They advertised as Pet Friendly on Hotels.com, but they were NOT. There is NO place for your dog to do their business, the back parking lot is scary and the grass along the edge is messy and on a hill, which prevents the dog from going there. The room was marginally OK, not at all like the pictures. I had a hard time finding the place due to the road construction (not the hotel's fault).

Roof leaked. We were on the bottom floor and the roof dripped all night long. The photos make the place look like a hotel when really it’s a motel. Would not stay again because there was water all over the place by the morning.

The Petals family are notorious for NOT maintaining their facilities. 1). Parking lanes are too tight, you can not get in and out of your vehicle. 2). Roaches in the rooms and in the breakfast area. 3). Weekend breakfast is supposed to have sausage, biscuits & gravy on the weekends and only had on 1 Sunday in a month. 4)TV doesn’t work half the time. 5) toilet leaks water on the bathroom floor. Sink has a hole in the bowel that leaks water on the floor in the room. 6). They increased the price of the room by double ( unannounced).

Chain lock was missing. Only way to lock door was deadbolt. I felt safe only because I had my dogs with me. Bathroom door would not close completely. Chair was missing 2 wheels. TV Remote would not work. Manager did come down and replace it. Online it said two dogs available. At counter was told only one, but did allow both to stay.

I have stated in convenience motels before but this by far is the most dirty I have ever been in. The sink was dirty, toilet seat was dirty, the bathroom floor needed to be wipe...I would give it a 2 out of 10. I was very disappointed. It looks very clean on picture but the room we stayed in was not anything I'm used to. And the only reason we had not left, it was because it was only for one night.

Bath Room had mold on ceiling, Ac and heating didn’t work, door latch didn't work properly so I had to put a chair in front of the door, shower knob was broken, toilet and sink was not clean. Desk clerk was very rude and above all they have ROACHES !!!! I do not recommend please Don’t !!!!’

The bathtub and shower pieces were falling out of the wall and wouldn’t fully shut off, the toilet ran constantly and made awful noises. The outlet next to the hair dryer was loose and shot sparks. There was conditioner but no shampoo. There were stains on everything and dents in the door.

The pictures on the internet are not from this hotel. The room was dingy and dirty. Blood was found on the curtains, bedding and a towel. The room smelled like pot…..it was coming in from outside AND through the vent in the bathroom. I went and bought a deodorizing room spray but that didn’t work, people hanging out in the parking lot drinking most of the night. I DO NOT AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DISGUSTING SMELLY GROSS HOTEL!

We actually ended up leaving and not even staying the night at this hotel. I was told we would get a full refund ( which we still have not received). The hotel has roaches and really really bad mold in the bathroom. A shower that stays leaking and it was slimy. There appeared to have been a fire in our room and the outlets were black with damage. The smoke alarm was hanging open with no batteries in it. There was a bullet from a gun just sitting next to our door. It was truly an awful experience.

This property is really bad, Expedia shouldn’t promote them! It’s dirty, full of mold, smelled bad and there were holes on the walls. The room they gave us was horrible we switched to another and it was worse so we had to cancel our reservation and left to find another place to stay of how bad this place is!!! Do yourself a favor and don’t stay at SureStay!!!

We traveled with our dog and stayed there for 2 nights. The room was old and needed repairs badly. Bathroom had no door knob inside, chair was missing one wheel. The only thing beyond our expectations was the bed: new and very comfortable!

For the price you pay for the room, it was really good. The beds were comfortable and the shower had amazing water pressure! The staff was friendly enough, but got right to the point and was all business.The downside was the air conditioner was very noisy and had a hard time keeping the room cooled down, and although the breakfast was good, it was not kept well stocked.

The general condition of room was suited to the price but could be better better for a little effort. Wifi was very slow to non existent. I only selected hotel due to buffett breakfast but no eggs or sausage as they advertised. I did kill a roach on the TV. So a little effort and room and service would be worth rate but owners are to cheap to pay for WIFI, an electric skillet or an exterminator.

1st room I checked into.The TV did not work.They tried to fix it but did not.Gave me another room.TV did not work again.Both rooms smelled.Air Conditioning units were very noisy. Overall a very unpleasant experience.Would not recomend this hotel to anyone. I do have to say the staff meaning a young man at the front desk did his best but was limited in what he had to work with

Loved the bed and the pillows, but that is about it. Lighting in the room was horrible and it felt like the landlord special when looking inside the bathroom and around the room. It was good for our one night stay but wouldn’t recommend longer than that.

The staff was extremely rude! Our power went out. Next time I’d rather be a puddle of sweat than to stay here again. Check out was at 11am. They were knocking on our door @ 10am sharp. Spoke to the front desk at check out. Waste of time. Extremely rude and could careless.

The staff was very friendly and the morning breakfast was very nice, but unfortunately, my first day there i needed to switch rooms. Arrived around 8pm l, checked in with the gentleman at the counter, and he gave me the key to room 129. I went to the room and upon inspection, found 2 live roaches in the bathroom and 1 live roach on the wall in the bedroom area. I immediately left and went to asl for a different room. The disturbing part was, he asked me if i had "laid in the bed", so he would kniw if he could "still rent the room", making sure i didn\'t mess up the sheets and he could just give that room to someone else immediately.

I wish I could give it zero stars. We booked months worth of rooms for our employees since the start of the year. They missed the checkout date by less than two hours and were charged $50 a room to have the doors unlocked. The staff at this hotel is beyond condescending, obnoxious and arrogant. You better hope that you do not have any sort of issues. Even when it was their mistake, The hotel is not clean and is in a sketchy part of town, buyer beware

Had to wait about 5 minutes before I was acknowledged to check in (No one was at the front desk). The toilet paper holder was broken in the bathroom. The light by the beds did not work. Carpet needed to be replaced, it had many stains.

Booked a King bed online and when I got there the front desk clerk explained that there were no king rooms due to a plumbing issue and then flat out refused to give me a refund leaving myself and my husband stuck with a double queen bed room. We were specifically looking for a hotel with a King room available and only booked this hotel because it had one available. Also, the property looks nothing like the pictures, Its a run down dump in a disgusting area and was a horrible experience altogether 😪.

I did not stay at this property even though I fully paid for the booking. I am a young woman traveling alone and did not feel safe here whatsoever. It’s a motel located between two “gentlemen’s” clubs. In a not-so-safe looking area. When I turned in my key and told the staff I did not feel safe, no reimbursement was even offered. My key was simply accepted and I drove away. I was in town to shadow somethings at Mayo Clinic for school, as a young solo traveler I did not feel the need to fight for reimbursement.

We had 6 rooms and 22 people in our group. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is an older building but the renovations are satisfactory. Breakfast choices were limited but you could get a decent bite to eat. The building is in a rougher area of Jacksonville but we felt fine staying here. Sam did an excellent job, courteous and helpful.

The room was very clean but carpet smelled old, there was Spanish men hanging outside all night outside of are room drinking being loud. People above are room was stomping all night long. It was unsafe area altogether. Lesson learned here will not be returning ever again. Very ghetto hotel.

The pictures make it look like it’s cute and trendy but when you get there you realize it’s just an old motel that they’ve added a coat of paint and curtains to. The bathroom ceiling was disgusting and the breakfast was laughable. Nearby is a strip club, a gun shop and a sex store.

Mostly everything was great about our stay. The room was nicely updated. The breakfast was great. Staff was nice. The only negative thing about this property is that I think they forgot about updating the bathroom. Lol. It wasn't terrible but looking at the room and then the bathroom you would think you're in two totally different rooms.

The pillows there are extra uncomfortable, take your own!!!! Room was very small. Breakfast was included in the price (not low price) but when we come to breakfast room 30 minutes before the end of breakfast hours, there was very little left to eat, no eggs and no one to ask for more. We will never come back there!
