Hotel Olympia in Bruges

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Olympia. There are a lot of free parking spaces very close to the hotel. The room was nice and clean, and breakfast was excellent. The staff is lovely and very helpful.

Small room, we had 2 x small cabin cases, nowhere to put them. Couldn’t sit up on one of the single beds as it rolled away from the wall. One bedside table. Otherwise good stay, 15 min walk into Bruges which was fine. Parking is on the road so you take pot luck, free parking in a car park 100 m away, we walked past 5 times out of 6 & it was full!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Olympia. The rooms are simple yet comfortable, while the hotel itself boasts a style beyond its price range. The guy running the place was incredibly friendly and helpful and seemed to not miss a beat while doing everything himself. The free street parking nearby saved us a great deal of money and was ideal for a property located less than a 20 minute walk from the city centre. The only negative would be that the bar closes too early for you to make full use of it. However, this can be forgiven if you appreciate one person is trying to operate everything themselves. Overall a great experience and we will definitely consider staying at the Olympia again when we return to Bruges

Lovely hotel, basic but comfortable rooms, 15 minute walk from Bruge Centre. Rooms basic with no kettle but lovely bar/coffee shop at extra cost. We didn't have breakfast as it seemed very costly and plenty of places to eat in Bruge. 20 minute walk from Bruge stadium for football if you go to a game like we did. Would stay again.

Fantastic find this hotel was. Good price, welcoming staff, clean and comfortable room, free parking at one of the nearby car parks, easy walk into Bruges centre (and lovely walking through Smedenpoort). Thank you so much Valerie for a lovely stay!

A little bit mis-leading to advertise free parking. There is free parking in two local car parks but they were both full when we arrived. If these are full then parking is an issue

Close the historical center, good condition, there is parking space around for overnight parking, but that is not on premises of the hotel. Liked it overall.

Had the best nights sleep here because the neighbourhood where the property is located is quiet and feels safe. The property itself is about a 25min walk from the main attractions and square in Bruges. Really enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely be back if we are in Bruges again!

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and has comfortable bed. Location is convenient and easy parking. Receptionists are very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely hotel which is a 15 minute walk from the old market square. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious and clean. Parking is in a local park which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Area felt safe and secure. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Would happily book again.

The hotel room and bathroom was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Check in was very quick and easy and gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were bread, cereals, cold meats, fruit and some hot food (sausages, scrambled eggs and bacon). Although choices were limited the breakfast was good. Room was clean and spacious. No kettle in the room, but I later found out we could have asked for one. There is a bottle of of water, which tasted like tap water and not replaced on following days. Parking although not an issue as we found parking nearby, the hotel itself doesn't have parking. It is only within around 20 mins walk from town centre. It is pet friendly. It doesn't serve lunch or dinner, but there were a few places to eat nearby and also some shops.

Hotel is almost perfect. The addition of air conditioning would've made it 100% ideal.

Dort war es sehr laut und wir mussten jede Nacht selbst die Verbindungstür schließen, um einigermaßen schlafen zu können. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. In der 5. und 6. Nacht kam es zudem um 2 bzw. 5 Uhr morgens zu deutlichen Geräuschen und „Aktivitäten“ von den Nachbarn. Wir baten um einen Zimmerwechsel, der auch gewährt wurde – allerdings nicht in den zweiten Stock, wo es vermutlich ruhiger gewesen wäre. Die Matratzen im ersten Zimmer waren außerdem sehr weich und sollten unserer Meinung nach erneuert werden. Das Frühstück war insgesamt gut, jedoch hätten wir uns frisches Gemüse wie Tomaten oder Salat gewünscht. Ein größeres Problem war für uns die Distanz zum Zentrum von Brügge: man benötigt 20–25 Minuten zu Fuß. Da es in der direkten Umgebung keinerlei Restaurants gibt, mussten wir diese Strecke mindestens viermal täglich zurücklegen, was mit der Zeit sehr anstrengend wurde. In der zweiten Woche nahmen wir an einem Schachturnier in einer nahegelegenen Schule teil – sonst hätten wir wahrscheinlich ein Hotel direkt in der Stadt gewählt. Brügge ist insgesamt extrem teuer und wirkt teilweise überteuert. Dieses Hotel war im Vergleich preiswerter als viele andere in der Stadt. Einen kostenlosen Parkplatz fanden wir in der Nähe der Schule. Insgesamt war es leider kein besonders erholsamer Urlaub.

Tren istasyonuna yürüme mesafesinde güzel bir butik otel. Odası yeterli büyüklükte ve temizdi. Odada su ve terlik bulunmuyordu.

Staff was helpful and accommodating. It’s not the closest to city center - I would recommend renting their bikes if you don’t have a car. Neighborhood is clean and quiet. Plan ahead for food, there are few restaurants very close.

Ontbijt verzorgd. Receptioniste kon wat vriendelijker.

Hulpvaardig personeel. Ontbijt in orde en meer dan voldoende. Enige minpunt was misschien de temperatuur in het gebouw. Dat mag van mij minder.

Booked 2 rooms for us and our young teens, hotel conveniently put the rooms next door which was really considerate. Lovely friendly and comfortable hotel. Easy to park within 1 min walk for free. A pleasant and easy 15 minute to the city wall - we did it all on foot. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Ideal for a short break to beautiful Brugge. Thank you so much we enjoyed our stay. Just the one night stay but overall the hotel was excellent. It's about a 15 min easy walk to the fringe of Bruges historic city. Seemed like a safe neighbourhood and easy access to main roads.
