Hampton Inn Jacksonville East Regency Square

Good breakfast, clean rooms and good amenities. The air conditioning was not functioning in the hallways. Felt like a sauna.

We were just there overnight. It was clean and comfortable but several things were broken or out of order including the pool. The gym was very basic and the tv and bike did not work correctly. The people who worked there were very friendly and helpful.

The staff at this hotel was wonderful very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. I parked my car on the back of the hotel because my room was on the back first floor. At night outside having a cigarette in my car I noted some homeless folks coming out of the woods behind the dumpster use caution at night time around the hotel. I would say the pool was a bit unkept and definitely not heated. Very cold couldn't get in to swim unfortunate I was very much looking forward to it.

Check in was great. Staff was courteous & friendly. Our room was clean & tidy and the hotel was quiet. We came into town for the Luke Combs concert & had a great experience, even offering shuttle service to the venue with a small fee.

The young lady that checked us in was polite and professional. The thing that was not cleaned was the pool. It had bugs and leaves floating. Other than that, 5 stars.

They gave us two room that wasn't even cleaned yet. Halls and elevator were dirty and hot. Beds uncomfortable. A/c wasn't consistent. It was either too hot or too cold

Great place to stay. Quiet, clean and good breakfast. Really warm in the hslls on the 5th floor but the room was comfortable.

Stay was ok. We stayed before taking our cruise. Pool was murky and dirty. Breakfast was nice. All staff very kind helpful and friendly. Area nice felt safe.

The fit and finish is not up to Hampton standards. Elevators were hot, slow and noisy. Room looked redone but the work was subpar.

The rooms are in need of a deep cleaning and the property itself is getting run down. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. They were very busy cleaning the public areas of the hotel, I just wish that attention to detail was also performed in the rooms.

The hotel room was beautiful, but not clean. I took a shower and when I grabbed one of the towels in stunk like someone else’s BO. As I was packing up to leave I noticed tiny bugs on both beds.

Affordable option for our needs, but several of the lights in the room were out. There was something sticky on the floor around the AC unit and the room wasn’t the cleanest overall.

Pros: friendly staff, nice breakfast items, comfortable beds. Cons: Jacksonville in the summer is blazing hot and humid. The hotel rooms seem to suck in that humidity so that towels, bedding, clothing - everything seems wet. I heard several people remark about how humid the rooms were. Floors were not swept well. The maids removed trash and changed towels, but did not make beds. Lightbulb in my room went out- took two days to get it changed. Tub was slippery - had to ask for a rubber mat. Shower doesn’t get very hot and water pours from the faucet when the shower is on. We won’t stay here again.

Had stayed at this hotel two years ago and it was wonderful. It has really gone downhill. Dirty and room was musty smelling . . . like A/C not efficiently removing humidity from air.

Hard to rest comfortably when roaches are in your room.

The floor was sticky.

The whole hotel smelled musty. The sink did not drain. Rooms were VERY humid.

No bathroom toiletries in the room, air conditioning makes everything damp in the room, floors sticky, bed uncomfortable.

Water pressure on 5th floor was terrible. Not acceptable at all. Otherwise a great stay.

This place needs a big update. The 4th floor was hot when u get off elevator. Our room 414 the air conditioning didn’t work At all

Inadequate water pressure in shower and very little pressure because bottom of tub faucet leaked. No safe available in room or at Main counter. Refrigerator made rattling noise all night along with vibration from room air conditioning unit in window frame. Disrupted sleep. Not recommended.

Overall, the rooms were pretty standard. The lamp fixtures were a little loose and shaky,

This was a nice value hotel! The staff was great, very friendly and very helpful. The LVT or tile floors throughout, were a bit cold, and our mattress was ready for retirement! The room was exactly as advertised. Plenty of outlets and lights throughout. The shower had nice pressure and was roomy. The breakfast was very good! There was a variety of food that changed everyday, but then there were the fruit and pastries, oatmeal bar, and 2 make your own pancake stations. A short walk takes you to Ruby Tuesday's & Cantina Louie's - A MUST STOP FOR MEXICAN FOOD & MARGARITAS! Plenty of parking in a well lit lot.

Found one one old sock in the chair in the room. Didn’t like the pillows as they crushed down to nothing.

Room 411. Part of window covered by very thin curtain and many lights outside. Drapes could not cover the part of window over air conditioning system.

Beautiful and elegant hotel. Staff are amazing. Well trained. Professional, polite helpful above and beyond. Everything very clean. No complaints. Specially the lady who prepares breakfast, mrs. Tina & Mrs Wendy wow, what an amazing helpful patient with the kids and older people there very clean very organized this country and world need people like her. Praise and glory to God for these amazing women. They should train so they can be an example to others. To love and respect others and their jobs. Thank you and lots of blessings. We will keep coming to this hotel. A perfect 10.

This was not our best stay here. The floor in the room was quite dirty. When taking a shower, black smudge would come off our feet. When the shower was turned off there was a very fast drip, drip, drip of hot water. The check-in evening and regular daytime staff were friendly and helpful. We had asked about to-go bag breakfasts as we had seen several made up on the counter one day. Multiple different staff said that they would be available in the morning. We were checking out at 3AM and told them that. Several different staff assured us that yes, even at that time, there is a staffed desk and we could get a to-go bag. At 3 AM on Monday 10/16/23 there was no one at the counter. We called out a couple of times before a lady from the breakfast kitchen prep area answered us. She would not come speak to us and had NO INTEREST in helping us at all. She said the other staff had lied to us and no bags were available. A friendlier person may have said, let me see what I can do. This event kind of ruined our view of the hotel. As mentioned, the other staff we talked to over the 4 days were all friendly and helpful. This AM kitchen person was neither friendly or helpful. If a manager sees this and would like to respond or call, my information is on file. Room 522, 10/12 - 10/16

One staff person was extremely out of line, rude and obnoxious and proceeded to rant nonstop.

Jamar was so friendly, courteous and helpful at check in. Assisted us in getting a second room. He was one of the most pleasant clerks we have ever dealt with and truly appeared to love his job and people. I never got the name of the breakfast lady, but she was amazing! She kept the whole area clean and tidy, fully stocked and checked on us several times to make sure we had what we needed. The room was clean and comfortable and we felt safe in the area and hotel.

Terrific staff. The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice. Breakfast buffet is wonderful. We travel to Jacksonville several times a year and always stay here. Employees are efficient and friendly .

Was great location to interstate as well as to and from the airport Close to places to eat. Preferred going out to breakfast with Cracker Barrel just a minutes drive.

Peaceful, It’s kind of secluded behind a Mexican restaurant but access to so much around. Would definitely stay again.

Overall outstanding place to stay. the front desk help is amazing very respectful and courteous. The breakfast was very good and the area this is in is perfect and close to major shopping, stadium, colleges and beaches.

My favorite part of my stay was the desk clerk, a young black gentleman. He was the best! The breakfast lady had the breakfast area looking great and food was good and hot!

Breakfast was terrible, front desk staff was not happy to be there, not sure why but cops were camping the hotel out, bed and pillow were so uncomfortable.
