Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington Mayfaire Town Center

Loved the stay! The walls and ceilings were thin so we could hear a lot from other rooms. Loved the lobby and bar! Our room was very nice and in a nice area.

The front desk checkin experience was great. Thomas was friendly and welcoming The room, fitness center, and general facilities really need improvement. I was surprised how quickly this property has gotten so average. Lots of signs with "broken" on them too (fitness center, water fountains, etc)

Clean rooms nice building, good pool area. Staff was accommodating and let us check in early.

Our room was clean, well stocked and very cool. It was very hot outside. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The pool was great!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

I had a four night stay and the room was not cleaned. I finally aaked for room service and the response from the front desk was "We are short staffed." I had to put the trash and dirty towels in the hallway. I finally got some clean towels after complaining on the Hilton Honors app. It's a lovely area to stay but very disappointing service. Breakfast is not included, the fitness center miniature, and the pool not cleaned properly.

First time to Wilmington & location was great. Easy drive to both downtown & Wrightsville beach. Lots of stores around hotel, should you need to grab some groceries or a last minute swimsuit. Quiet area, ample free parking, nice employees. Definitely would stay here if in the area again.

Comfortable and clean. Staff amazingly friendly. Bartendar Sherry an exceptional find. Great classic cocktails, very professional. Nice breafast options.

The bar went the extra mile by bringing our food up to us after a very long day it was greatly appreciated

What I didn't like is the gym, i like to work out And none of the equipment worked. I wasn't told.i dod have the option to go to another Hilton to goto that gym. But i didn't. So i went to Planet Fitness.

Location was good Lobby was beautiful. Pool was very nice.

Terrible smell in the room.

My husband, 10 month old daughter, and myself checked in, which seemed a little crazy at the time of day. Got to our room, and no less than 5 minutes later, another customer had keyed into our room while I was changing. I realized a few minutes later our keys did not work so I went down to discuss the situation. I received new room keys and a half hearted apology, but was not offered anything for the invasion of privacy and inconvenience. I went to order food at their little kitchen and the lady taking the orders was pretty trashy with the way she spoke and was not very friendly. We decided not to spend a dime more there and ordered some food from somewhere else. We stayed in the room with the door double locked just in case. Not to mention the phones were down in the whole place. Cleaned my daughter’s bottles thoroughly and when I woke up in the morning there was a baby cockroach crawling on one of them. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I am highly disappointed and annoyed and am upset that I wasn’t offered a discount or anything for my troubles. Save yourself the time and money and stay somewhere else. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The room had an overpowering musty moldy smell and an undeniable level of moisture which made all our clothes and papers damp. I paid for two rooms for myself and another for my son. His room was exactly the same. It was awful to breathe. Rooms 105 and 109. I am so mad I paid full price. I fell I should be reimbursed!!

Very clean.

This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. I knew I was only going to be here long enough to sleep so I let some things slide that I usually wouldn't. Before even entering my room, there was trash from a bag of some kind on the floor outside my assigned room. I assume another guest could have left this, so I didn't think much of it, but it was still there when I left the next morning so obviously no one on the cleaning staff walked down that hall from 6pm to 8 am. The very first thing I noticed inside the room was that there was dried toothpaste on the bathroom counter from the previous guest. It's a brown countertop, it can't be that hard to notice white toothpaste which leads me to believe that the bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Also in the bathroom, the area where the hair dryer was stored had a layer of dust that has easily been there for months if not longer - again, a clear indication that thorough cleaning doesn't happen here. There were also areas on the side table and night stand where sticky raised spots were left from previous guests. Needless to say, I had to do a little cleaning of my own to feel OK about the room. If I had been staying more than a few hours, I would have requested a change of room or gone to another hotel. I've stayed here before, but I probably won't be back.

Nice, clean hotel in a safe area. Convenient to dining and shopping. Very good overall quality for the money.

Checked in and the service was quick, easy, and friendly. The room's TV was blue, there were cracks in part of the tile, stains on the chair, pubic hair in the bed, and stains on the curtain. It wasn't really up to my expectations of a Hilton brand hotel. With that said, everything else was as expected.

I’m so disgusted, I’m going to do all I can to get compensated for that horrific hotel. They sent me to my room, that had the bed clearly still slept in, sheets, everything disgustingly dirty. Towels all over the floor, pubic hairs on the floor, toilet & bathtub. Trash everywhere. And nearly stepped on 2 HUGE roaches in the hallway. People were so loud all night, I barely slept at all!!!

My stay was not comfortable at all. The guests in the room above me made noise all night and during the early morning hours. It sounded like someone was wrestling or moving furniture above us. We reported it to the front desk, but it continued, so we didn't sleep well at all.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great location to restaurants and beach. Only thing we didn’t like was that at 4:30AM each morning we were shaken awake by the spin cycle of the hotel laundry. So if you get room 304 be prepared for that.

Staff was very nice and my room was very clean. Water pressure in the shower was as trickle and temperature varied scalding hot to luke warm. The walls are paper thin and not only could you hear people in that halls until 3 am… but you could hear clear conversations in other rooms. Unless you are a very sound sleeper- don’t recommend.

The noise levels between rooms were quite loud. Even footsteps could be heard throughout the rooms. It was awful.

Toilet does not work

Room was clean but bed was like sleeping on a brick with uncomfortable pillows. Night manager my first night cared not about my inquiry of a missing inner shower curtain and was quite short on the phone.

For a Hilton this stay was very disappointing. The room was not clean and the bed was not very comfortable.

Could not ask for an easier and more convenient location than the Hilton Garden Inn Mayfaire. The lobby bar area was perfect for doing work; very large, quiet and great wifi. My only complaint would be the box air conditioner which was loud at night when it kicked on and off. Huge room though and otherwise great stay.

Our air conditioning doesn’t work and I tried to call the front desk but then realized our phones also don’t work. Floor is uneven and

Hotel was ok. Bathroom shower head had a significant water leakage running down the wall. It made the floor wet. The shade over the window would not go up after we pulled it down. So it stayed down our whole stay.

When we arrived at 5:00 PM we were told that several of the housekeeping staff had not come in to work and so our room was not available for another hour. Check in was 3:00 PM so we’re glad we arrived later. We were told managers were cleaning the rooms- there were a number of guests sitting in the lobby waiting for their rooms to be cleaned. We had dinner reservations so that was a big concern. No discount was offered

The Hilton Garden Inn at Mayfaire is consistently great. The staff is friendly and professional, the food is always good, the rooms are spotless. When we checked in we received a little box of goodies which was a nice surprise. Of course, the front desk staff were wonderful as usual

Front desk was exceptionable. We requested an early check in and the wonderful front desk manager was gracious in accommodating our request. We did not arrive as early as planned but certainly appreciated the ability to do so.

The service was impeccable and the staff were truly amazing!! Will definitely stay here in my next trip to Wilmington!

I stayed at the Wrightsville Beach location for 4 days. I let the attendant know that we were making two seperate payments for two days each. When we checked out we were told that one payment showed a no show and the other 3days. I had my receipt but they still made us wait another 40 minutes waiting for a manager for mistakes that they made. They only corrected the matter when we called the 1-800 number.

The property itself was very nice, clean and in a great location. However I’d be sure to closely check your bill and insist on a receipt. The Hilton charged me again for my stay, even though it was paid for on hotels.com. At check out they wouldn’t give me a receipt because they said I had no bill. However multiple calls late, and one associate at the hotel lying to me about the return already being made, I’m still waiting for over a $400 credit to officially be given back to me. So just check your bill very carefully at check out!

The lady who checked us in was so kind and even upgraded us to a suite once finding out we were on a family trip

Pleasant area around the hotel, plenty of dining options. Downtown Wilmington is within a 15-20 minute drive.

It was an awesome mini Father's Day getaway. Everything was great until I received a charge on my card for breakfast. I literally was on the phone with my partner when the peeson who handled the order sad "it's a good thing that you have the coupon or it's a $30 charge. When inquiring about the charge, I was told that the voucher was not given to the person which was not true. I was told that it woild be back on my card. Other than that, it was a great stay

Great experience from check in to check out. Everything was clean, no smells, safe atmosphere. Make sure you pay the extra $12 for the breakfast, it’s worth it. Helen in the kitchen was amazing. Customer service at its finest. I would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.

The ladies during breakfast were fabulous! So accommodating and friendly!

This is everything one would expect from a Hilton property. The only negative experience was breakfast on my second day. The did not have the buffet, so I had to order from the menu. I chose Pancakes. I prefer my pancakes light and fluffy. I had to cut these with a knife. One other pet peeve. If you are going to list yourself as "Pet Friendly," why do you charge for the pet? The staff and facilities were excellent. I will stay here again, I just won't order pancakes.

Clean room, clean lobby, friendly staff. The only downside to this stay is the "full service breakfast at a cost". Where others offer a free breakfast (albeit, not the most luxurious), it is a cost I'd rather not incur if I had a choice. Since I did have a choice, I went to HT instead for a banana and coffee.
