Airport shuttle stops running daily at 4pm and doesn’t start in the morning until 8am. This is very inconvenient for travelers outside of those hours. I would not stay at this property again for that reason alone. Also, our heating/cooling unit was not working and had to be “reset”. Staff were extremely helpful.

We checked in after a long drive and when we went into our room, it had not been cleaned since the last guest. The beds were slept in and there were towels on the counter and floor of the bathroom and washcloths in the shower. We called the front desk and they said they didn't have any other rooms that would fit us and that there was only one employee so he couldn't leave the front desk. We had to go down to the desk and get towels, sheets, and blankets. Then we had to make our beds and change the covers and put the dirty stuff in the hallway. The staff was not helpful or apologetic the next day. They said they could not refund us anything because we booked through a third party. I contacted hotels.com and they contacted the hotel. Then eventually they said that they could do anything either. They gave us a voucher in the hotel.com account, but not enough to make it right. The pool was also closed. We saw in reviews that it might be so we called and they told us it was fixed. Then when we arrived they told us we were lying or called the wrong place because "everyone who works here knows it is closed". Hard to believe when they can't even clean a room or own up to there mistakes. Sloppy management and a poor way to run a business!

I booked this hotel for two reasons. - Proximity to the airport, which it was; and - it advertised an indoor pool, but NO. The pool was being renovated. - it's sad when you book for a certain amenity and it's NOT available. I would have gone for a cheaper hotel with no pool, then pay for a pool and it's not a true amenity

The property is a building site. The airport shuttle did not operate at the times necessary to enable check-in to our flight (so we had to extend our car rental). It was a bad mistake to book this hotel.

I would rate this hotel much higher, except the complimentary shuttle service was not nearly as smooth as expected. Prior to my flight yesterday when I called the front desk early to verify things, they said from 5 AM-10 PM the shuttle runs every 30 minutes from the airport to the hotel. After exiting the airport at 7 PM, my family waited 45 minutes before I called again, and the staff said the same thing, but also that there was no shuttle because we didn't request one. Which is it? I shouldn't have to request a shuttle if it runs every 30 minutes! Finally, the shuttle showed up about 8:15-8:20 and there were 2 other passengers who also experienced the same predicament. Other than that, everything at the hotel was great, so it's unfortunate things went this way.

Breakfast was excellent! Extremely disappointed that the pool wasn't open-I called to ensure that there was a pool because I was traveling with my grandchildren. I even called Holliday Inn and was told there was a pool but when we got there it was closed for renovations. I would have booked iwth another hotel that did have a working pool, had I known

Pros: Our room was clean, and the hotel is close to the airport. Cons: Very noisy, even late at night. Groups of teenagers congregated in the hallway outside our room until at least 11:30 pm. We called the front desk for help with this, and they said they would address it. The noise in the hallway continued. We attempted to call the front desk for help with this again 15 minutes later, and were immediately put on hold. No one ever picked up the phone. It felt like we were staying in a college dorm. Terrible.

I really liked that this property was very convenient to all the major highways to make getting around easy. The rooms have been renovated and were very nice. I liked the option of the soft/firm pillows! The breakfast buffet was very nice.

Newly renovated, very nice and comfortable room. Breakfast was good, even the coffee was fine. And the lady at the front desk was really cheery and helpful. Not the greatest area for eclectic dining and leisurely evening strolls but close to the highway and the airport made it convenient.

You’d think a hotel like Holiday Inn would have soundproofing down, but I could hear my neighbors snoring, gargling, farting and talking on the phone. They were not loud, you could just hear everything in this ‘newly renovated” hotel. Staff were great though and room was clean.

The front desk employee on 2/15/23 was incredible! Our car battery was dead and we needed to get to airport at 6am. Without hesitation he grabbed a battery charger and came out to our car and helped us. I was so flustered I didn’t get his name but he went above and beyond for us and I’m so thankful. I will stay here again when flying out of Cleveland for sure!

Poor customer service. I called to tell them I was going to be one day late arrival on my reservation and they assured me it was OK. When I arrive they had me as a “no-show” and claimed to have no record of my calling, even though there was the record of my having added an additional day with a separate reservation by them. That’s basically calling me a liar and would they not uphold their lack of taking good notes on their end and took zero responsibility. I lost any credits I had from and had to rebook a new stay with them. I will never stay here again and they really missed out on what would have been one nights grace at a slightly lower rate because I will be traveling to Cleveland often now. The price of customer service and essentially telling me I was lying to them because they did a poor job in their own record keeping was completely uncalled for. At least I get to vote with my wallet and take what’s probably thousands of dollars over the next 18 months and spend it on better service elsewhere

The woman on the front desk made our night. The most friendly welcome and she went out of her way to make sure my 83-year-old dad had a room close to the entrance so he didn’t have to walk too far. She was very helpful in providing us necessary info for airport shuttle. She was overall the loveliest person, genuinely wanting to help us have the best stay. Very authentic.

Placed a request for a crib when I booked like a month in advanced. Arrived. No crib in the room. Asked reception about it and was met with attitude and disrespectful with questions like: “did you ask for one, did you look in the room, is he going to bed soon because we have other things to do” I arrived around 6pm and didn’t receive a crib until 10pm. This hotel and staff gives you all the conveniences and care you can ask for. From the shuttle to and from the airport or the red line train, to being within walking/driving distance of shopping and interchanges, not to mention a nice breakfast to start your day, plus staff that make the hotel warm and friendly, there isn't a better place in the metro Cleveland area to stay.

Everything was good at this Holiday Inn Express. Service was excellent. Breakfast was filling. And the rooms are big for a Holiday Inn Express property. Actually, the hotel deserves a 41/2 rating. Bob Evans restaurant sits next door. Will stay there again

This was not a bad hotel by any means but a little inconvenient for a few reasons. For starters the front is closed for remodeling or repairs and you have to use a side door to get in. Next the walls seemed thinner than your typical Holiday Inn Express, as I could hear a lot of hallway commotion and vehicles outside form the second floor. Lastly, breakfast was not great because the pancake machine was down, the drink machine was not working (so no water or juice), the cinnamon rolls were not set out early enough to be warmed and the staff was having an argument over staffing issues in a side room loud enough for me to hear. I went to breakfast around 6:20 so I assumed that would have been plenty of time to get machines turned on. However, the omelets were good and the bacon although greasy was really good. The bed was very comfortable, TV worked, shower was hot and refreshing and the toilet had a strong flush. Full size toiletries were available and plenty of towels. I would give this hotel another shot.

The bed and room was clean and comfortable. Went to breakfast and the staff was AWFUL! The lady that appeared to be the person to keep the food hot and fresh walked around rolling her eyes at guest, would walk behind the door and state “oh great there are more”, very rude and extremely unprofessional. To the point it made you feel uncomfortable that you would never stay again! The front check in staff were very friendly and welcoming!
