Quality of your stay at the crowne plaza very much depends on which Tower you are staying at. Tower 2 rooms are dated and run down and the entire area is undergoing a major renovation. In the near term the quality of your room will be very much dependent on which tower you are assigned. Also they have started charging for over night parking. Although complementary with my room it was a pain to download an app and enter car details. Plan to take a break from staying here until they sort their issues out

The new updates are coming along. The elevators are still suspect, jumping and noisy. The grounds need improvement. Check in was very smooth. Service overall very good. The restaurant food is good but overpriced.

Early checkin was helpful. The elevators are on one end of the hotel so if you get the room at the other end it's quite a shlep, especially with luggage (no help there). Their website said they had an EV charger but they did not. It also failed to mention the "heated" pool was closed.

We are traveling to Tampa and stopped here as a halfway point in our drive. The hotel staff is very friendly, the Prosper bar/restaurant has a nice vibe, friendly staff, and delicious food (try the fresh catch tacos!). The bonus (for me) is the pool, which has lap lines to swim. Definitely a perk in an outdoor pool! The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. We didn’t need anything additional for our stay.

Thought being a “Crown Plaza Hotel”, it would have been much nicer. Older property, appeared to be undergoing renovations. After walking in the lobby, realized I stayed here 4yrs ago and condition has not changed. Stayed in “Tower 2.” Construction debris scattered about, despite being on “Executive Level” floor. However, the room was decent and clean, but dated. You must pay for parking at this hotel ($12.89), which was not anything special (not covered, no gate, no security to be seen). Staff was friendly and helpful. Did not use restaurant or bistro, but looked clean and welcoming. Could have stayed at competitors hotel for same price once parking was added. Would not bring my family here.

The lobby is beautiful and the hotel staff are especially nice. The room looks like it has not been remodeled since the 90s very old. I booked the hotel because in the photos it showed the room had a couch as well as beds that was not the case. Overall, would not stay at this hotel again until it’s remodeled.

The hotel lobby area was really nice, but the room itself wasn’t that nice, I paid for a premium room and that was not what was pictured on their website for the room I was supposed to be in. It’s very dark and dingy and looks old. For $135 I wouldn’t go back here to stay. Only plus is there is a shuttle to the airport that runs every 15 min

Staff at front desk, shuttle and bar were all friendly!! You call the hotel for the shuttle when you get to the shuttle pick up and it just so happens they were right there as soon as I got there. TV is great size with a lot of channels. Bed and pillows are comfy. Room was clean. The pool is a nice size. Dunkin is next door and a gas station with a store and within walking distance of a few restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel. There are plenty of vending machines and a little store inside also. I would def stay here again!

From start to finish of our trip staff at Crowne Plaza made it a comfortable and seamless experience. We were picked up by the shuttle from the airport and brought to the hotel. Assisted by the best of the best at the front counter during check in and check out. Breakfast was amazing and worth the $ for the experience. Thank you to all of the staff who helped us, answered any questions we had and pointed us in the right direction. Thank you to the shuttle drivers as well. Would definitely book again. 10 out of 10!

This was the 3rd hotel we stayed in our trip to FL. The other2 were fantastic. This hotel needs some help. I hate it when I walk up to the front desk and there are two employees working on other tasks (sorting keys or something) with no acknowledgement that I'm standing there. They really seemed like they didn't care at all. They could at least acknowledge that I'm there and say they'll be with me in a minute. Instead they just kept doing what they were doing and after about 3 minutes one of them said can I help you? I already had my credit card and driver's license out. It was obvious what I was there for. Just really poor customer service.

The property is very well situated close to the airport. It has lots of open space and sunshine. The lobby is very attractive and I wanted to visit the lobby which serene. The room is for a family member. I visited it and was impressed with the cleanliness, the sunshine light, and the layout of the interior. I’d stay there. My relative was so impressed that they thanked me for making the reservation there.

Wonderful vibe the moment we arrived. Met with a lovely gal at the front desk. Found that the bar was still open and serving food close to midnight, which was a plus. Despite some construction going on, we slept soundly in a comfortable bed and found the room spacious and clean. But I think my absolute favorite thing about this hotel is that their breakfast hours are from 6 to 11 which saves me from having to get up earlier than I prefer just to grab my breakfast. Whenever I have to fly in and out of Jacksonville, this will be my go to hotel.

Very nice - updated decor, terrific lobby hub with bar for the evening and Starbucks stand for morning grab and gos. Breakfast buffet was generous with just the right balance of staff support and self-service. Room was clean and spacious with plenty of USB and electrical outlets. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in the area. Close to the airport w shuttle and only 30 mins south of Fernandina Beach.

Was needing a friend from out of town and we had a great time we ate in the dining room and we sat by the pool with a totally great time. Then we ate breakfast in the morning was very reasonable and very good and was done in record time

Called a day ahead to confirm my reservation and was told "we changed ownership last month and no longer use hotels.com and cannot find a reservation for you"... when I protested that I had prepaid and offered her a confirmation number, she put me on hold for awhile, then came back on the phone and said "we found your reservation and will honor it" and hung up on me. Then I was sent a pre-checkin form and have Wyndam my credit card and ID info but when I arrived to the hotel, they could not find that, either. Evening staff at checkin was very nice, but clearly the reservation process oj their computer was not functioning well. Finally got the room and all was well until we tried to use the airport shuttle. The man was very rude to my daughter, who was trying to find out time of next trip to the airport. All in all, not a place I would recommend.
