Overall, the hotel is OK. The pool needed to be cleaned as it is surrounded by trees. We had to deal with moths coming through the closed window. There were so many that I had to use pepper spray to kill them. I reported to the front desk attendant but he seemed not too concerned about it since I killed them. The sheets were not clean so thankfully I brought my own. Location is great with easy access to the bridge and French Quarters. The bathroom had dead moths in the shower. The price was great.

Clean room, and everything was in good repair. The breakfast wasn’t gourmet but it was adequate and filling. Parking lot was poorly lit at night, however. Overall, a good value for the money. Worth noting that the pool closes after Halloween and there is no gym on site, despite whatever the website may say.

The parking is just awful. Not enough spaces. Large trucks taking multiple spots. So parking found only at the far end of the dark parking lot, Right next to the swamp!

The pool was green n not cleaned after we asked several times. The in room phone did not work and the staff did not care at all about any of it. Very lazy front desk staff. And I feel I should have been compensated for not being able to use the pool. They did not apologize or offer any compensation. Total lack of respect from front desk staff.

Good location and clean rooms. Pet friendly but not accommodating. Pet fee was pretty standard. Dogs were not allowed to be unattended which was not clear on the website. I would have booked elsewhere had I known. They also had pet owners fill out a form with information about the pets which was off putting. I booked a king bed and was given 2 doubles with no conversation or acknowledgment that they were not giving me the room I booked. Check in staff was not pleasant. I would not book this hotel again.

Our stay could not have been better. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely clean and quiet. The parking was close to the entry which really helped! Outstanding!

This was our second stay at this hotel and we were very disappointed this time. It smelled like mold when we walked into our room and then we saw that the rug underneath the air conditioner was soaked. There was also water in the bathroom when we walked in - which was at 12:30am. We won't stay here again.

The room was not clean. There was a spider in my refrigerator. The ice bucket was wet and dirty with an eyelash in it. I found a hair clip on the floor that wasn’t mine. The shower water was luke warm at best and the morning coffee downstairs was cold. I stayed for two nights and did not have anyone straighten my room or replace used items to include towels.

Room was ok a bit outdated. Sink drain slowly and I tried to unclog it. Tons of black and gray hair was coming up. I am bald so it was not mine. Microwave was disgusting old with stains and not cleaned. Flooring was creaky. Shower stall only and it looked pod to go to another dimension.

Terrible and should of checked out after first day. Bed bugs and insects by bottom of bed and then flying insects on my last day. Tried to speak to house keeping but they had to type everything into their phone and didn't understand. Spoke with front desk and they told me to call back during the week. I'm not sure if the room had fleas but their are bites all over the bottom of my legs. Definitely would never ever stay at this hotel. Curious as to what kind of response I will get. It seems like they apologize for every bad review but there's never a refund. If I worked for Hotels.com I would be looking into this business. They certainly do not follow the protocol for cleaniness.

The location was convenient and within easy driving distance to downtown and the beach. Easy parking. There were a few negatives. Our showers were on the cold side of lukewarm. The breakfast bar was disappointing. Coffee was not made and people were standing around waiting quite awhile for it. The fake eggs and greasy sausage links were not very tasty. Hardly any fruit on breakfast bar. All in all, a pretty mediocre experience.

Check in process was lengthy, but check out was very fast (with the same employee, not a reflection on her). Room was clean - walls were thin. Could hear kids running in halls, people getting back to rooms late in halls. Overall nice - but the lack of noise softening was apparent.

Booked and paid for two rooms then had to pay an additional $60 at check-in for each room. One of the most uncomfortable mattresses I have tried sleeping on. Also, the TV in one room was very small 32" while the other is what you would expect.

Wrong bed size when I checked in. Room could use some updating especially in the bathroom. Fairly clean. Bathtub drains very slowly so you get to stand in water while you’re taking a shower. Doable but not great.

My flight arrived late and the person on the night shift was very helpful. My stay there served its purpose. I wish they supplied shower caps. The room was nice with a comfortable bed. The shower door in my room didn't close correctly so it leaked on the bathroom floor.

While there was nothing glaringly awful about staying at this hotel, there really wasn't anything good either. Very so-so. My biggest gripe was the room we were put in was at the end of the hall. The room itself was ok, air was cold. Directly outside the door was also the door to the stairs that were used quite frequently all night long. The door was not quiet. Sometimes other guests would slam it. Really not fun to awakened multiple times at night for this. The window was covered in moisture in the morning but the view was of a tree and overgrown plantlife so I guess that didn't matter, right? Breakfast was meh. Not a lot of choices other than carb heavy processed foods. Only oranges, no bananas. Coffee nook was so small along with the cups that were more like shots of coffee. For being one of the lower price hotels in Mt Pleasant, I guess it was worth it. Will I book with another Sleep Inn or Choice Brand Hotel, probably not. This hotel is in need of a serious update. Elevator was sketchy sounding. Doors slam. Poor overall noise control.

One of the most hospitable hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Really made us feel at home. Staff is courteous, and friendly. Breakfast is always served fresh. The kitchen staff wonderful, I wish I got the man’s name as he was very thoughtful whenever my family saw him. The front desk goes above and beyond to ensure all is well. Highly recommend!

Pet fee was only accepted in cash. Desk agent was unable to print me a receipt at check in when giving cash payment and was unable to print a receipt at checkout showing cash payment. GM was supposed to email me receipt but unrecieved and staff did not know GMs name or email address. Very walkable from hotel was a perk

The interior smells very musty and at times I could smell the cigarette smoke I stayed for one Tuesday night and my flight was delayed on Wednesday. I Requested in later check out by one or two hours minimum to which they original reply was that I would have to pay for an An extra nights stay. I again requested just one hour more, which they said no the Room was already slated for another occupant. If that were the case, why then did they originally indicate that they could extend it to me for another pay. On top of this, The staff is rude in general

I was pleasantly surprised after reading reviews that had me concerned. I had a great stay!!! I stayed with my son and it was quiet and breakfast was beautiful, hotel breakfast but there was plenty and staff were absolutely excellent. Desk welcomed us quickly and the man knew we were running late and did so well to get us through. Start yo finish top notch. I slept well with the bed and pillows. I am choosy and these were very comfortable and the air conditioning was crispy 👌 i would stay again and it was convenient to the beach and the concert we went to see in Charleston. Hope this helps anyone on the fence because i was so pleasantly impressed

I am choosy and these were very comfortable and the air conditioning was crispy 👌 i would stay again and it was convenient to the beach and the concert we went to see in Charleston. I had the pleasure of staying at the Sleep Inn for 6 nights over two trips in the months of August and September this year. The place is located in the perfect spot for quick access to the Ravenel Bridge, the park, restaurants in Mount Pleasant. The best thing about the hotel are the people. I was there for a family emergency and the staff consistently inquired about how my son was doing. They couldn't have been kinder.

The property was neat & clean. The lobby and room were fresh & pretty, as well as clean. Nice & big glass door shower. Short, less than ten minute drive to downtown. It’s was also nice & easy as well as economical to have breakfast on property. We had everything we needed to enjoy a short vacation in Charleston.

I visited Sleep Inn Mt. Pleasant - Charleston for the second time, but now I brought 4 more people from the EU. We enjoyed our stay, besides perfect service, I would like to stress that it is perfectly located. Easy/ quick access to downtown, Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, and it is in the middle between Folly Beach and Isle of Palms. I hope I will have a chance to come back.

the location was extremely convenient to go to the historic Charleston downtown and close to Sullivan beach & Isle of Palms. the breakfast was so bad that we went to the close by diner to eat.

One of the most hospitable hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Really made us feel at home. Staff is courteous, and friendly. Breakfast is always served fresh. The kitchen staff wonderful, I wish I got the man’s name as he was very thoughtful whenever my family saw him. The front desk goes above and beyond to ensure all is well. Highly recommend!

The location was convenient and within easy driving distance to downtown and the beach. Easy parking. There were a few negatives. Our showers were on the cold side of lukewarm. The breakfast bar was disappointing. Coffee was not made and people were standing around waiting quite awhile for it. The fake eggs and greasy sausage links were not very tasty. Hardly any fruit on breakfast bar. All in all, a pretty mediocre experience.

We were in the area for an MUSC visit. The hotel is very close to Patriots Point, MUSC, and other Mt Pleasant/Charleston highlights and is The price for the room was good. The breakfast area was small and breakfast items were limited, but the choices were good.

While there was nothing glaringly awful about staying at this hotel, there really wasn't anything good either. Very so-so. My biggest gripe was the room we were put in was at the end of the hall. The room itself was ok, air was cold. Directly outside the door was also the door to the stairs that were used quite frequently all night long. The door was not quiet. Sometimes other guests would slam it. Really not fun to awakened multiple times at night for this. The window was covered in moisture in the morning but the view was of a tree and overgrown plantlife so I guess that didn't matter, right? Breakfast was meh. Not a lot of choices other than carb heavy processed foods. Only oranges, no bananas. Coffee nook was so small along with the cups that were more like shots of coffee. For being one of the lower price hotels in Mt Pleasant, I guess it was worth it. Will I book with another Sleep Inn or Choice Brand Hotel, probably not. This hotel is in need of a serious update. Elevator was sketchy sounding. Doors slam. Poor overall noise control.

Was disappointed with no eggs at 8:30 am. Everything was low so we went to a restaurant. Would have rather saved that money. Key to room didn’t work had to go back. Never worked well. Otherwise rested well and very clean

The hotel appeared to be clean when we first arrived. The next morning I found a roach on the wall and showed the front desk. They sent maintenance to our room who stated it was probably a Palmetto Bug...Definitely not. He sprayed and later that night one crawled across my husband's shoulder on the bed. This time I was again told that the Palmetto bugs come out when it rains. This was definitely a German cockroach...too small for a Palmetto Bug and didn't look anything like a young one. They offered to move my room and that was all. I will not be returning to this Sleep Inn.
