Unfortunately the pool was not operational while staying there, which was such a disappointment for the kids. Also on website I booked a Queen Suite but the lady at the front desk tried to give us a smaller room. We had to go back and state we booked the queen suite on website, expected that to be honored.

This was the worst stay in IHG. The pool was closed for construction which wasn’t underway, the doors didn’t work other than main lobby , there were no blinds or drapes in room and outside light shining right into windows near beds.

The staff was good. However, the only reason we booked this location was because it said and showed pictures of a working hot tub. The hot tub area was completely filled in with bricks. Website and expedia needs updated. We would have booked elsewhere if we had known.

THERE WAS NO TV MENU/GUIDE/INFORMATION/DISPLAY IN THE ROOM OR ON THE TV MONITOR ON ANY CHANNEL. THE OUTSIDE SIDE DOOR DID NOT LOCK AT ALL. ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS TO GIVE IT A SECOND QUICK PULL, REGARDLESS OF THE TIME. THERE WAS A 1-2" BLACK CRAB IN THE BATHROOM ONE MORNING WHEN I AWOKE.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. However, they work for Holiday Inn, not Orkin. So having roaches in a brand new renovated room was a little off-putting. Their was also hair in the shower and the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall.

I checked in late and just wanted to sleep in a clean comfortable room for the night so I picked this place because it was rated at an 8 for cleanliness however upon arrival I went straight to the shower then to bed, but on the walk from the bathroom to the bed my feet became sticky with a nasty film In Just a few steps so I had to get a towel to lay on the floor and a wet washcloth to wash my feet off before I got in the bed I was too tired to complain. I just wanted to sleep. I just hope they cleaned it up before the next guest came. However, the front desk did add a few points on my account for the inconvenience but that was still a bad experience. I don’t mean to put the property down however, my room just happen to be not the best. But it seems that other people didn’t have great experiences But I just figured I would share my experience. The breakfast staff was very upbeat and polite. I did not eat breakfast however, it seemed like they had a reasonable breakfast bar downstairs. The coffee was good.

Very clean, comfy beds and nice staff. This is the perfect place to stay the night before cruising out of Jax port. Wendy’s next door gets crowded on the morning of departure for cruises so plan accordingly if you want lunch or breakfast. Hotel did serve a decent breakfast as well.

The night desk attendant was too Drunk or high to check my family in to their rooms and there was no one else on the property to help. She managed to give them key cards to their room and we found out the next morning they were never checked in. New staffing is needed, when complaining to the person on the morning shift she said it wasn’t the first complaint about her. Also the breakfast wasn’t great and the food ran out really fast due to people taking multiples and nothing being refilled.

This hotel is pretty much it near the cruiseport and the zoo. Otherwise, the area is fairly deserted. Dining options are the Wendys next door or have it delivered. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The hotel looked clean. There was some traffic noise from the expressway but it wasn't terrible. If I were going on another cruise, this is the place that's the most convenient.

Only major complaint I have is that during my three night stay. Me and my other guest had to change out the room keys at least 5 times. We were located on the third floor so going up and down constantly to have them switched out was a headache. Also, the keys didn't work on the side entry doors either. Other than that everything else was smooth sailing.

I had a decent stay, the hotel was clean but completely empty. Most of the lights were off in the lobby at night. The morning breakfast was nice as it included yogurt and various cereals as well as some eggs. The room and bathroom were clean. Overall good stay!
