This property was beyond amazing. I do not have one negative comment. The hotel had a tranquil and welcoming feel, like a mini White Lotus, but it did not have all of the drama. Everyone who worked there was so accommodating and pleasant. My best friend and I were there for four nights and most of our interactions were with Neil and Jonel. I hope the hotel recognizes how fortunate they are to have such passionate and caring employees. Though small, the pool was perfect, and with only 11 rooms, none of the shared spaces ever felt crowded. It was the opposite, we hardly saw any of the other guests. Get the breakfast - top-notch. The rooftop bar was spectacular too. I wished we had even just one more day to stay at the hotel and continue to enjoy the magic of this special space. I cannot recommend Hotel Casa Don Luis Cap Cana by Faranda Boutique enough. And again, thank you, Neil and Jonel, for going above and beyond to make our time at your hotel so memorable.

I love this small boutique hotel. The staff were fabulous. We needed a few days to just relax, and this was perfect. The rooftop bar is a special place to spend the evening.

Discovered Faranda Cap Cana by luck. Reviews were excellent. It’s newly opened. Great property. Very quaint and staff is excellent. Choose the breakfast option in your booking. It’s delicious. Little plunge pool was perfect to cool off and the roof top patio is beautiful. Would be nice to have a bigger pool but access to nearby resort is included if you want. API beach is private and stunning. A little on the expensive side but worth a day visit. Noah and Drago Grill were our two fave restaurants. Used the SI Fit gym a lot ($10 daily pass). Nice feature. All the staff at the hotel is lovely and friendly. Very clean. Feels like a Spanish village. Very unique. We like quiet so it was perfect for a relaxing week. Set on the nearby marina and the views are beautiful! Recommend!

Loved the staff particularly the hospitality offered by Fray and most definitely Jonel. They made my experience feel at home. Will visit again for sure. Recommend a golf cart be used to transport guess to their cars as parking can be limiting and a bit far. Overall experience outweighs this minor inconvenience. Place is beautiful. Fully recommend.

The staff are very kind and really go all out. There are not too many options on what to do in Cap Cana, but we enjoyed the few restaurants nearby, and the lovely, peaceful roof terrace. We'd certainly return.

The staff at this property is incredible. We were greeted with coconut juice and champagne, along with chocolate covered strawberries. Everyone was friendly and happy to help. The restaurants here exceeded expectations. We were mind blown by how good the food is. The rooftop bar has possibly the best pina colada I’ve had. The nearby restaurant, Noah, is incredible all around. It’s very easy to get around as Ubers in the area is affordable. The area is also high end, secured, and quiet. The ocean views are gorgeous, and the property is well presented. Towels and bathrobes feel luxurious. Minor notes for improvement: We wished there were more outlets in our room (the only one we found that weren’t connected to electrical appliances already was the in bathroom). As we were on the ground floor, there were bugs that easily came in. Our AC was a tad broken as it made odd but persistent noises and required some fixing. What would have been our room better would be access to a microwave and a coffee machine (although these features weren’t advertised anyway). Note that the hotel provides a bar soap but no body wash. The toilet paper could have been thicker. Our TV didn’t quite work (it turns on but can’t access Netflix and Apple TV). The bathroom mirror looked like it was a smart light mirror but the light doesn’t turn on. We couldn’t find the iron in our room but the staff brought us one. Overall we were impressed with the hotel and would recommend staying there.

I don’t even know where to start. The customer service at this hotel is absolutely A1. I surprised my husband with a trip to Cap Cana for his birthday, and from the moment we arrived we were treated so graciously. During our check in process we were served very refreshing coconut water as well as some margaritas to kick off the weekend. Check in was quick and we were escorted to our room. Our room was clean and even had the birthday decorations I asked for. We later had issues with the air conditioning in the room, but that was resolved immediately. The hotel was able to accommodate us with a different room that was even more beautiful and well kept. We were then surprised with a romantic setup for the inconvenience upon our return from one of our excursions the following day. This hotel was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as pictured. The staff is courteous, friendly, prompt, & made us feel more like family instead of traveling guest. If I can give 10,000 stars I would. We will definitely choose Hotel Casa Don Luis if we ever return to Punta Cana! Thank you for your services.

Normally I don’t write reviews on hotel stay because when I pick a place to say, I’m literally just taking a bed to lay my head and so there’s really nothing special for me to talk about. However, in this case, the entire property was absolutely beautiful. It was beautiful in the pictures, but real life. It’s even more beautiful. The front desk workers were so amazing and so kind and so helpful, the food on the resort was absolutely delicious and again everything was just so beautiful. I have already decided that my next time coming to the Dominican Republic I will be staying in this exact same location And hopefully I can bring my sister and a couple of other people with me. The experience was amazing and I really appreciate them for making my first time in the DR as amazing and as beautiful experience. If I can give it 100 stars I would.

The hotel is situation in a nice, quiet marina area. There are multiple restaurants and activities within a short walking distance from the hotel. The staff at the hotel was wonderful and welcoming. I was able to manage well with only knowing a little Spanish. The staff was patient with me and there was someone on site that could speak English. The drinks and breakfast were delicious. We only had one issue with the hot water being out, but this was fixed rather quickly by the staff.

Best hotel I ever stayed in. Élégant, quiet, beautiful. We got the room with the veranda. It was marvelous. Breakfast on the veranda exquisite. The concierge Jonnel was amazing. He real care deeply about his guests. The speaks 7 languages, including French..which, I gladly spoke with him. He arranged for transportation and made restaurants reservations for us. Served us breakfast on our private veranda. Anything he could to make sure our stay was very pleasant. My wife and I will absolutely go back.

What a little gem! Among the big resorts and fast paced hotels, this small boutique hotel stands out for its uniqueness, accommodations, and an impressive staff led by Jonal. Our room was well appointed with quality bedding, comfortable bed and quiet AC. We were upgraded to room #1 that has a private sitting room where we had morning coffee and breakfast and afternoon tea. The attention to detail and service provided by Jonal and staff needs to be mentioned because it was the highlight of our experience. Every morning we were greeted with an excellent selection of breakfast options, my favorite was the waffles and eggs Benedict. The preparation and service worthy of 5 stars. Outside the hotel within a short walk are some excellent restaurants; I recommend Noah’s for seafood and The Scene for authentic Dominican fare. Also, Dolce, for a great selection of baked desserts and gelato. Unfortunately, we didn’t use the beach because of the seasonal seaweed that is attacking all of Punta Cana. But the community pool was a short distance and we spent an afternoon participating in the different pool activities. I should mention that the hotel has small pool, a great way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. There is also a cart that will take you and pick you up from the beach. The beach, is not walkable because of the road construction. Again, if you’re looking for a unique, slower, more personal experience, this is your place. I highly recommend, and would stay here again.

The staff at this property is incredible. We were greeted with coconut juice and champagne, along with chocolate covered strawberries. Everyone was friendly and happy to help. The restaurants here exceeded expectations. We were mind blown by how good the food is. The rooftop bar has possibly the best pina colada I’ve had. The nearby restaurant, Noah, is incredible all around. It’s very easy to get around as Ubers in the area is affordable. The area is also high end, secured, and quiet. The ocean views are gorgeous, and the property is well presented. Towels and bathrobes feel luxurious. Minor notes for improvement: We wished there were more outlets in our room (the only one we found that weren’t connected to electrical appliances already was the in bathroom). As we were on the ground floor, there were bugs that easily came in. Our AC was a tad broken as it made odd but persistent noises and required some fixing. What would have been our room better would be access to a microwave and a coffee machine (although these features weren’t advertised anyway). Note that the hotel provides a bar soap but no body wash. The toilet paper could have been thicker. Our TV didn’t quite work (it turns on but can’t access Netflix and Apple TV). The bathroom mirror looked like it was a smart light mirror but the light doesn’t turn on. We couldn’t find the iron in our room but the staff brought us one. The central garden feels like a private jungle retreat, peaceful and beautiful. Its marina location is excellent, surrounded by amazing dining options all within walking distance. The hotel also offers complimentary golf cart rides to the nearest beach, just a lovely 10-minute ride away. For more adventure, it’s only a quick $4 taxi to Juanillo Beach, which was wonderful. Guests can also enjoy pools located above the hotel in the marina villa areas, as well as a 24-hour bar right at the hotel. Near the pools, there’s even a cozy beach bar with a relaxed atmosphere. I surprised my husband with a trip to Cap Cana for his birthday, and from the moment we arrived we were treated so graciously. During our check in process we were served very refreshing coconut water as well as some margaritas to kick off the weekend. Check in was quick and we were escorted to our room. Our room was clean and even had the birthday decorations I asked for. We later had issues with the air conditioning in the room, but that was resolved immediately. Just one night before heading away from Punta Cana. The hotel is very cute, super friendly staff, quirky design. Very small pool. In a weird fake village, but with a few very nice restaurants. Would recommend as a stop over, likely not for more than 1-2 nights

Everything was great. We had a problem with the AC but were given another room with no problems. It is a great little spot if you are looking for some quiet time. It’s a little hard to find and the road is one lane for traffic going both ways so it’s a little tricky. But after you park it’s all good.

The staff, including a man who works at the front desk (the one who speaks multiple languages and is always in the best mood possible while being genuine and not overly fake which is a HUGE asset to a boutique hotel of this kind. I'm so sorry I forget his name, but you know who you are!) The breakfast was simply fabulous every morning and well worth the $25 for the quality and variety of the food you can order from the menu. It was simply devine. I travel a lot for work and also work in international hospitality so I mean it when I say it that you should try this hotel - you won't regret it!

Every morning we were greeted with an excellent selection of breakfast options, my favorite was the waffles and eggs Benedict. The preparation and service worthy of 5 stars. Outside the hotel within a short walk are some excellent restaurants; I recommend Noah’s for seafood and The Scene for authentic Dominican fare. Also, Dolce, for a great selection of baked desserts and gelato. Unfortunately, we didn’t use the beach because of the seasonal seaweed that is attacking all of Punta Cana. But the community pool was a short distance and we spent an afternoon participating in the different pool activities. I should mention that the hotel has small pool, a great way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. There is also a cart that will take you and pick you up from the beach. The beach, is not walkable because of the road construction. Again, if you’re looking for a unique, slower, more personal experience, this is your place. I highly recommend, and would stay here again.
What a little gem! Among the big resorts and fast paced hotels, this small boutique hotel stands out for its uniqueness, accommodations, and an impressive staff led by Jonal. Our room was well appointed with quality bedding, comfortable bed and quiet AC. We were upgraded to room #1 that has a private sitting room where we had morning coffee and breakfast and afternoon tea. The attention to detail and service provided by Jonal and staff needs to be mentioned because it was the highlight of our experience. The staff at this property is incredible. We were greeted with coconut juice and champagne, along with chocolate covered strawberries. Everyone was friendly and happy to help. The restaurants here exceeded expectations. We were mind blown by how good the food is. The rooftop bar has possibly the best pina colada I’ve had. The nearby restaurant, Noah, is incredible all around. It’s very easy to get around as Ubers in the area is affordable. The area is also high end, secured, and quiet. The ocean views are gorgeous, and the property is well presented. Towels and bathrobes feel luxurious. Minor notes for improvement: We wished there were more outlets in our room (the only one we found that weren’t connected to electrical appliances already was the in bathroom). As we were on the ground floor, there were bugs that easily came in. Our AC was a tad broken as it made odd but persistent noises and required some fixing. What would have been our room better would be access to a microwave and a coffee machine (although these features weren’t advertised anyway). Note that the hotel provides a bar soap but no body wash. The toilet paper could have been thicker. Our TV didn’t quite work (it turns on but can’t access Netflix and Apple TV). The bathroom mirror looked like it was a smart light mirror but the light doesn’t turn on. We couldn’t find the iron in our room but the staff brought us one. Overall we were impressed with the hotel and would recommend staying there.

Staying at Casa don luis was an absolute sensory pleasure. It was like an oasis with lush greens and trickling water fountain next to the gorgeous blue waters of Marina Cap Cana. The service was exceptionally warm (thank you Jonel and Alejandro!). The staff was attentive and made us feel so very special. The breakfast was absolute value for money, the views from rooftop bar were breathtaking and the calmness of staying in this church-converted property was unparalleled. Normally I don’t write reviews on hotel stay because when I pick a place to say, I’m literally just taking a bed to lay my head and so there’s really nothing special for me to talk about. However, in this case, the entire property was absolutely beautiful. It was beautiful in the pictures, but real life. It’s even more beautiful. The front desk workers were so amazing and so kind and so helpful, the food on the resort was absolutely delicious and again everything was just so beautiful. I have already decided that my next time coming to the Dominican Republic I will be staying in this exact same location And hopefully I can bring my sister and a couple of other people with me. The experience was amazing and I really appreciate them for making my first time in the DR as amazing and as beautiful experience. If I can give it 100 stars I would.

The hotel is situation in a nice, quiet marina area. There are multiple restaurants and activities within a short walking distance from the hotel. The staff at the hotel was wonderful and welcoming. I was able to manage well with only knowing a little Spanish. The staff was patient with me and there was someone on site that could speak English. The drinks and breakfast were delicious. We only had one issue with the hot water being out, but this was fixed rather quickly by the staff.

Staff were most helpful and the amenities were good. Transport to and from the property is problematic with taxi drivers trying to take advantage of you. Best to insist on using an Uber even if staff say it is difficult.

The hotel is beautiful, and we truly enjoyed our stay. However, the air conditioning in our room had to be repaired twice during our visit, which was quite inconvenient and affected our overall experience. We hope the issue is resolved for future guests, as the property itself is excellent.

This is a hidden gem in Cap Cana. The lobby and room decor was stunning. It's right in the heart of the restaurants on the water and loved the vibe of the area. The staff treated us like VIPs and took us in golf carts everywhere in the marina. Breakfast was superb. I can't recommend this enough.
