Let's face it. For the price, you're not getting a Holiday Inn or a Hilton. You're getting a place to sleep for the night. No frills! My review is based in that and I knew that in advance. You can't beat the price. However, if you advertise free WiFi it should work. I had to stand next to the door to get WiFi. If I was sitting in my bed or at the desk it did not work, so for me there was no WiFi. The gentleman at the desk insisted it worked but it did not. For me, having unlimited data on my phone, it was not really a big deal. But for review purposes it should be noted. If you're in a room far from the main desk (I was three from the end) beware. There is no continental breakfast but, again, you get what you pay for. The room was clean, the A/C was great and the shower and hot water worked. I would stay here again.

Everything was good. Beds were comfy—shower had good spray. Easy parking and a nice night of sleep. Good stay for a low price.

It really needs to be painted and cleaned up around the property. Other than that I give it three out of five stars.

Run down room. Sheets were littered with cigarette burns and holes . No vending to speak of. Otherwise just ok

I arrived after a very long drive and really needed to use the restroom but the lobby one was out of order. I did not get information about the included breakfast. When I went to the lobby the next morning, it was locked.

The room was so dirty

Visible dirt all over the floor. Took a baby wipe to them and it was evident they had not been mopped or cleaned. Hair in bathtub. Sheets and pillowcases had visible stains. Sink was clogged. Was woken up multiple times during the night to scratching which I can only assume was mice or rats in the walls.

When you first open the door it has an odor, like at one time it was a smoking room. Bathroom had mold on the shower wall and the shower curtain has mold. We had reservations 2 nights. Needless to say we only stayed 1. And that was 1 too many.

I would never go back to this property. Our room had not been cleaned. We had stained on the sheets, trash and dirt all over the floor to the point we could not even take off our shoes. There were fake eyelashes in the bed and on the floor. Hair in the tub and dirt. Hair on the toilet. Stains on the walls and sinks. We asked for our room to be cleaned, or for a different room. The worker said they would not clean our room til the following day and laughed saying we should not ask late at night for our room to be cleaned. The next day, our room was cleaned, yet we still had “new” towels covered in stains. Sheets also still stained. I was frustrated with the hospitality and most of all the cleanliness of this hotel. I slept in shoes and clothes too because it was so unsanitary. I ended up having to buy Clorox wipes and wipe the sink and tub myself. I am displeased with this hotel and booking

This property was pretty disgusting, but I wasn’t surprised (needed a cheap stay for a soccer tournament weekend). They claim to have a daily maid service but nobody cleaned our room. The bathroom clearly had black mold all in it due to poor ventilation. The room was booked for four people and only three bath towels were provided - unhelpful. The crowd of people who appear to LIVE at the hotel did not make me feel safe having my children there. Overall, it was gross and awful.

Dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at. There's no way to describe it. The floor was filthy. I had to go buy cleaning supplies to cean my own room. I borrowed a broom from the front desk. Little bugs in my room. The only reason i stayed was because they refused to give me a refund. Its sad that hotels are actually allowed to operate like that without any accountability. Oh, and there were spider webbs everywhere.

The towels and sheets were stained! Place was flat out dirty.

Seen the 2 star but figured it was operable being on 3rd party sites. Window was broke room 212. Bathroom door hanging, mold on bathroom celling. Burn holes in blankets. Floors not at all swept.

The guy at the office was rude and disrespectful, room number 333 was extremely hard to get the shower to turn on. The freezer which was needed was frozen shut, and the room was dirty. I mean I took a wet rag to the floor, and it was black. I was charged extra fees that wasn’t listed online when I paid online, had to pay an extra $100+. I’ve stayed at this motel plenty of times in the past, and never again.

We stayed here during a trip to Pittsburgh, as the hotel is only about 20 minutes outside the city! I would recommend reading the reviews before staying here. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly by front desk staff and checked in quickly! Our room was on the ground floor on the front side of the building. Our room was basic, but had a small fridge and a microwave. The fridge did leak quite a bit, but was functional. The condition of the room was a little concerning, as there was a lot of wear and tear. Peeling paint, scratched walls, and holes in the ceiling were present and obvious. The bed was not uncomfortable, but the pillows were small and flat. The linens in the room, including bed sheets and towels, were visibly stained but smelled as though they had been laundered. There was no sign of bedbugs anywhere in the room. I would recommend wearing socks during your stay, as the floors left our feet very dirty. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure in the shower was great! However, the shower required a high step to get in and was very slippery, so be aware if you have impaired mobility. Overall, this was a fine place to stay just to have somewhere to sleep. We did not feel unsafe during our stay and the staff was nice.

I liked the room in general. The side tables next to the bed were too low. Nice, comfortable bed that was high. Just need higher side tables for the bed’s height. Only other thing that was annoying was the bathtub floor which was too high. You were right to place a sign there to watch your step. Everything else was very good

One of the worst motels I’ve ever stayed in. Smoke free room reeked of smoke, dirty carpets, stained bed covering, broken springs with depressed mattress area. bathtub sitting on raised platform made it difficult to get in and out without slipping, baseboards and tiles were nasty, furnishings dated and beat up. Dingy. Would not recommend unless there is nothing else available. $110/night should have been $29.95

The room was pretty clean and the bed was definitely comfortable. Definitely a very basic hotel room - no alarm clock or table for a suitcase. There was a microwave and fridge which was nice. The bathroom drain was completely clogged when I first used the shower, but maintenance was able to fix it quickly. I just wished the shower faucet was better - it was hard to turn on and get hot water. Also, the bottom of the tub is several inches off the ground, so when you stand up, you are higher than the shower head. Overall a decent stay, but the bathrooms need a bit if improvement.

The shower was very difficult to turn on/off. Bed very uncomfortable. Everything else was fine.

I like this hotel for the price as a budget staycation for me and my partner. The Tv channel options are not the best. The high step tub is somewhat of a safety concern even for an aware and careful person. The bed is comfortable and the room is warm even for the cold month of February

Everything was ok but the tv was acting up

Property was clean. Nice size room. Solid customer service.

The keycards for the doors did not work well. Any contact with electronics would scramble them including cell phones, chipped credit cards, car fobs. Constantly had to get them reprogrammed but only 1 of the 2 might work. Saw over 10 people having similar problems during the 4 days that I was there.

I met a bad staff who wouldn’t let me into the lobby because his says his manager says so. I stood in the cold till he checked me in for 9 minutes. My nose was bleeding and he didn’t care. Very terrible staff with no empathy.

My daughter and I had a great overnight stay while in town for football. We usually stay here. The staff is friendly, and everything is clean. Great price for your stay.

The first room they gave me was filthy, menstrual blood stain on the bed sheet, the pillows were yellow and the floor had human hair on it. I got a new room which was not great but tollerable. On the 3rd day into my trip I came back to new room and the card key did not work. I went to the office got a new one then went back to the room and my property was missing. They had checked me out when I was not leaving until the next day. The management had taken my property out of the room but threw out my toothbrush and soap which I brought. In addition when I left they did not provide me with a receipt.

The staff were not nice, the front guy (very young), was rude and no collaborative at all. The Genral Manager was a little bit better, my key didn't worked on the room assigned at the lobby, so he re-assigned another room on the same 3rd floor. The room was clean, but the wall was full of dust, so the AC was too. The towell hanger are almost to fall, no hair dryer, no iron, the tub has holes, and the shower was so low (I'm 6'1") that was at the same level of my chest. The elevator area smells like someone pee on a corner, and there's nothing walking distance, so get ready to grab your car to do anything. Also, early afternoons there's people drinking beer ouside the rooms. So my recommendation is that it's not a family hotel.

I give this place 5 stars for the friendly staff both front desk and housekeeping. I didn't care for the wood floors but it sort of gave it character. It's in a convenient location..everything in the room worked properly. Could use an upgrade on the grounds etc but for what i needed..it totally served its purpose.

The front desk was quite helpful. It’s an old facility, but they are keeping it clean. The price is good and the location was perfect for me.

On the last night there I was awoken around midngiht to yelling outside my room. Somebody was going to door door, banging on each one. It sounded like someone was fighting. I did not feel safe.

The room was very clean and had up to date decor. The exterior looks a little funky, but this motel is in a great location and very good value in comparison to other motels in the area.

The reservation was made as a last minute, and I was happy that they had 3 last rooms. However, that being said, if I need to stay in Monroeville next time, I would not choose this hotel. First, there were many smokers outside which is good, however their smoke permeates the rooms especially when setting and turning on the air conditioner or heating. The system draws in the air from outside which was smoke laden. Second, the bathroom had walls that were torn out by the water drain to the toilet. Unsightly Third, the floors were sticky near the bathroom Fourth the beds were hard. Not plush and soft - more like the inner spring mattress on the firm side. Difficult to sleep. Fifth and minor but no coffee in the rooms Lastly - No Breakfast! They advertise one, but offered nothing but coffee

Great stay. TV had a black streak, but room was clean and staff was kind and welcoming. I had low expectations based on some of the other reviews, but it was actually quite nice. The restaurant in from my of the hotel offers great Pittsburgh food at an amazing price. If I were looking to save money, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Well, I understood this was an older property and hasn’t been updated in sometime. I had read some of the reviews and had slightly better expectations. However, my non-smoking room reek of smoke had me coughing half the night was very unpleasant. Staff was incredibly friendly. The lobby smelled clean. I had hoped the same for my room. I could’ve overlooked almost everything had the room not smelled so much like smoke. It was really bad definitely needs upgraded. The cleanliness of the room was lacking. The floor was cracked and broken ceiling in the bathroom had brown spots all over it. The breakfast mediocre coffee based on the refuse, I read I definitely did not get what I had expected based on some of the reviews which I believe were fraudulent. Find another place to stay. They were very friendly, but the place just smelled of smoke.
