le spa etait hors service, alors qu'il est nullement indiqué que celui ci n'est pas ouvert dans tous les documents et descriptifs de l'hotel le parking de l'hotel est hors de prix 28 eur !! et en plus on vous renseigne mal sur son emplacement qui est facilement confondable avec des places de parking exterieur alors que j'aurais du beneficier de places en parking souterrain. le pdj est moins achalandé que celui d'un hotel Ibis, alors que nous sommes dans un hotel soit disant 4 * et enfin le personnel de la reception reste sourds à toutes ces remarques. Particulierement décu de cette enseigne

Tired looking hotel interior, with poor uninviting bar area, very poor Gym and a disappointing spa area that they charge extra for !

Property is situated on the edge of Bruges, just off the ring road but only a short ten-minute walk from the main square and all of Bruges attractions. The hotel room was large with a nice seating area. The buffet breakfast was also very good with plenty of choices. Parking is available, but pricy in the nearby underground car park.

Second visit to Golden Tulip , would certainly come again. Easy walking into centre and comfortable beds after a days sightseeing. Great that you can exchange room service for free drinks in the bar but you can still request any extras you need. Hotel parking secure but rather expensive.

Hotelkamer was prima en het ontbijt was uitstekend. De bar en mogelijkheid om te eten waren gesloten of hadden een zeer beperkt aanbod

Great location, 10 minute walk to the centre and overlooking a canal underground parking very tight, good for small cars but SUV's might think about parking on the street.

Die Lage ist recht zentral. Die Unterkunft ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und hätte eine Renovierung nötig. Das Frühstück ist keine 4 Sterne wert. Der Whirlpool also auch Wellnessbereich ist nur gegen Aufpreis erhältlich ( täglich 25€ pro Zimmer von 7-11 Uhr) laut den Mitarbeitern

Most importantly, we cannot fault eveeyone who works in the hotel, they are all friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a little tired but it is well placed in the city and the underground parking is ideal. Breakfast was comprehensive and the bar was welcoming with a good selection of drinks. A really pleasant 10-15 minute walk into the centre with somw libely cafes and restaurants on the way.

Em resumo? Não é um 4 estrelas. Simples assim. Hotel velho, camas extremamente moles (se você tem dor nas costas, pare por aqui e procure outro lugar), café da manha básico e as mesas todas sujas sem o staff limpando, academia limitadissima. Porem o pior é a falta de treinamento do staff. A recepcionista Latifa foi arrogante , rude e agressiva no check-in, alias nem nos mostrou onde iríamos deixar as bagagens pois nosso quarto nao estava pronto. O Francis, do bar, fez questao de mostrar que a falta de respeito nao é apenas na recepção: foi estúpido com uma simples pergunta dos horarios do hotel. Ja fiquei em mais de 500 hoteis na minha vida, esse fica no TOP 5 de piores. Ao entrar no quarto, voce pensa estar entrando em um motelzinho de estrada. Bonus: o unico elevador do hotel estava quebrado, muitas pessoas tiveram que descer as malas pela escada (obviamente sem ninguém do hotel ajudando).

Arrived and told to park is an extra €28, spa was an extra €25. Food was only available at the weekend but they don’t tell you this. Also is €18 for a frozen microwave meal. Staff didn’t listen to requests.

De afstand tot het centrum was perfect. Het hotel oogt oudbollig en is aan een upgrade toe. De badkamer was smerig, stof op diverse plekken en in de voegen en op het plafond zaten vele schimmelplekken. Pluspunt is dat het derde bed een echt bed was en geen opklapbed.

It was clean and comfy. They deal with group tour companies so one night was quite noisy and the other not..

Innestengt lukt på rom. Hybelkaniner på gulv og generelt støvete. Mugg i fuger på bad. Trenger absolutt en oppgradering. Ikke ladepunkter til mobil osv ved nattbord og gammelt teknisk utstyr som ikke virket.

Au sujet de la propreté avons été piqués par puces ou autres nuisibles ...dans la salle de bains 2 essuies usagés toujours présent. Matelas peu confortable. Tapis des couloirs pas correctement aspirés. Impression générale de vétusté. Donc prix largement surfait pour un soi-disant 4 étoiles. Tout est aussi en supplément: parking, sauna

Het hotel is goed. En dicht bij het centrum. De kamer 237 die we hadden was goed, 1 twee persoons bed. 2 stoelen met rond tafel . Badkamer met in bad douchen en en wastafel. En WC. Maar het rook naar riool toen we s,avonds op de kamer terug kwamen. En dat bleef hangen, dus raam in de badkamer opengezet. Ontbijt is goed verzorgd.

Kamer aan de straatkant, lawaai van langsrijdende auto’s. Overal zat nog tape langs de muren waar was geschilderd. Tape zat er al een tijdje. Verder vieze ontbijt tafeltjes. Te weinig personeel, want de 1e avond op maandag was de bar niet bezet. Men kon niet pinnen aan de bar, maar alleen bij de receptie.

Chambre confortable et spacieuse

The double bed were in reality two singles put side by side and with wheels! They move around. Breakfast is more than reasonable. Restaurant closed. Bar doesn't even have a sandwich. Depending on price could be a decent option (on the cheap side)

Nous revenons d’un séjour de deux nuits passées dans cet hôtel. Le plus, c’est la proximité avec le centre de Bruges où l’on peut tout faire à pieds. Le gros point négatif, c’est que chaque matin nous avons été réveillés car les chambres sont contre les salle de bains des voisins, à chaque chasse d’eau ou à chaque douche, nous avons eu le droit au bruit… ce n’est pas digne d’un 4 étoiles. De plus, toutes les routes sont pavées, espérez ne pas dormir côté route car vous entendrez chaque passage de voiture…

Het hotel heeft ooit bij de opening (40 jaar geleden ofzo) 4 sterren gekregen. Nu zijn er misschien 2 nog van over. Alles is oud, kapot of op een andere manier aan vervanging toe. Personeel bij de receptie is slecht geïnformeerd, er zou nog ruim voldoende plek zijn in de ondergrondse parkeergarage. Geen plek te vinden, wel 25 euro betalen. Kamers zijn oud, badkamer met douche in bad. Hier is de wand te kort dus heel de badkamer is een groot waterballet. Voegen zijn beschimmeld. Bed oncomfortabel en de airco werkte niet. Gevolg: niet geslapen want het was net een sauna. Bij de receptie aangegeven, maar dit was het beleid. Pas later in het voorjaar mag de airco aan. Ontbijt was niet bijzonder, maar oké.

Very nice hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortably furnished, the beds being particularly comfortable. It was at the back with french windows opening on to a small balcony overlooking the Japanese garden in the hotel courtyard. The outdated decor, however, was on the shabby side, so hope some redecorating is planned, as this is all that has stopped me giving it 5 stars. I would definitely stay here again The hotel lounge and bar was a very pleasant relaxing space after long days wandering around this lovely city. It also looks on to the Courtyard, which is accessible and must be lovely in summer.

Struttura decisamente datata. Posizione buona per visitare la città, ma all’interno la struttura non è all’altezza. Le camere ampie ma arredate con mobili decisamente vecchi. Poche prese (le uniche sono su una ciabatta avvitata alla parete). La porta del bagno chiude male, la porta della camera è consunta. Nel bagno un rubinetto su due e fuori servizio. Ottima invece la colazione.

Overall it was an acceptable place. However, the room allocated to me felt like a storage bedroom with parts of a bedframe left in the room and many chairs all stored around a table. I thought I was getting a double bed but it was two single beds pushed together and they both kept coming apart when I slept on the bed. When I was leaving, the other rooms on the same floor had the doors open. These rooms looked like decent hotel rooms. I was put in the worst room on that floor in comparison to these other rooms.

Excelente personal y atención

Check in staff were abrupt and nonchalant. We were refused breakfast service as a couple of minutes after 10am no details of breakfast times in room. Nor were we told times at check in. I needed a key to use the room safe. Staff told me to come down and collect from reception instead of getting it bought up to me. If you state you are a 4* hotel then the staff need to act like it.

Our accommodations were lovely! The staff was very helpful and kind. We arrived quite late, the restaurant having just closed, yet allowed us to order dinner. We highly recommend staying here.

Very friendly staff, great location near a canal and 10-15 mins mooch into main town. Clean, good breakfast, big rooms what’s not to like

Great location but check-in was not the greatest experience. Someone started with checking me in but because i booked 2 rooms suddenly it was complicated, they switched me over to another person at the reception. Had to pay city tax which was ok but then they had to change this also 2 times ( first they charged 8 euros, then realised it should have been 12 euros- they had to cancel the 8 and then do the 12…..) so all by all 20mins later they checked me in and the rooms were not ready yet at 14.30. We decided to leave the bags in the storage room and go into the city and explore the xmas market first. When we came back to the hotel around 17h, there was another receptionist and he mentioned I hadn’t paid my city tax yet. I showed him me bankapp that there was 12 euros deducted but apparently it was not in their system. Luckily i asked after all the hassle for an invoice at our check in and could show him that I did pay the city tax. The person at the reception mentioned it was not in the system and eventually we got our room keys. The rooms are a bit dated but all by all the location was great and it was decent value for the price and location. The check in though was the worst ive experienced and I have been in a lot of hotels

Het is een net hotel op ca. 20 minuten lopen van de markt. Ontbijt is vrij simpel, wifi op de kamer werkt niet echt goed. Personeel aan de receptie is niet altijd even vriendelijk en maakt ongevraagd een foto van je paspoort (wat ook volgens Belgische richtlijnen niet mag, maar volgens het personeel "zijn het alleen de Nederlands die hierover zeuren"). Gezien de hoge prijs en de matige standaard, denk ik dat er voldoende andere keuzes zijn.

Donc on n'a pas eu le choix de payer le parking, et on s'est privé de détente vu le prix en plus. Le petit déj était vraiment très basique, pour un 4 étoiles, même moyen bof. On a fait des 3 étoiles ailleurs à l'étranger et d'autres 4 étoiles où c'était très qualitatif en comparaison. La literie était bonne par contre. J'avais choisi cet hôtel pour l'emplacement et le coin spa, je suis déçu de la prestation qui ne mérite ni 4 étoiles ni ce prix. En revanche, très bon emplacement, tout à pied pendant 3 jours. Ah oui, et un des agents d'accueil très mal aimable, limite insultant quand on lui explique justement que le supplément n'était pas précisé. Heureusement que son collègue était très gentil, c'est même monté à la direction.

Eine zweite Bettdecke wurde uns verweigert, da diese offenbar nur bei vorheriger Anfrage erhältlich ist – ein seltsamer und wenig kundenfreundlicher Ansatz. Insgesamt fehlt dem Hotel die Liebe zum Detail und ein Gespür für Gastfreundschaft. The reception staff were very helpful during my stay. Both the night receptionist on 6/23 and the morning receptionist on 6/24 were extremely helpful and kind in answering my questions and giving information about the area.

Excellent location and hotel rooms

We had a great time at the Golden Tulip hotel, quite close to the main square with the Belfort Tower, Bus no.2 from Bruges Station lands right outside the hotel. The room we had looked a bit dated but was really clean, for the money, as we were not in the room that much, was really good value. The Daily breakfast was really lovely and the staff were helpful, it was an 8 out of 10 for us.

Great location, bit more quiet, but still walkable distance from the main sights. The staff was friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean and cozy. Good breakfast. No complaints, would definitely return.

The hotel is in a nice location, situated on one of the major canals, slightly outside of the busy center square. Very quiet yet easy walk to all of the sites and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent. Rooms were simple but clean.

Ontbijt voor een 4-sterren hotel best karig. Een klein buffet die niet elk moment goed gevuld is. Verder echt een uitstekend verblijf. Mooie nette kamer. Fijne afstand tot alles in het centrum. Konden ook om 10.30 al de kamer in ipv 15.00. Heel fijn.

Algemeen zeer goed, mooie en ruime upgrade kamer gekregen, maar het ontbijt liet te wensen over. Slechts keuze uit 2 soorten broodjes en gesneden brood, geen gerookte zalm meer vanaf 10 uur vanwege voorraad uitgeput, de bacon was slap in plaats van krokant gebakken, slechts 2 soorten sneetjeskaas. De koffie was wel van goede kwaliteit zonder wachtrij aan de machines.

La chambre était spacieuse, très comfortable et propre. L’hôtel est joliment situé au bord d’un canal à 15 min à pieds des sites à visiter. Il y a également une bonne connexion avec un bus qui désert le centre-ville et la gare. Seul le petit déjeuner est un peu décevant. La salle assez bruyante et pas de vue sur l’extérieur. Un vrai jus frais serait appréciable et aussi un peu plus de variété dans les fruits frais.

Although it is a good 30 minute walk from the station, its location next to canals and proximity to the centre was handy. The room was comfortable, the public areas are very dated. Breakfast included in room rate wasn't great - zero acknowledgment from staff, bleak dining room, items had ran out, coffee foul. Given the general prices in Bruges for hotels, it offered fair value given location and bedroom standard.
