It's a nice quaint hotel. Friendly staff, yummy breakfast and delicious coffee. My room was really small but functional for 1 person. I like the heated floor in the bathroom. It's good for a quick trip.

We had a fabulous stay in Milan at Hotel Ideale. We visited for the Milan Marathon and the location was perfect for walking to the Centre/Duomo and the Castle....all of which are beautiful ❤️ The walk was about half an hour. The hotel, although from the outside looks a bit dated, was as we had expected from other reviews that we had read. The staff were so incredibly friendly, helpful and happy to help with any enquiries and there was always someone on the front desk. Our room was a fair size, very clean, lovely bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and lots of cupboard space and mirrors and plugs for hair drying...there was a hair dryer in the bathroom too. The hotel is on a main road (handy for Ubers which were always available in about 5 minutes) and our room looked out to it but the traffic didn't affect our sleep....we had very busy days so were very tired! The breakfast room again although a bit dated had a fab selection and lots of different croissants and good coffee! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was pleased with our choice of hotel in this beautiful City 😁

It's a great deal if you're looking for an affordable place for a short stay. Staff personnel were amazing and very helpful. Public transportation is another plus. Train station is just 2 blocks away (Dateo station) and there are bus stops on the same block. It took me 15-25 min to get to il Duomo area. I chose a single room so it's small but for the price it was a great deal. The room was clean and well organized. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay at this small hotel.

The rooms are so small, I had to step outside just to change my mind. I’ve seen broom closets with more breathing space. On the bright side (and I do mean the only bright side), the staff is incredibly friendly. Possibly out of sympathy. They greet you with warm smiles, maybe to distract you from the fact that your room is best navigated sideways. Not recommended for the claustrophobic, or anyone over 5’6”, or anyone with luggage larger than a fanny pack. Honestly, if the walls were any closer, we’d be dating. Book at your own risk—unless you’re looking to relive your childhood in a playhouse. A very expensive, airless playhouse.

Negative: very noisy, you'll probably wake up when they prepare the breakfast. Breakfast is ok. The scrambled eggs are cold, but other than that the breakfast is ok. Out of three different receptionists that were working there only one was engaging and helpful. Positive: comfy beds, very fresh bathroom and close to the metro.

Great hotel, wonderful breakfast, public transport at the front of the hotel ( bus 92 to Milano Centrale 10 min ) , nice and helpful staff, good size of the room, with a spacious bathroom. Only thing: pillows too hard for us, and the mattress need to be replaced. Supermarkets around, secure zone to walk at night. Excellent choice to stay at Milan

The shower is extremely small making difficult to take a shower. The air condition does not work in any of the rooms. We couldn’t sleep comfortably because the rooms was too hot. The manager said that he would not call the air condition repairman. Ver disappointed in this hotel.

This is a very basic, not luxury, property, but that staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating during my entire stay. They helped with information, getting a taxi, grabbing a quick espresso before starting out for the day. I highly recommend the place because of the staff. Room was small but comfortable. Great value for the cost.

We had a fabulous stay in Milan at Hotel Ideale. We visited for the Milan Marathon and the location was perfect for walking to the Centre/Duomo and the Castle....all of which are beautiful ❤️ The walk was about half an hour. The hotel, although from the outside looks a bit dated, was as we had expected from other reviews that we had read. The staff were so incredibly friendly, helpful and happy to help with any enquiries and there was always someone on the front desk. Our room was a fair size, very clean, lovely bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and lots of cupboard space and mirrors and plugs for hair drying...there was a hair dryer in the bathroom too. The hotel is on a main road (handy for Ubers which were always available in about 5 minutes) and our room looked out to it but the traffic didn't affect our sleep....we had very busy days so were very tired! The breakfast room again although a bit dated had a fab selection and lots of different croissants and good coffee! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was pleased with our choice of hotel in this beautiful City 😁

Great hotel, wonderful breakfast, public transport at the front of the hotel ( bus 92 to Milano Centrale 10 min ) , nice and helpful staff, good size of the room, with a spacious bathroom. Only thing: pillows too hard for us, and the mattress need to be replaced. Supermarkets around, secure zone to walk at night. Excellent choice to stay at Milan

It's a great deal if you're looking for an affordable place for a short stay. Staff personnel were amazing and very helpful. Public transportation is another plus. Train station is just 2 blocks away (Dateo station) and there are bus stops on the same block. It took me 15-25 min to get to il Duomo area. I chose a single room so it's small but for the price it was a great deal. The room was clean and well organized. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay at this small hotel.

Negative: very noisy, you'll probably wake up when they prepare the breakfast. Breakfast is ok. The scrambled eggs are cold, but other than that the breakfast is ok. Out of three different receptionists that were working there only one was engaging and helpful. Positive: comfy beds, very fresh bathroom and close to the metro.

When I booked our trip I did not realize it was International Design Week so prices in the center city were sky high. So I found this hotel about a mile away. But it's fairly close to a couple of Metro stations. I would describe it as a "budget" hotel in terms of the room size, amenities, and overall condition. However, I will say that the staff were extremely helpful and tried very hard to please us. And the breakfast was exceptional. So although this was not my first, second or third choice, it was still a very nice stay. The only thing I would criticize is the shower in our room; it was one of those quarter-round showers. My wife could not shave her legs. But overall, a nice option.

Breakfast was good and all prices very reasonable. Hotel was also quite and in a safe area. There was underground parking as well but very few spots Overall, a good property if you dont want to pay the high prices in the tourist center. I would rather stay in a quite area and even after paying for taxi to go to the central tourist areas near the Duomo etc would still bring in good savings. Amos pizza across the street was a must for dinner. Excellent food and service at very reasonable prices

The garage door was not maintained it was not suitable for parking an Audi a6 for a full size car. We had to park down the street in underground garage. When we book The hotel we filtered for and cooked breakfast included in parking the breakfast is not included they charge an extra 10 euro per person for coffee and croissants.
