Was in town for several days of appointments at Mayo. The free shuttle was very reliable and responsive—major selling point. There was a Publix, Tropical Smoothie, and Marcos Pizza in the same strip. The room was extremely spacious. Only downsides: no freezer section in frig, smoking area right outside entrance so smoke permeated the entire lobby, and a wasp in the room.

Perfect hotel if you need to to go to mayo Clinic, only one exit away , they have a shuttle which saves you a lot of money and walking. Wonderful staff, a great value.

Visiting Mayo Clinic…..excellent hotel. Staff were all outstanding and friendly. Breakfast was was a “real” breakfast, including hot items. Hotel shuttle was a blessing….on time going and returning. Surrounding area covered everything from shopping to the beach. Publix was within walking distance. Also, the price was within most budgets especially for a week long visit to a hospital. I wish I could rate this hotel higher than “Excellent” because it is!

Pretty good hotel overall, clean and comfortable. Nothing too fancy. Only complaint was the advertised indoor pool but it’s still technically outdoor and was very cold. The workers were very friendly & one guy even blew out the sand out of our vehicle while he was blowing the parking lot

It is close to the Mayo Clinic. There is work being done on the hotel, so it was noisy during the day, but it stopped mid-afternoon. Need some sort of sign on the A/C that it is controlled at the thermostat across the room and not at the unit in the window. Traffic is bad in the afternoon, but that is not Holiday Inn's fault!

The staff was great. Exceptionly clean. Walking distance to shopping and resaurants. Quiet and peaceful. The pool looked nice and clean but it was raining so i can't say how the water was. Spectacular gym area and equipment.

This hotel had a lot of mold. Difficult to breathe in our room. Our initial room had black mold on the ceiling from water damage. I have pictures. They moved us to another room and still more of the same. Lobby sitting area by the tv also had mold. No where to escape it. Unfortunately all hotels were sold out due to the tournament, otherwise would have left that place.

Tried to check in at 3pm, was asked to wait because room wasn't ready. Waited at the lobby over 90 minutes to check in. I asked the front desk employee every 30 minutes and all I heard was her blaming housekeeping. Very unprofessional. I could have drove back and forth to Saint Augustin instead waiting for that room. Had to asked for the manager and reached out expedia in order to get the room.

The check in went well. Room was clean. But gunshots were heard outside during the evening. Breakfast was the disaster. No reasonable breakfast food. No bagels. No egg products. Only 1 muffin and 2 pieces of bread were remaining. Sausage was there but was dried out. Waffle maker was working but that’s not too healthy. No citrus products. Only koolaid and milk to drink. Breakfast area had a flickering ceiling light that gave us headaches. A door/window was under construction with exposed insulation, wiring, framing, etc. Complete eyesore, and hopefully that was all and there were no hidden health and safety issues we were exposed to. Overall I won’t return.

The hotel was new or newly remodeled. Most stuff worked but the hvac was problematic. Hard to get the temp right. Too hot or too cold. Breakfast was being run by someone who didn’t know how to do the job. The juice machine put out water. The auto pancake machine didn’t put out pancakes but acted like it worked. The food was cold. Potato’s undercooked bacon cheap.

Clean rooms. Rooms are not quiet. Lots of road noise, loud a/c, and construction. Free breakfast not very good and if you go down there later in the time frame, there was not much left and when I asked if they would refill food I was told no with a half a hour left.
