I booked with Hotels.com and was added a fee for my pet which Hotels did not show on thier site. The hotel said they could do nothing as they have no control over the 3rd party bookings. The hot tub was closed and filthy and the pool was open with some item floating in the bottom of it. There was also lifted metal rails around the decking of the pool area. Furthermore, the picture listed with Hotel.com was of an indoor pool which they did not have. It was a $300 stay; checked in at 6:30pm and checked out 12 hours later thank goodness!

I paid such a high rate because my back and legs needed the hot tub and pool. Neither worked and took pictures as theu sent me to the hotel next door at another hotel It was a long procedure for someone who had problem walking. I have video if ofdistance Do not think price at this point is acceptable

We liked the overall staff interactions and breakfast was very good. The room was nice. My recommendation would be that, I would like the pillows to be a little bit more fluffier. They were kind of flat and for the hot tub to have been working it was empty, otherwise everything else was great.

The blankets look very old and dirty, we even found a small bug on one of the blankets when we first entered the room. Peeling paint on walls and ceiling, rusted bathroom hardware and lamps. Carpet looks dirty. Not enough lighting, feels depressing.

The property was located in a complex with many other hotels right off 95. Very convenient and safe. The room was basic, the bed was very comfortable. We did have a roach in our bathroom which happens but is not fun. Breakfast was mediocre, the coffee was weak, the oatmeal was bland and the fruit was canned. I’m not sure how this hotel got rated as high as it was. Overall not worth the $159 we paid.

We experienced a strong foul odor upon opening the room door similar to a moldy carpet or a wet dog. I called the front desk right away and asked the overnight attendant for a different room. She offered to look for one and call me back. While waiting for her call, I went to use the restroom. When I turned on the light in the bathroom a roach scurried under a baseboard. At that point I knew we could not stay in any room at that hotel. The toilet and trash can were dirty. I was so turned off, I didn’t even use the bathroom. I called my husband who had gone to park our car and told him about what I saw. Instead of accepting keys to the other room we informed the attendant why we could not stay there at all. She did not have the authority to issue a refund so she provided us with the business card of the guest service director who we could follow up with for a refund. I’ve stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites numerous times and this is the first time I’ve experienced anything like this. Such a treat after 10 hours on the road!

Unsafe and Unsanitary Stay at Hampton Inn Florence We reserved two rooms, and unfortunately, both had serious issues that compromised both cleanliness and safety. In one room, the bathroom was moldy and dirty, and the baseboards were caked in grime. Even worse, the mattress and padding were heavily stained with large, unidentifiable marks and appeared extremely worn and unhygienic. The second room bathroom faucet was leaking, which led to water pooling on the floor. During the night, a member of our party slipped and fell while trying to use the restroom. Thankfully, the injury was not severe. While the manager on duty initially apologized and attributed the poor conditions to “new staff,” she later denied any knowledge of these issues. We’ve always trusted Hilton properties to offer clean, safe, and professionally managed accommodations, but this experience was not only below standards- it was disturbing and unsafe.

This property is extremely clean and we decided to get the suite (it was like 8 dollars more than a regular room) and it is huge. I’ve stayed in Hampton inn “suites” before but this is twice as big. And it is clean and fresh, it smells good. They even have a thermostat for the living room and one for the bedroom. I was shocked at how big the rooms are. The TVs are new models (extremely flat, not like those “flat screens” that are 3 inches thick) Samsung LED TVs 50 inches at least. Check in was smooth. If you are debating between this and the Hilton garden inn or whatever else is in this class of hotel, I can guarantee you won’t find a bigger room, a better tv or a cleaner fresher room. Awesome.

Excellent stay! Front desk was efficient and friendly. Asked the right two questions regarding my service animal. Room clean, bedding clean. Shower was clean but could use a little updating for wear. Breakfast was great! Cheese omelettes, ham, pancakes, fresh waffles, fruit, muffins and all the things. Everything was hot and put out early! Even the tea water was piping hot. Hallways were very quiet overnight. Slept great. Perfect stay.

I liked the property until someone went into my room when I was out Saturday and helped themself to my white Samsung plug in mobile telephone charger from the desk. The facility was neat, clean. The bed was comfortable. But the theft of my property really disappointed me. I will never stay at another Hampton Inn.
