The property is beautiful! My favorite thing was the golf cart service! You can request a ride anywhere on the property and they would send someone in a golf cart to take you there! This was super helpful when I checked in since my room was pretty far from the lobby. The bar/restaurant staff were super nice! The food was good and the prices were surprisingly decent. (I was expecting hiked up resort prices) I would definitely stay here again!

Nice property. Rooms were large, including bathroom. Nice restaurant at property. Only downside was that parking was limited in front of rooms so had to walk far to get to room most days/nights. Hotel did offer golf cart rides to rooms though.

The property was in a very nice area. We booked a king room but were told there was only two doubles available. We got inconsistent information from the front desk about access to the workout facility voucher (since the gym on site was being renovated). The waitress at the inside bar could have been more attentive the night we were there for a drink (March 25). There was very little check in from her and most of the time no one was behind the bar.

Parking was limited... and sometimes required a long walk. Fitness center was EXCELLENT!. Only negative was the surprise time-share element that was brought up. We politely declined attending the meeting.

Quick trip to visit family, and honestly the stay was too short! Hotel was lovely-a little dated, but so clean and nice. Great pool and spa area. The staff was very kind and accommodating.

We had a very large newly renovated King suite with a full size refrigerator, microwave, dinnerware, cups, glasses, etc. Very large bathroom with 2 sinks, a large shower and jetted tub. The suite also had a sleeper sofa, 2 chairs, a dining table with 4 chairs and safe. The grounds are very well kept with an army of people working all day cleaning up and maintaining the grounds. A nice pool and spa on the grounds also besides being on a nice golf course. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort is a series of buildings some of the rooms have been updated like our's, some have not been. One thing to be aware of, the parking lot only runs along the first couple buildings so it can be a hike down some of the buildings. They do have personnel to give you a ride if you need it. The front desk can also place you in a building close to the parking lot if available.

One of the reasons we booked this place was because the pool area looked nice. We're from MN so having pool time in the winter is a real treat. However, when we checked there was signage that said the pool was closed. This information was NEVER provided - not on the Hotels.com website or in any communication. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. And by the look for project it had been going on for a while and it will continue to be that way. Now, I will say the hotel did comp us a night so that was good. But I would have preferred to have not booked this place and went somewhere that had a pool. The unit itself is large but definitely on the cheaper end. Or maybe our unit hadn't be renovated recently. The bed was comfortable. If space is your thing this place will work well for you. If better quality is also part of the equation it might not. But the lack of truthfulness upfront (when looking for a hotel) is a really bad way to run a business and left us with a poor opinion of this resort's business practices.

The outdoor restaurant was filthy full of bird poop. From top shades, poles, chairs, chair covers, tables, underneath tables - gross. Unsightly. Pool area and surrounding areas were clean. Rooms were immaculate.

This was my second stay. I had a very nice stay the first time in February. This time, I arrived to find a spider on the bed spread. Killed it. Next day I found 2 more baby spiders and a crawly thing came from out from under the bed. I told the gentleman at the desk and his response was “yea, it’s monsoon season. They come in”. Very nonchalant. I live in southern Arizona and I don’t have bugs in my house during monsoon season because I spray to keep them out.

We stayed at this property for 5 nights. Parking is terrible. Not enough parking close to your room. Long walks from parking to room most of the time. They have shuttle to take you to your car but not very convenient. Room floors need cleaned. Right after taking a shower then walking barefoot around the room your feet are black from dirt on floors. I assume they sweep but not mop the engineered hardwood floors. Not a lot of dining onsite, no hot breakfast and food is not available in the bar until 2pm in the afternoon. Mostly finger foods, and sandwiches.

This is a nice value for the money. The room was spacious and clean, with two TVs. The room needs to be updated though: couch and chairs and kitchen and bath cabinets kind of worn out from the 1970s. But spotlessly clean. Big king bed, mattress good. Gorgeous heated outdoor pool!

Good location, but parking was inconvenient. At night it was a very long walk from my car to my accommodation room. Service was good, room was quiet, and condo was very clean and comfortable. There is no stove or oven, which kind of surprised me. Only a toaster and a coffee maker. Staff were polite.

I don’t understand the 9.5 rating I saw for this property. There is a lot of walking on-site as the property is linear and about a half mile long. They offer golf carts, but I don’t want to have staff escort me everywhere. Our room was older and the bedroom couldn’t regulate temp. We saw at checkout that this is a known issue and they offer box fans.

Lindsay at check in was fantastic!! So helpful and friendly!!! We loved her. Room was great, very helpful on anything we needed. Walls are super thin. The people above us were a family and we heard them all night long!!

We had a nice stay here. The room was nice, and spacious and the pool was great. The biggest issue was the internet; I had extended our stay with the plan to be able to work remote…unfortunately the internet was unusable even after paying for the “faster” service. I would not stay here again for a similar trip

Lindsey at the front desk and Seth at Bell service are two of the many superstars who take such great care of me and I've stayed at this place for several years. I think I've been there maybe 20 times. This is a beautiful property with an amazing staff, and I feel safe when I stay there by myself.

Our condo was clean, bright and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the pickup service. Usually, our driver was Gottfried, who was fast, helpful and a good conversationalist. Beautiful golf course as well.

Only bad experience was having excessive charges charged to my credit card. These were called “holds”. They said these holds were company policy. They said I would see these “holds”would be released in 5-7days. I purchased my room on hotel.com in full. Therefore the reason for these holds were unclear and unnecessary in my opinion. Now I have to wait 5-7 days and “hope” my funds are released. For this reason, I would not stay at this property in the future.

Check in was not as smooth as I would like- room wasn’t ready and they left us waiting in the lobby for an hour. Groundskeepers working outside our room (and maybe on roof??)woke us up too early. Room was very nice though and had all the amenities I would expect.

Great location close to every amenity and activity you need. Friendly, accommodating and helpful staff. Lindsay at front desk was wonderful. Very clean BBQs (although only a few on property). Complimentary laundry. Nice pool area with comfy loungers. Very nice sized room with functional kitchenette. Overall very good first stay!

4 night stay for a local conference. Pros: Comfortable Spacious Clean Nice pool Nice area Cons: Long walks to rooms (they do offer golf buggy pick up/drop off but is a faff) Residential area so 40 min walk to shops and restaurants Onsite restaurant is quite basic. Overall it’s nice and was good value for money, just be aware it’s quite isolated (in a nice area mind), and that you may have a long walk to/from rooms.

Great value for money. Beautiful and large rooms. Nice pool, very well maintained facilities. The property is large but there are plenty of staff around to get a ride on a golf cart. Not a very central location so getting around without a car means catching an Uber. Limited dining means you’ll need to visit the supermarket a few minutes away.

Suite was fully-modern, spacious and included full kitchen. Grounds were beautifully kept. Staff super friendly and helpful. The Orange Tree has a really positive vibe. Loved the outdoor spaces. Close to restaurants, groceries and more in the heart of Paradise Valley. Stayed 7 nights. Look forward to a 2nd visit someday.

1. Good location to restaurants/ shopping within a short driving distance. 2. Staff at front desk friendly and helpful. 3. For those going to the Mayo Clinic ( main campus ) just a 12 minute drive. 4. If staying in Buildings 5-8 be aware of a short walk to your room but can be an issue if physically limited. Resort has transportation ( “golf cart” type ) available. 5. In updated room bed was very comfortable.

I'd booked this place to hang out at the pool for a couple of days and order food and drinks while relaxing. They had a very limited restaurant/sports bar (with pretty bad service and not-that-great food) that was about and 10 minute walk to the pool! There was no food or drinks at the pool. Because the food was so bad and we didn't have a car, we tried to order GrubHub or DoorDash and neither would deliver to the resort. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the windows do not open and the blinds in our living room would not open, so it was dark and stuffy. Unfortunately, the lack of amenities and services made our family trip to Arizona a complete waste of time and money. 🙁

Hotel and room was clean and the room was nice. We would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in building 7, close to the pool. The walk to the lobby was about 5-7 minutes, no big deal for us and we had two kids under 2 with us. We wish that there was a stove and a dishwasher but otherwise the room was spacious and the jacuzzi tub was amazing. Only downfalls: the restaurant on site is not great. Lots of fried/unhealthy food options. They offered 3 salads on the menu and rest are burgers, sandwiches with burger meat, etc. The kids menu was chicken strips or grilled cheese…no vegetables or fruit offered for the kids. We ate there as it was on-site but I can’t say it was enjoyable. We used Uber eats to order food as we did not have a vehicle and there is nothing in walking distance around the hotel.

Property and rooms are nice. The bar in the lobby is lousy, too young bartenders who get overwhelmed with more than 2 customers. Cocktails are incredibly expensive and no where on par with the price they are asking… seriously Manhattan level pricing for poorly made drinks. Nice stay, absolutely skip the bar.
