The staff was VERY friendly but unfortunately the facilities were lacking. The room we were put in smelled like stale smoke. The main entrance and foyer were nice and clean, but the room was dirty with hair in the shower, bathroom floor felt greasy but also sticky? The mirror over the bed had smudges everywhere and the bedding was thrown on haphazardly. Overall I think you get what you pay for, but this facility could easily make the customer experience better with cleanliness and attention to detail.

Disgusting. I gave this place a second chance and it was so much worse. The second floor smells strongly of mold. The room smelled like a cigar. The carpet was damp. There was a long black hair on the bathroom counter. There were long black hairs on the blanket when I pulled back the cover which had dark stains, plus there was burn through the blanket from a cigarette. There were 3 Combat bug traps in the room and I still woke up with bug bites. The refrigerator is loud and makes mechanical noises constantly. They don’t clean on the sides of the bed on the floor and there was literally a fingernail clipping. My clothes smell absolutely disgusting from being in this hotel. Don’t stay here if you have any dignity.

The Issue with this place is cleanliness!! If I absolutely did not have another choice for the night I stayed I would not have remained there. Toilet still had urine on it from previous guest. Hair on and around the sink. Hair- and I mean a lot of hair on the wall of the shower. Smell in the room was bad! Would under no circumstance stay here again. Lesson learned!

The room had old carpeting that was not clean. I saw a dirt in the shower and hair on the bathroom counter. The bed was OK. The bathroom curtain had stain along the bottom. I did not trust to put it in the shower. The front desk staff were helpful and easy to work with. The breakfast selection is extremely limited.

There hair all over the toilet. There was dried up urine on the seat of the toilet and around the whole rim of the toilet seat underneath it. The room smelled of loud urine and wet carpet. There was shreds of long blonde hair in our bed as if someone had just got out of the bed and oulled the covers back. There was hair all over the shower it looked like someone had just shaved in the shower. I have pictures to prove these accusations. I want to request a full refund. I had a family member that checked into a room 2 doors down from me and she also had similar issues the housekeeper was a heavy set Caucasian woman with purple scrubs her. Her words were i did clean the room but i didnt check to see if the bathroom needed cleaning. We are beyond disgusted with service.

This was the filthiest hotel room that I have ever stayed in. Blood was on the sheets, the AC was filled with black soot, and handprints were on the walls. The bathroom was filthy, the floor was dirty, the fridge was caked in grime and the room looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. There were so many random spill marks and grease piles all over the room. The elevator smelled like urine and cigarette smoke. Our no-smoking room also smelled like stale cigarettes. I wish I had more pictures but I didn't want the jump scare on my camera roll.

Convenient to reasturant. Easy check in. But the room smelled musty and music was noisy through the walls. Light in restroom worked only when all other lughts were on. So you had to turn all lights on to go to restroom

Front desk staff was unprofessional, room had stains on the walls, smelled like mold, and the remote for the TV didn’t work. I relayed this to the front desk manager and asked to be put in a different room. he fixed the remote and ignored the other issues I mentioned as well as my request for a different room. The remote stopped working again shortly after but I didn’t see the point in going back up to the desk to ask for help. The WiFi also did not work which was very frustrating so I had to use my phones hotspot to use my laptop. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a worse hotel than this one. The only positive was that I was only staying overnight so thankfully I didn’t have to endure this for more than 12hrs. 100% was not worth the money, I’d have a better experience sleeping in my car.

This property charges a deposit of $50 just be prepared. I didn't know and I didn't have the deposit or a way to get it. The front desk worker was very unhelpful he just kept saying I had to come back at 930 and speak to manager, but that without the deposit he couldn't give me the room, and room non refundable!! I came back and talked to the manager. she is adjusting my reservation for tonight and is only chargingba $10 deposit. Thank god I won't loose my money.

GARBAGE. PURE GARBAGE. The rooms were disgusting, the staff were rude and difficult, there were zero “amenities” and I felt very unsafe. Couldn’t even get coffee in the morning. Then all three items (1 soda, 1 candy, 1 chips) I got out of the vending machine were expired. I informed the front desk guy of this and he rolled his eyes and said he “would’ve refunded” me but because I (very unfortunately) took a bite of the candy he couldn’t do anything. It also took me over a week to get my deposit back.

When I arrived I was told I cannot check-in early without being charged an extra fee. I have to wait until exactly 3pm to get a room. Then they take an additional $50 deposit and hold it for 5-10 business days. So it's not as cheap as you think and you only get a low budget motel room that's old and dated. They took a slow time with the check-in process after making me wait until 3. They gave me a room that was not clean or ready. I had to return to front desk and get a new room then she gave me keys to a new room that didn't work so back to the front desk again. Just not even worth the money really. The breakfast compliments were not out at the time they said breakfast would start and there wasn't much to offer. Big disappointment. Stay elsewhere.

After not having power for 22 hours we finally decided to get a hotel. Staying here before in 2015 and having a good experience we thought this would be a good place to stay. However the environment was sketchy with the type of people hanging out. The entire building had the worst smell u could imagine. The first set of keys didn’t work had to get a 2nd set for them not to work then had to go wait in maintenance for 20 min in hallway for the door to still not work. Asked front deskto switch us to a different room because obviously it would have been harder to get a refund for him to lie and say that they were completely sold out. He made us wait another 45 min before changing our room. Then we had to endure someone sounding like they were being beaten all night from screams. I understand you pay for what you get but this beyond the worst experience I have ever had and will report to BBB. There’s definitely either drug dealing or sex trafficking going on here. I absolutely feel a complete refund is more than due for this

This was the scariest hotel I have ever stayed in my life! We reserved the hotel online as a stop over for our drive to Florida it was 8:30 when we got there people we smoking pot in the parking lot! There were drug dealers in and out lots of activity I. The parking lot! This is a drug dealing hotel and it was scarey I was traveling with my child as soo. As it was light we brushed out teeth and got out of there as fast as we could! We stopped based on the beautiful pictures on the internet i to moose the rooms are.disgusting! No plug in the tub for my child to take a bath in the tub it was gross and scarey! I do not recommend you stop at this restaurant especially if you children! Absolutely the scariest hotel experience I have ever had!

Rooms and staff were nice. Alot of gas stations, fast food hotel is right off of I95 & 202. Only thing was a few homeless/addicts were mopping around the area but thats almost all over Jacksonville. I would come back and stay.

First let me say that the staff and the on site management were GREAT! They are doing "more" and working with "less". My rating is not a slight against them. This is directed to the Leadership. You should really consider doing some upgrades. Everything is dated. Poor water pressure, cleanliness, people hanging out in the parking lot, breakfast? I\'d recommend this property if it\'s just the guys, because we\'ll sleep anywhere. Not a place I\'d bring my daughter or a significant other. The location is perfect. Near downtown and the shops at Town Center.

Old Microtel, would not stay here with kids. But solid value in the center of Jax. Easy to go to beach, UNF, Clay County, Downtown, or Northside from this spot. Lots of dining near by.

The pictures advertised isn't the way it's presented in person. The room overall stank like mildew, the carpet, the walls were filthy i kept all of my things in the bathroom tub till it was checkout time. The staff was smoking outside of the no smoking 🚭. Terrible attention to customers. Drug dealers and customers running in and out. No sense of safety at all! The vent in the bathroom was filthy, cigarette burns on the comforter, floor. The first thing that we noticed when we walked into the room was the smell of mold, like the carpet had been wet and not cleaned. The sheets were itchy and the decor was out-dated. The website stated a continental breakfast but in all of my travels that never meant oatmeal, cereal and bagels.
