I enjoyed my stay at the Embassy. It was nice and just what I needed. House keeping came daily to clean the room, change sheets or make up the bed, and bring fresh towels. Staff was friendly upon checking in and out. The only drawback is there wasn’t any smart tvs to watch some of my favorite streaming shows. They only had cable with 41 channels. Also, the pool area at night was beautiful and romantic but as I was chilling in the hot tub several large cockroaches came out. They were literally playing, flying and swimming in the water. I notified the maintenance crew when they came in the pool area and they kind of just brushed it off like it was normal which it probably is. I understand that roaches are a very invasive species but this was just scary!

Scenery, room and onsite hotel was great! our room was very cozy and clean. One exception though. The pool and jacuzzi really need a cleaning. The pool was murky, and the Jacuzzi had some type of white cream of the sorts floating in it.

I think someone should be in the pool area at all times. I know that all the people that were in the pool didn’t were not staying at the Embassy Suites! Most of them had to be let in by someone else. At one point there were 14 people in the Jacuzzi.most of them had 2 and 3 year olds in the Jacuzzi with them. I planned to get in but once I saw this I changed my mind! Other than the pool area my stay was pleasant!

The check-in lady was not friendly but the breakfast staff were super nice, especially those at the omelet station! The breakfast buffet was great. The room and common areas were very clean and the bed was comfortable. We specifically booked this more expensive hotel for the indoor pool and hot tub but it was closed due to broken glass so that was very disappointing.

We love staying at Embassy Suites—the breakfast is always great; we love the evening reception with snacks and drinks; the atrium layout is appealing. The room was great and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the pool kept going out of service which broke my son’s heart since we were there on spring break. We specifically chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool and hot tub—my son’s favorite things—and we didn’t get to use it.

The pool is indoor hot tub didn't bubble that much. Breakfast is good has 4 elevevators. We had a suite shower was outdated. Had two events the same night so when we came back there was no parking. It was quit even tho it was indoor they were always cleaning had an area with chairs an tabels for smoking. Overall a good experience would stay again

My room was damp, the carpet was damp which explains the AC being at 62* when I walked in. The bathroom smelled of spoiled mop water, it was very difficult to take. The drain in the shower was clogged, furniture old and worn. It just wasn’t what ES used to be. The snacks offered were chip and watery salsa. Some type of trail mix that kids picked through. They offered well alcohol as your free drinks which some really like. It’s sad that any management would allow for a hotel to drop this far.

The elevators was slow and small. Took a while to come to third floor so we took the stairs. For breakfast there were so many people, the lines were long and there were a lot of kids running around the hotel playing and dripping water on floor, loud and playing in hotel. The room was a bit pricy for one night stay considering. The hotel needs a upgrade.

Disappointing Stay - Poor Cleanliness and Maintenance Our experience at this hotel was highly disappointing due to poor cleanliness and lack of maintenance. The carpet was old and visibly dirty, with stains throughout the room, including on the walls and in the bathroom. Many stains were subtle but disgusting upon closer inspection — there were dried spills, fingerprints, and even unpleasant spots around the toilet. The shower had extremely low water pressure, and the drain was partially clogged, making showers uncomfortable. The air conditioning only blew cold air and failed to warm the room despite adjusting the settings. Additionally, the couches and chairs were stained and looked neglected. To make matters worse, when my wife went to the pool, there were no towels available, adding to the overall sense of poor service and management. Overall, the state of the room was unacceptable, and we would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.

Front desk was extremely polite. The hotel was spacious and has a nice lobby. The only problem is the hotel is old, rundown and our room had hair all over the bathroom shower walls and curled up hairs on the mirror. Went to use the pull out and the blanket that came with it was sticky and stained. Very friendly staff, very filthy rooms.

The service was prompt and courteous. The tub was clogged I texted the front service Clerk Arianna and maintenance didn’t catch his name and room service didn’t catch hers either but was very pleasant. My only complaint is that you can tell house keeping skips corners with cleaning the rooms. I always come prepared! Lenin was not washed properly or without bleach maybe that includes the towels as well.

Our room was not clean. When we arrived, there was a pair of underwear on the closet floor, pretzel crumbs on the carpet, hair in the bathtub, etc. We were only given 4 towels for a room that slept 6 (and they knew from our reservation we had 5 people). We told the front desk about the underwear and they were just like "oh, sorry". They didn't offer to take care of it or any compensation. The breakfast was very good. The pool was very cloudy - not sure why - and the hot tub jets were weak.

When I arrived to my room I can tell the room really haven’t been cleaned. There was a blanket that was left in the room hair in the tub, sink, and the commode. The bed wasn’t made and it was hair on the bed. The amount that they charge they should be on point. This my first time ever experiencing The embassy in this worst case or condition. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

The lobby is nice and remolded. The staff were nice and helpful. But the rooms are not the best. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. I did leave a message for the manager that the room definitely needed to be cleaned better.

The bedroom window of room 301in which we stayed in was almost like there wasn’t a window install at all. We could hear everything outside side so clear and loud. As well as the entrance door into the room they should maybe work that. It is definitely NOT sound proof or any quietness in the room.

I’ve been to Embassy Suites before and enjoyed my stay, so I decided to try this one out. I’d say it was good, but not excellent. The maintenance guy was the best part. He was very attentive and kind. The rooms are super spacious and work well when staying with your family. The lobby is really lovely too. Some of the small issues: - the shower was clogged with hair. This was addressed quickly by the maintenance worker. - the indoor pool ceiling was leaking - the beds and especially the sofa bed were extremely uncomfortable and warped - it doesn’t take much to impress me when it comes to breakfast buffets, but this one was just not very good. Things were out of stock and the workers couldn’t keep up with it. It also just didn’t taste very good. The positives: - spacious rooms - maintenance worker being very responsive - lobby area

Called about cold room. They sent a technician. Even when the temperature was raised ten degrees instead of shutting air conditioning fan off it continued to blow very cold air. We ended up shutting total sytem down. Room was 65 degrees when we arrived.

Interesting hotel. Rooms feel older, but well maintained. Very noisy lobby, even late into the evening ( people yelling from the 3rd or 4th to family in the lobby. Lots of chatter drifting up to my room that faced the lobby on the 4th floor). Breakfast LOOKED good but there was a long line so I skipped it.

The rooms are well beyond needing a refresh. A majority of the power outlets didn’t work, the AC ran full cold for our 2-day stay - ever got cool, and the bedding was worn out. I expected better for an Embassy Suites. The atrium area is very noisy so refined l recommend you choose a room in the corners for quiet.

: Reservation Canceled Without Notice! Arrived late at night with my family, only to find out the hotel had canceled our confirmed reservation without any notice — no email, no call. The hotel is amazing...unless you get the german lady (Marion) who questions the black guy "are you a real doctor?" when my credit card says "Dr." and then proceeds to tell you that your payment won't go through while she is obviously trying to "check up on you." I called my bank and they confirmed that no payment had been denied, just as my online statement stated. And yes, I did complain to the manager, who was very professional and decent...and didn't even try to defend the racist comment of her staff. It's 2024, and black people can be as qualified as any one else...unless you're Marion from Germany!

I received a text from Patrick asking how my room was, that was a nice touch.I was surprised that the happy hour was only 5-630, instead of 5-7. 2 bartenders behind the bar but only 1 servicing the free drinks. Line was long and other bartender didn't seem to have much to do. I requested a 7:30am wake up call but it never came. Thank goodness I only use as a back up.

Great place! Staff was friendly. We had to wait for a room until 6pm but beyond the rocky start everything else was amazing. All the staff was kind and helpful. But let me say I have never enjoyed such an amazing complimentary breakfast like I did at this property. I will definitely be making future Jacksonville booking for this place!

The hotel is beautiful and the room was perfect. However, check in is at 4 and when we got there at about 4:00pm the room was not ready. Waited over an hour and half to get a room. We were there for a concert and needed to be ready to leave by 5:30. After driving almost 4 hours we were hoping for a little time to relax before having to get ready. Didn’t have time to shower or anything. As matter of fact I had to get ready in the lobby bathroom. We were not happy at all. Booked the room months in advance to not even be able to use the room was ridiculous and unfortunately we were not the only ones waiting.

Love Embassy Suites. The rooms were great..similar to other ES hotels. The breakfast area was small and very crowded…more than other ES. The area is nothing special…only stayed there because we went to a late night concert in nearby Jacksonville.

I stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Jacksonville Baymeadows while I was in Jacksonville for my friend's wedding. The hotel offered free parking (open lot, not covered parking garage). Great stay. Breakfast is so much better than other hotels. Room was spacious and very clean. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Grandkids loved the indoor pool. Only one small issue, check-in took a while because there was only 1 person working the desk at 4pm check-in, they probably need at least 2 for the first hour of check-in.

Without a doubt, the worst embassy suites I’ve ever stayed at. the staff were great, but the facilities are in desperate need of update and repair. the managers reception : The drinks were good, but the food was sad and it really wasn’t food. It was like carrots and chips and Chex mix or something Same every night nothing to write home about. Breakfast was also very limited just not a lot to choose from and what was there wasn’t fantastic.
