Staff is very unprofessional and always arguing with each other not to mention rude to guest. Not just us but also someone who called from their room to complain about added fees never mentioned to them. Checking in, and 3 different extra fees that weren't mentioned online, had to be paid up front. The room was semi clean. Fake finger nail on the floor and hair in the shower where the only complaints we had about the cleanliness. Bed was hard and one side had a pretty big dip in it. The smoke detector was taken off three wall from above the bed... all in all, we were more than ready to get home.

Do not book! No wifi as advertised. Our room was not non-smoking as booked. Not even a hairdryer in the room much less shampoo or basic amenities. No vending machines as advertised and zero ice machine either. We were greeted with a metal gate locking the checkin desk even though we were told they’d be there to ch CK us in. After calling the cell phone number on the listed “call for service” sign help did arrive. We were handed keys to a room and when we opened the door a giant dog greeted us and there were clearly people using that room. Our second room was supposedly non-smoking yet it smelled like a 1970’s bar inside. There was hair in the tub and on the toilet and the place was filthy. Only in the morning did we notice the public notices of violation taped to the door of the property and the filth on the hallways and stairwell. The only thing going for this place is the kindness of the staff - they really were sweet and you could tell they knew the place was not in great shape and there wasn’t much they could do about it. One kind gentleman even hunted down a hairdryer for me to use.

They overbooked and we were not able to stay there. We were not notified. We had to drive out of our way from our destination to go to check-in and they didn’t even let us know beforehand definitely not good.

I made reservations more than two weeks in advance through Hotels.com for studio six in North Carmel, Indiana. I received emails that my Confirmation was confirmed for my stay. When we arrived, there were no available rooms for my party of three. We also found out that the studio six had experienced a water shut off just prior to our arrival, they were evicting some people who were staying there, so there were three police cars when we arrived, and when asked about the double rooms they said one of them still needed sheets, but that still had mold so they wouldn’t give us that room after all. We had to scramble and find other arrangements for that night and the next that accepted a pet along with three people. I would not recommend studio six to anyone.

No hot water, which happened the day before I arrived but I was not told. Extra $10 a day charge for housekeeping who never came in my room over my four day stay. Extra $2 a day for utilities yet I didn’t even have access to hot water. Hallways not swept during stay. Some days only one person was working front desk and housekeeping. Will be seeking a refund.
