Ficamos uma semana no resort e tivemos uma experiência excelente. Chegamos às 07h da manhã, mesmo com o check-in previsto para às 15h, e já liberaram nosso quarto na hora, além de permitir o uso de todas as áreas e do all inclusive desde o primeiro momento. Na saída, tivemos a mesma gentileza: nosso check-out era ao meio-dia, mas como nosso voo era somente às 19h, eles nos deixaram aproveitar toda a estrutura até irmos embora. O quarto é ótimo, muito espaçoso e com uma cama gigante e extremamente confortável. A limpeza é feita diariamente com muito cuidado. Eles repõem kits completos no banheiro (costura, prestobarba, esponja, pantufas e outros itens) e abastecem o frigobar todos os dias. Também há máquina de gelo 24 horas à disposição. A praia é maravilhosa: extensa, com muitas espreguiçadeiras disponíveis e segurança o tempo todo. O sargaço é limpo diariamente, garantindo o mar sempre bonito e agradável para banho. As áreas externas do resort são muito bem cuidadas, limpas e organizadas. É visível que há muitos funcionários trabalhando constantemente para manter tudo funcionando perfeitamente. overall, it was great. my only complaint is that on the adult side - there was not hype - no entertainment. There was 1 pool party that lasted 1 hour. I was hoping DR would bring the "party" to Punta Cana like Cancun does. My suggestion is to have more lively music. I had to bring my speaker to the pool daily.

I have stayed here for the past few years and cannot say enough on how beautiful the beach is, the pool is refreshing and best, the staff is amazing and if you are looking for a relaxing vacation this is the place! The train to the family side is always a fun ride. Something for everyone at this property. Golf, soccer, baseball, pools, beaches, casino, food, and amenities like spa. Always treated very well! Staff is like family!

The place was perfect for couples. Having access to the Bavaro Palace and able to book dinner reservations is outstanding. Staff were friendly and took care of our room needs. We had premium level which all the more gave us extra privileges like free hydrotherapy and priority reservations to dinner. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay for us at Barcelo Bavaro Beach.

What stood out the most was the sheer size and amount of amenities the hotel was. Spent 3 nights here, and I felt we were not able to explore the entirety of the hotel and do all of the activities they have to offer. I will say that many amenities and restaurants do have additional costs, which is kind of disappointing.

The resort was beautiful although it could use some updating everything was still really nice. The food was delicious and there were plenty of choices for restaurants. The beach was beautiful and they offered free kayaking and catamaran boats. They let us know early on about excursions we could go to and activities going on in the pool and beach every day. In the evenings they also had shows we could also attend.

This was the greatest birthday experience. Our concierge during our stay was Francia, and she did not disappoint. We were a large group of 17 people and she was very helpful in setting up dinner reservations for all of us and appointments at the spa. She even remembered my birthday and had room service place a cake in our room for me. We all stayed at the “adults only” side, which I will say was beautiful and quiet. Me personally, I like to be where the action is. All the shopping, restaurants, gym/spa, etc is on the “palace” side. The resort does offer trolly services which is convenient as well, that rotates about every 15-20 min I believe. We also had many excursions planned. Which was so fun but also exhausting. I wish we had more time to actually enjoy the perks of the resort. But when planning excursions, be sure to read pick up section. Some companies can only pick you up from the resorts security gate which is like 2-3 miles from the resort and you’d have to pay for a taxi. It’s pretty cheap but also take time management into consideration. (I did not lol) Overall this resort was amazing and I would definitely come again. I have no complaints and I think I can speak for all my 17 family members as well. Thank you again to all the staff involved in our stay.

The staff at the breakfast was not friendly at all. It was hard to find a clean table that had silverware & napkins. There were 2 people (maybe) that asked if we would like coffee. We went to breakfast every morning and they were always out of scrambled eggs. I feel like they lacked eggs, unless you stood in a long line for an omelette, which took forever. They were not friendly at this resort. The only friendly people were the bartenders in the main lobby area. They were always nice & seemed like they liked their job. Otherwise, everyone looked miserable. Sadly, I will never be back to this resort. We were upgraded to VIP room, but I'm not sure what it meant to have 1 free drink daily? We got free drinks all day. It was ALL INCLUSIVE. Our room was NOT clean. They gave us 2 bath towels for our whole stay, and 1 hand towel. No wash cloths at all and no bath towel to put on the floor, which got really wet after each shower. I was not impressed with the rooms at all.

Im sorry, but I would not stay again. I have bites all over my body, I didnt stay for more then two nights but I have bites everywhere that look like bed bug bites. The staff at front desk were nice, everyone else seem unhappy. The food was not good at all, My bestfriend agreed as well. All the buffets were horrible. I will say, i did appreciate the train service that ran to bavaro palace, I liked how places were open late.

Estaba un poco escéptica por algunos comentarios que leí acá , pero fue todo lo contrario. El hotel es súper limpio, las personas que trabajan allí sorprenden con su amabilidad y extraordinario servicio siempre es bueno apoyarlos con las propinas ;) adicional al bufet que tiene muchas opciones también están los restaurantes incluidos que puedes reservar, yo opté por la opción de Adultos pero tienes acceso a los demás hoteles en un tren que pasa cada 5 min. Lo único malo fueron la cantidad de algas en el mar, pero el hotel trata de estar limpiando. Definitivamente volveria a este hotel y 100 % recomendado

This is an extremely large property. The bathrooms very much need updating. It's over 2 feet to step into the shower. If you are older, they only have six rooms for handicap or you have the two footstep into the shower. Rooms are nice and large. Extremely Noisy!!! when they have the shows at night. Woke me up all most every night. The buffet was pretty much the same every day with a little bit of variation. You can go to other restaurants, but you must have a reservation. Guest services were the best! There are people here from all over the world all seem to be very nice. The staff is helpful however not many speak English.

Montero at Mamey made every morning bright. Omelette station was the best option for breakfast. Rooms were very dated, furniture-wise, and the bathroom shower set up was a bit inconvenient, but still got us clean. The pool was just the right amount of activity, but PLENTY of chairs. Same with the beach. The beach was clear of and seaweed and lovely to stroll down. Housekeeping was pompt and did a great job, respectful of our personal items. Check-in and check-out was flawless. It was also easy to get change at the front desk. Even though the resort was full (based on expedias booking info), reservations at restaurants were not entirely unattainable with a standard package instead of premium, may just have to have a little flexaility with time. Overall, we cant wait to come back and support the Barcelo brand.

The room was nice with a great view. One thing we struggled with was that not many of the restaurant staff spoke English so we often had trouble ordering what we wanted. Also, not a lot of alcohol choices at the bars. Very limited. Finally, the Japanese restaurant was so hot that the experience was not at all enjoyable.

We had an absolute great time at this resort. From the moment we arrived to when we left, there was not one thing we had a complaint about. We went for our honeymoon and are happy that we chose Barcelo. I want to commend Patricio Cimili from Guest Experiences for making sure our stay was perfect. He was constantly making sure we were satisfied and guided us throughout the whole trip. If i could give 10 stars, i would. We are already looking into dates for next year because we are absolutely going back.

The resort was lovely. Food was okay. There were a few pleasant and personable staff. Most staff seems to be unhappy or without personality. We stayed at the. adults part and it seemed less lively than the family side. Music was more upbeat and the vibes at Barcelo Bavaro Palace was wonderful . Loved the train for travelling between resorts. Had one driver who was full of energy and always had music playing. Our premium swim up room was wonderful but walls are thin as our neighbors almost ruined our travel being loud and sounding that they were remodeling furniture all day and night. The cleaning staff was friendly but did not come all at once for everything but would come in multiple time during the day and into evening and night. That was inconvience. They seemed to communicate with one another hollering which was annoying. For this resort having so much, it definitely could use some improvements in customer service. This resort definitely has potential.

Las facilidades muy buenas, aunque,l la actitud y la servicialidad del staff no son las mejores. Un trato hacia el huésped como si le molestara el trabajo. En varias ocaciones ignoraban al momento de solicitar un servicio, ya sea en el bar y cuando lo hacian era de mala manera, o no llegaban con lo solicitado. Esto y entre otras cosas de los empleados conlleva que en nuestro próximo viaje el hotel no será el seleccionado.

I have given this hotel the grace of knowing that they were probably understaffed. I stayed 3 nights and I’m glad I did not extend my stay to 5. The staff some of them were pretty nice but some you could see they were overworked, some interesting things happened. We booked for the adults only, and were place in the grand palace…when asked it was “due to capacity “ which does not reflect my reservation…this is a reservation so what do you mean capacity. We were kindly walked to our rooms, long walk since we checked in in the adults side. My key didn’t work, the room was not cleaned properly and we were given only two towels, of course we called politely and asked for our jacuzzi to be cleaned and it never happened, when I called for the towels I was told I couldn’t get a new one until the next day which I understood because it was like 11-12 we were two people, we had one hand towel that we used for the floor by the shower and used the other two. After a long day of travel we went to bed to be waken up at 2 am with a person with towels…. I explained that we were told that we had to wait till the next day, the lady explained it was not true and that she did not have hand towels. I took the towels and moved on, then at 6 am someone knocked again with towels… my stay felt like a hospital I was already irritated, the free wine was bad, I cannot speak for the liquor because neither me or the other person drinks. You can only take their taxis out of the hotel no Ubers allowed in.

The property was beautiful, most of the staff were very nice, the beach was nice but the seaweed issues was a serious problem!! We were there for six days and got in the water once because the seaweed is nasty and smells really bad. The property tried to keep it clean but it was a losing cause. The room was ok but needed work, bathroom door wouldn’t shut, we left on a tour and came back to maintenance in the room, even with the do not disturb sign on the door. We mostly enjoyed the pool! Kind of weird that it’s the adults only resort and no swim up bar, yet they have a swim up bar on the palace side where kids are allowed. All in all we had a great time, I this property a 3.8 out of 5,

The room view was outstanding! The beach was nice but seaweed covered the coastline. As a senior citizen, there was a very significant distance to the closest buffet, entertainment area, and host/concierge office, as well as the pick up spot for local transportation between resorts. One would have thought that with the “Premier” package more attention would have been given to location of the room and its proximity to the resort amenities. With that said, it is a beautiful resort area, the pool is gorgeous, the food was very good and we enjoyed the vacation very much.

Nice clean property. Buffet had a lot of different options for food. Pool was very nice! The only one negative was that beach had a lot of seaweeds and no one was cleaning it. It was impossible to swim in the sea. Otherwise everything was great!

The Resort all together was clean and safe. The buffet food I give it a 8 of 10 and thats for all of them. The restaurants I made reservation werent the best.(Italian, Mexican and steak house) You can only get wine and beer and the don't make cocktails in a lot of them. The staff was very attentive when I needed assistant. The beach area was very clean and the pool. I loved the live bands in the evenings.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! It gets a ten! The adults-only area is amazing. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind with your significant other. The room is spacious and comfortable, and has everything we need for a good stay. I read many reviews about the food and was concerned beforehand, but trust me—there are so many options, the food is fresh, and the drinks are made with high-quality alcohol. Everything was delicious! The shuttle train to the other resort, Bavaro Palace, is very helpful, and it's safe to go there and return to the hotel. The staff is very friendly, and the beach is cleaned daily, so there isn't much seaweed, unlike what we used to see in Punta Cana during this season. I highly recommend this place if you want to disconnect from the world, relax on the beach, and drink Pina Bavaro cocktails (it's a piña colada with banana). Just go for it! I already want to go back!

Nice hotel. Check in was easy. Staff was very nice and welcoming. The food at the buffet was OK, I feel it could of been better. We did Habachi at Barcelo Palace and it was delish! Overall we had a good time. I will definitely be back to Punta Cana!

Food was Awful! Cold and not fresh and nothing tasted good. Some restaurants were with money and were not included in the All Inclusive package.

I really liked how amazing the whole resort looked! Everything was very clean, well put together, and overall was wonderful. The rooms were very nice and the beds comfortable. But this resort does not do well on food and service. The food was very below average, bland, and a lot of times cold in the buffets. Meats were dry, fruits had no flavor, and the desserts were warm when they should be cold. The service was also very unfriendly and it sometimes seemed as if they were talking down to us even when we made efforts to make them feel appreciated for the work they did. There were also many occasions where the staff really seemed like they did not want to be there or they didn’t care about providing good service/doing their job. I will say though the bartenders were very cool and funny people (They made their drinks strong which I personally liked a lot). Overall this place is genuinely amazing, but if you really care about food and service it’s not the place for you!

Pro’s: Large and clean beach and pool, room accessibility on wrist, clean facilities, friendly staff. Con’s: Rooms dated (we had a swim out), No swim up or beach bar and poolside service was slow with only 1 person at times, Italian restaurant was terrible.

Nice beach. Spacious room. Adults only pool was clean and spacious. Restaurants were good, tasty food and good service. Good nightlife at disco.
