Zel Punta Cana - All Suites - All Inclusive

Our room had a partial pool view. Air conditioner and ceiling fans worked really well did not have a wet smell or mold anywhere. Rooms were nice, well equipped with toiletries, high pressure steamer.ñ and hair dryer. Linens and towels could’ve been a little softer or smoother. Beach towels were fluffier than the ones provided in room. Majority of the staDid not do anything spa related. Resort has digital check in system on a slow server. No front desk so reservations are also digital at 2 podiums towards the lobby. Overall, resort was a nice size so you don’t have to walk further than 3 - 5 mins to get to restaurants, lobby/ shuttle that will take you to the beach.

The property is beautiful and both rooms that was booked were clean. It’s really easy to navigate; the pools and food are close to all of the rooms. Food was okay, typical buffet offerings. Themed nights like Mexican or Asian would have been nice. There are a few restaurants on the property that you have to have reservations for. You cannot book until the second day and we were unable to get a reservation until Al helped us get into Volcan (Steakhouse). The food was good here. Beverages: The mixed drinks are a bit watered down, stick to classic cocktails and shots. Activities: There are daily art activities, I highly recommend participating. It’s a great way to meet other travelers and relax. Recommendation to have more interactive events in the evenings like line dancing, themed parties, and networking. Private Beach: You have to rent the cabanas for the day but they come with additional offerings; like steak and champagne. It’s nice, however transportation to and from the resort needs to run more often. We waited over 20 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Will recommend and look forward to coming back.
