Great price for ultra clean room. Comes with a free breakfast which must be taken back to room as there is no dining area. Everything in the room from air conditioning to shower worked fine. Not a fancy hotel, but for the price you can't do better. I've stayed there every trip to Farmington and never had an issue. They have 24 hour security who keep the parking lot safe. There is a locked gate for levels 2 and 3 for added safety and security.

Beautiful location right next to the river path. Secured access to the upper floors. Incredibly friendly staff. Room was very clean, and great condition, and bed was very comfortable. They have over a half dozen security cameras all over the property as well, but the area seems pretty safe. It was a nice added assurance, though.

The property was clean and safe, you had to have a key to get to the second and third floor.

Awesome spot with many stores to go to with enough space for my truck and 40 foot trailer, with nice early morning breakfast!

Parking was easy. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

Clean and neat!

The smell of disinfectant was overwhelming, and nauseating. Then I spilled some clean water on the floor and when I wiped it up it turned a towel black - not clean but disinfected. The refrigerator froze everything. The security lock was hanging by a screw... And yes, it takes a few minutes to get warm water.

The cleaniness of the property....rooms are clean...

Check-in was fast. Room was not clean. Sheets were dirty and bedding and towels had stains. Floors were dirty. Bathroom smelled musty. There are laundry facilities which is a huge plus and I live the safety gates for getting up to higher floors. It was okay for a quick one night stay.

The front desk girls were super friendly, but that's about the only good thing to say. Our room could have been a little cleaner, and it smelled weird when we walked in, like a cross between cigarettes and some unidentifiable substance. The complimentary coffee in the room tasted like weeds and seeds. Save yourself the disappointment and get coffee somewhere else. We heard a lot of yelling and cussing in the parking lot which made me feel unsafe. I did not go outside without being escorted by a family member.

The rooms are always clean

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, but the water temperature in the shower was impossible to regulate. The shower curtain rod was mounted about an inch outside the shower head, giving an extremely narrow space to shower. There were stains on the fitted sheet.

Stairs and room floors are dirty. Poor maintenance, toilet (room 205) is flushing itself every 5 minutes.

The room was clean and the parking lot well lit. The stairs and outside halls were filthy and the lobby door was locked when we arrived at 7 pm. Breakfast was cold cereal and cold bland coffee. Please take them off your list.

This will be a hard pass for us the next time we stay the night in Farmington... Upon arrival homeless people were already scouring the parking lot asking for change. Once we got to the room we were met with a potent cleaning fragrance more than likely used to cover up the person before us who was smoking Marijuana in the room. We did find the odor coming from the a/c unit which we opted not to use that night do to the stench. We then proceeded to check the beds for any unfriendly visitors. The beds were found to be clean but under the beds was another story. The cleaners failed to clean under the beds and there for old dog feces were there along with an abundace of trash. Our bathroom toilet had not been throughly cleaned on the ouside. We experenced Noah's ark when taking a shower. The shower curtain rail was barely holding on. Therefore requiring you to hold the curtain the best you could to avoid flooding the floor. Overall we made it through one night. As far as an extended stay here I don't recommend it. I also proceeded to let check out know about these issues the morning we left.

There was no hot water, cold showers the whole time. They even had a plumber look. Plumber said that they need to upgrade their hot water tank.

Rooms were clean and somewhat comfortable, rooms are a bit on the small size. Unfortunately the air conditioner is loud, can't really control the fan speed to quite the air down..

Okay for a budget hotel but it was pretty noisy. The room smelled of air freshener so we had to air it out. The bed was clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptional. They were friendly and very helpful. The shower wasn’t the greatest. The water pressure was low and it was difficult to get a temperature that wasn’t either cold or really hot.

It is loud, gates slamming, hear your neighbor. Door has a gap. Everything else was good.

Rooms are very small each Queen bed is against the wall with maybe 2 ft between them. No chair to sit in or real place to work. It was clean just really crowded and dated.

My only complaint is the lack of space in the room; no place to hang clothes, and hardly any space for luggage. The staff was friendly and professional. My room was clean. The motel location is centrally and conveniently located. Overall, a great value, especially for families on a budget; I would consider returning in the future.

We were pleasantly surprised that our room had a fridge and a microwave. The room was small and did not have any drawers for clothes storage, but the bed was very comfortable.

The check in was excellent, by a very respectable, reliable, friendly desk receptionist.

The room was great however, the hotel staff is very unfriendly. They would not make accommodations for us and the walls are super thin. We could hear people going in and out of their doors going up to the second third floors all night long elevator. There’s also no elevator. We was there for medical trip and my partner had surgery and they would not accommodate us for an early check-in.

The desk clerk was very nice, however, we checked in after 9:00 pm & she gave us the wrong room number & key. Imagine our surprise when we keyed open the door & the room was already occupied. Thank goodness they had the safety latch engaged or we would have thrown the door open wide & walked right in! I pulled the door closed, shocked. The man opened the door, I apologized & explained what happened 😳. Thank goodness he was very understanding & didn't take the hotel's mistake out on us. Then I went back to the front desk, got an "oops" response & a key to the room next door. The room was a little smaller then I expected, but it was clean. We couldn't get the shower temperature over lukewarm & it kept dropping to downright cold. The key card took several attempts to open the gate & door every time we used it. The lighting was pretty dim making it difficult to get ready for our formal event & have any confidence in our appearance. This would not be my 1st choice for accommodations.

The receptionist was very friendly when we arrived. As soon as we entered our room, we could hear the air conditioner with a loud rattle. I called the front desk and within 5 minutes, maintenance was there to check it out. It was not something that could be fixed and within 10 minutes the maintenance man was back with a key to our new room that was bigger than the room we booked! I could not be more impressed with their service. The rest of our stay was fine. We were only there for a quick overnight stay but I would definitely recommend. Breakfast was fine for these types of hotels and there is a nice little park right next door.

the shower didn’t work our entire stay. it kept either having no hot water at all or scolding hot water. there was no in between. even after calling the first desk for maintenance, we still could not use the shower because of the lack of control for hot and cold water. their checkout time says 11am, however every morning, we were woken up by housekeeping banging on the door before 10am. this confused me because we stayed for a total of 3 nights and there is a sign that says “housekeeping won’t service your room unless requested or at the 3rd day mark.” not only was this annoying, it was irritating to answer the door and be awoken rudely just to tell someone “no, i don’t need new sheets.” please tell your staff to wait til after checkout time to bang on the doors.

I don’t typically leave reviews, good or bad, but I’d like to actually have this experience on file for other solo travelers. Especially women. I was only supposed to stay a night, but in the evening, I was in my room when I got up to throw trash & heard scratching. It was soft, like it was meant to be quiet. Turns out someone was trying to open my door. I yelled for the man to leave & he didn’t. Weird, right? I called front desk & cops because he wouldn’t go. Supposedly it was a key mix up, but his behavior did not reflect that. My issue was no one followed up. I sat in my room waiting for someone to call or come up, nothing. I ended up having to call because I was still unaware of the issue and felt unsafe to even open my door. I just felt the staff was either covering something up or just incredibly dismissive of their solo female guest being afraid. As if I was overreacting. And they offer me a comp day….when the last thing I want is to ever go there again. Not happy at all with the service or how I was basically ignored. Even if the mix up is true, they handled it poorly and didn’t think to stop and consider the single traveler alone in her room still wandering if it’s safe to go outside or not. I shouldn’t have had to wait for another 30 or so minutes alone, scared. They could’ve called or come up and apologized but nothing. I ended up choosing to leave back to Albuquerque around 9:30pm. I just think it’s a good PSA for staff to see this and understand the impact it has

Great Motel for the price, central location, beneficial.

Felt sketch to come to this neighborhood because I’ve heard of friends getting their cars broken into. My car survived the night, there was a homeless guy walking around the playground late at night. I think they had security on property, if not then that was just another strange man walking around. Staff was nice. The beds are twin sized beds. Hotels very clean. Hotel is great I think the neighborhood is concerning.

Budget friendly. Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff. Next to a park that was nice especially for kids. Appreciated the chocolate.

Great location right on the Animas River and very clean room with a very comfortable bed. What more could you expect for such a fair price. Oh and they also have a continental breakfast every morning and coffee anytime.

Affordable and convenient location. Rooms were clean, spacious and friendly staff. Breakfast is more like snack bar but we appreciated the cup of coffee in the morning.

Perfect stop for a road trip. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was grab-and-go and super convenient. They had welcome chocolates inside the rooms when we checked in.

The room is clean. Comfy. Newly renovated Except the bathroom. Toilet is old . Breakfast was a joke . Only coffee was good.

Breakfast was pretty sparse without even a toaster or place to fill up a water bottle, but everything was clean and in good order.
