Love the pools but needed cleaning Close to airport Front desk friendly/helpful The construction was near our bedroom window so early in the morning. rooms well equipped with kitchen needs. Sofa was dirty and very uncomfortable. Hot water didn’t last very long. Fast elevators. Nice gym. grocery store walking distance. There was restaurants nearby. Plenty of Ubers. Check in and out easy no hassle. Not much to do on the island if I did it over again I’d stay all inclusive.

We had a great time at the Reserva Real. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable and with a great AC. Everything seems very new and clean. We enjoyed all the pools specially the one on the rooftop. Our family will stay here every time we come back to Punta Cana.

Isolation is bad as we easily hear outside. The maid never came to do the room only when asked at the front desk. The employees don’t speak well english so its hard to communicate. No dish soap included or dishcloths, no tissues or extra toilet paper. Toilet and shower drain are bad.

Although listed as a 5 star hotel, this is not a 5 star hotel. Pros: The staff were very nice, the area is walkable and there are good food places nearby. Cons: It’s on the road and very loud, the phones didn’t work, there’s no room service and there’s active construction next door.

If you’re looking at staying at Melina Hotel go ahead and cancel and stay here. They got roaches, they scam, and the rooms are 1/5 of the size, and I am not exaggerating. The beach is close. There’s shops close. Plenty of restaurants close. Walkable places to eat and grab a quick snack.

We we’re not able to stay at property, had to fly home early as my partner was hospitalized in the Dominican and we had to return home early. No compassion from property for refund, provided proof and everything… unbelievable. Don’t recommend!

The hotel itself looks great and the room was clean and seemed very new. The pools were nice. The reason for the low rating is that we stayed 3 nights and 2 times (that we know of), the staff attempted to get into our room without our consent or knowledge. The first time, they attempted to check someone else into our room and luckily we were home and heard unlocking noises. The second time, they attempted to get access in the middle of the night at 2.30am. It was incredibly scary to be woken up in the middle of the night to the sounds of someone entering our room passcode. My husband stayed awake until the morning with a kitchen knife by his side as we truly didn’t know if they had bad intentions - we didn’t know why someone would need access in the middle of the night. A few hours earlier we’d asked the staff to help us arrange a taxi at 7am the following morning and we wrote our room number on a note. There was no reason why they should think our room was not occupied. The staff apologized in the morning, however, it didn’t change the fact that we didn’t feel safe or get any sleep that night. It can happen once by accident but not twice on a three night stay…

i just want to say that i love this place and i’ll be back!!! i am a female solo traveler so proximity and safety are my biggest concerns. i felt extremely safe and this hotel is close to pretty much everything you can think of. there was some minor issues with the rooms because things are still under construction, but they make sure to accommodate you and keep you happy. i can’t wait till everything is completely done, so i can come back. the staff went above and beyond for me and were extremely friendly. 10/10 and i will be back. :)

Clean, modern hotel. The pictures actually don’t give it enough credit. I could tell it was nice in the pictures but when I entered the room I was like ok this is kinda boujee. The bar downstairs is cutesy, bartender Elijah was 10/10. Restaurant and groceries near by.

I enjoyed staying at this property. I was there with my family. The rooms and property were exactly as seen in the photos. I especially loved the pools all around the property. 24-hour security. I loved that everything needed was in close proximity and walking distance. Uber was easily accessible and affordable. I didn't like the limited breakfast options. However, the breakfast we had was okay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back.
