pool was green and the chlorine burned my eyes as soon as i walked in pool room. It was very cold and irritated my skin when i went to feel it. There was not a good breakfast selection. Not a good area around the hotel. Rooms were clean though.

Staff shortage caused us to not be able to check in until after 6pm and only after several people raised their voices in protest. Was promised 1/2 off for the inconvenience. We shall see.... At check out, elevator broke, people were trapped in it, fire department had blocked several of our vehicles from leaving.

Overall this place was excellent. We loved the service and the staff, and how clean the place was. The breakfast was pretty good too. The only thing they need to make this place perfect is to add heater to the indoor pool. It was pretty cold when I went with my kids back in early April of 2025.

The elevator was always damaged, we were given a room on the fourth floor, we were on vacation with children and we had to go up and down the four floors daily many times, we asked for them to change rooms and they told us that everyone wanted the change of rooms because of the problem of the elevator and that they had no availability, we talked to the staff of the expedía to ask them to help us with what happened and they told us that they could do nothing, we asked for the cancellation of the reservation and they told us that they would not return the money due to hotel policies, that is to say that if or if we had to stay and go up the fourth floors daily. We went to drink water from the part where they put breakfast and a guy from the staff told us that we couldn't drink water from there and that we bought it in the fridge they had there to sell the water.

Well the first thing I saw when I opened the door was a dead cockroach. My son kicked in the hallway and it stayed there all weekend, even after the front desk was told. Other than that everything was wonderful.

We drove down to Wilmington to view some venues for our upcoming Wedding, at check in we were greeted with a smile and the process was quick. We went into the room to check the condition before we headed back out. The next morning as I am standing in the shower and look up at the wall, there it was. Not just a little bit, but a large area covered in mold that appears to have been there for a while. During check out I wanted to talk to the front desk about the unwanted visitors and was dismissed with a quick “I will have housekeeping take care of it” have a great day.

Overall the stay was excellent, pretty much everyone I dealt with was so polite and went out of the way to make sure everything was good. The only issues I had where the TV were kind of weird. There probably should have been a fan in the bathroom, and the door jammed on me at 2:00 a.m. when I was trying to get back into my room

It was very quiet and the room was large and spacious. Oh my goodness that kingside bed was so comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was amazing. I will definitely stay there the next time I am in Wilmington.

The stay was great until I got home and checked my bank statement. A fee was charged to my account with no email or call stating why. I called the Hotel and asked what the charge was for. The front desk stated it was a smoking fee charge. After telling the receptionist I do not smoke and never was any smoking done, she offered that the manager would call me. After an hour I still had not received a call so I called back. Another lady answered and stated once again there was a smoking fee charged and after asking again to speak to the manager she stated there was nothing they could do about the charge and that the charge needed to be disputed with my bank. Shocked that a smoking fee for ‘smelling marijuana in the area” was charged to my room and I never smelled anything the night I was there for my stay. Not to mention I was staying with my two year old son. After finally talking the manager he stated again there’s nothing they can do about the situation. Being wrongly accused of doing something I do not do and being out of a large amount of money has ruined the trip. I now have to fight the bank to try and get this money bank. The whole situation was handled poorly.

One of the worst experiences. Arrived on 8/19 at 4:30pm was told our room was not ready and it would be ready in an hour. We waited until 6pm followed back up with the clerk and was told the room was still not ready. The front desk clerk stated for our troubles we would receive a 50% discount and 1pm checkout. I had to change clothes in the bathroom for the concert we were attending. We went to the concert but had to leave early because we needed a key to enter the hotel after 11pm. When we returned back to the hotel the front desk clerk stated she said sold our room. We did NOT find the joke funny. We ended up checking out at 11:30 due to the fire alarm going off and I just wanted this nightmare to end. When checking out I asked the clerk on duty about our discount, and she stated she was not aware of a discount. She provided me the manager Jeff Staton information I tried calling and left voicemail and never received a call back. We also didn't receive our discount that we were told we would receive.

Unfortunately not all the receptionists were friendly especially the lady who booked us in on the first night, Sunday evening, didn’t seem to know what she was doing, especially when she knocked on our room door, two hours after she had checked us in and then she issued our door key to another strange guest!! Also asking us our surname. To check.

Started bad from beginning with them not being able to find me in system. Then i was told that i need to check out from my room which that was unnecessary at all even a employee admitted. Area is full of drug attics even in the parking lots. Then when i checked back in they gave me a room that smelled like Marijuana thankfully they moved me to the room i was staying last night, which mind you it was 3pm and still not cleaned. The only good thing about the place was Tasha she worked in front desk and helped me calm dawn a little by making my stay more reasonable.
