and hotels. The special touches like charger cord if you needed one, loufa in the shower, house shoes, umbrella if you needed it, chocolates on the night stand. Very very clean, quiet safe area, friendly and helpful staff, I liked that no one could go to our hallway without a key card.

Staff crowded together and chat in the lobby while phone line was busy. Lack of basic hospitality. Three star hotel it is. Flooring is constructed with poor material. Constant noise from floor up and pretty sure the floor below mine must saying the same to me. Super passive agreesive attitude from the male staff with nose piercing showed that the lack of hospitality standard.

Stayed a few nights. 2nd night was terrible and toilet was broken, ac didn’t work, and found out that room wasn’t supposed to be taken because of these issues. Owner said she would comp us a room the following night and we checked in again. 7 hours later they call asking if they can charge my card because it was a mistake and she meant to only give me a 10% discount… I gave them the keys and we went and paid money to another hotel because i disagree with doing business with people like that. First night was great but after that experience, I’ll never go back.

This is a newly constructed hotel. The rooms were immaculate and well appointed. It was very quiet. It has very good proximity to O’Hare. The staff were very professional and extremely helpful. The staff made our stay memorable.

The terrace was just as nice as the hotel with a beautiful view of sunset during happy hour. The artwork was great! The lobby is swoon worthy and the hotel is quiet. It’s in close proximity to the mall which is a plus! A fantastic Chicago suburb stay!

Drove up with my spouse and dog from Virginia to spend a few days with my mom who lives in the local area. Place used to be called European Crystal and apparently rebranded to Chez. Don’t know how it was before, but this place is pretty nice now. Folks were all friendly and rooms very comfortable. Huuuuge TVs on the walls, but the walls themselves were kinda thin. Noise does transfer, for sure. Beds are comfy. Rooms were clean. Towels and toiletries were nice. All in all, a great place and an unexpected find there in the ‘burbs. We didn’t spend any time on the rooftop bar, so can’t speak to that. Price seemed to be on par with other hotels in the area, and we’ve stayed at several competitors over the years. But I think we get more for our money here. Bottom line? Yes, we’d return here again.

The hotel is exactly as pictured, which is very nice. Even though it has new interior and isn’t very old yet, I have to rate 4/5 stars for two reasons: the bathroom has had visible dirt and lint pieces on the floor and could’ve used a little more cleaning but the most important reason was that this hotel has incredibly thin walls. I could hear the neighbours blast their tv on full volume at two in the morning (and I sleep with earplugs!). I could also hear everyone in the hallway, which isn’t really fun when they’re drunk and yelling and you just want to sleep and rest. I wish this hotel had better sound proofing. Regardless it’s not too far from Chicago and a good place to be if you wanna be away from masses of people at the end of the day. Nonetheless I would stay here again if I am ever up in Chicago / Suburbs just because the price and what you get is great. Honestly just get earplugs because the room is luxurious and spacious. Way better than an old Hilton or something. Also I must say all the staff I encountered in the hotel was very accommodating and nice! Parking was easy too.

What a special experience! Beautiful boutique hotel with an excellent staff. The high point was having dinner and briefly enjoying the rooftop bar (it was a little cold). The food was outstanding. The chef came to the table to check on the items as did the owner/manager (not 100% certain) Christina. She is a lovely person and very gracious. I intend on staying here again when needed - new favorite spot.

I would not chose to stay here again because of this simple lack of option.

The hotel was really nice and beautiful, the only issue I have with the hotel is that my first night was the ruined, because the air condition was not working correctly which made my room was extremely hot.Sleeping to be non-existing. There are no microwaves in your room so make sure anything you have to eat doesn't need to be warmed up. Everything in your room cost money so do not touch. they have a price list up and the price list for the drinks in the rooms are ridiculous. But the hotel was in a nice safe area and very beautiful staff was very respectful professional and on their jobs.
