I was quite unhappy with the surprise charge of $16.64 when we checked out for Parking Recapture Fee. The hotel has a large parking lot with always lots of parking spaces. I think nickel and diming the guest is not good for business. I have never seen such a charge with Hilton or Hyatt hotels. In the future we will try to avoid hotels in the Marriott group.

Good location right off of I-95. Hotel is clean, modern, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast is not included but there is a bistro in the lobby which also has a bar that is open till 10pm. It was nice to come in from dinner, get a drink, and take it up to the room. One thing i didn't realize when I booked this room - the hotel is right next door to a hospital and the view from my room was the ER entrance. I was worried that I would hear sirens all night but I didn't hear a thing. It was a great stay overall and I would stay here again.

The hotel was nice and clean. Everything worked well. Staff was extremely friendly. The issues: 1-No free coffee available all day. 2-No breakfast buffet available. 3-Parking was $4 a day. No big deal but a surprise. 4-Since breakfast and coffee was not included, prices at the restaurant should have been lower. It was too expensive.

the Staff was very nice from the moment we walked in. super helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to do for entertainment in the evening, with teenagers. the fitness room as great. quality equipment. nice pool we ended up going to TopGolf. it was great. check out was a breeze

Antonio was amazingly friendly upon checking us in. He made us feel extremely welcome and pointed out everything that was available to us. Kitchen was pretty much closed, however, the woman behind the bar was very willing and happy to offer us food and we enjoyed talking with her. The lobby really is lovely with lots of places to sit. The food menu is not large, but the options are great. Sitting outside by the pool and pergolas at night are a plus.

The facility advertises happy hour w/ appetizers and there was none. The room air conditioner did not work correctly and leaked all over the carpeting. There was mold in the base of the shower around perimeter and on the ceiling. Management was made aware of the issues.

Property/building shows obvious age. Tears in carpet. Carpet coming loose from stair risers. Rust, wear and tear noticeable throughout lobby, and public areas. Checked into my room, 203, body soap container laying on shower floor having come off wall. Handle in shower fell off if not turned just right. Rust, mold wear and tear through bath and room. Mattress has been well used. Not a bad property, just not very well maintained.

After Covid Hotels make standard the fact that they no longer have to clean the rooms or make the beds, only every 2 days, I asked for a cleaning service since there was a roach in my room, they didn't care

Check In around midnight.The night supervisor had trouble getting keycards programmed (10 min for key cards). Got to room, it smelled bad of feces. Decided not to move as we were exhausted. Couldn’t get AC on-no directions. Going over to check unit under window my sister realized the rugs was SOAKING WET! When I walked over to check noticed brown stains on rug. Went back down to change rooms and the night supervisor was apologetic but with an attitude. We stayed friendly and polite and he did end up being pleasant but again he couldn’t program key cards. He finally got one programmed and we got to our clean room at about 1:15 or so. I love Courtyard by Marriott but would never stay in this one again.

I have stayed here several times. Was disappointed this time. The microwave would not work, the tv remote would not turn off tv, channels now are very limited unless you pay, the bathroom had a lot of hair on shower and floor and hair dryer, there was also a mix-up with my breakfast order. It was given to the wrong customer. This was the first time I ate at the Bistro. I usually give this place a 5 but, unfortunately, not this time

Hot water control was not good. Water kept getting hot then cold, even though the lever was on hot. Toilet did not flush well. It’s like it had an air bubble when flushed, and the handle needed to be held down to the end of the flush. The refrigerator was running, but never got cold, and when we put a bottle in it, it shook loudly, and couldn’t remain.

Great room. The only negative I can say is that there was no one at front desk when n i went to check in and I couldn't find anyone nearby and had to wait for someone to finally get there. It wasnt too long a wait, but it was confusing.

The facilities were clean and i felt safe there but the woke me up at 11 pm to put a credircard down for incidentals that i had already done and their system malfunctioned and i was told it had to be done before shift change and that was 2 am

We ended up not using the reservation through Expedia because the hotel did not respect the reservation. And when I tried to refund my reservation, they did not allow me to. I had to purchase another room at 2 AM with my Wife and young kids. Very bad experience overall

The lady who checked us in Crystal was so nice! She accommodated our request for a first floor room with two queen beds. We had a nice conversation about her cat Jacks (Boots) she got for her Mom when her Mom’s dog got hit by a car. Crystal is very special - please keep her and have her train others!

Great stay! Hotel is located within in 5 minutes of everything you can think of except the beach, that’s 30 minutes away. Convenient to both Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Within 5 minutes of a walking, running, biking Preserve that is beautiful. (Dog friendly).

I am yet to write a review on expedia and travel a lot but this experience was such an amazing one that I had to share it. Not only was the grounds clean, quiet and well kept, the staff was amazing. Kind, attentive and accommodating from the moment I arrived with my son to the moment we left. The front desk both male and female employees were so friendly that it made everything worth while. The icing on the cake was the Saturday night that we were so tired from a soccer tournament that we just ate at the hotel. The cook/server made us feel like we were at a four star restaurant. Even when helping her bar customers she managed to come over to our table and check on us continuously and provide the friendliest and quickest service possible. Their french fries were crispy and amazing, the chicken wings were cooked to perfection and the specials they had on flatbread pizza that night made it all worth the stay. Management is doing something right there because there staff is happy and that means the guests are. We will be back.

We have stayed numerous times at this Flagler location… Please open up coffee at 6:00 AM as many of us get up and leave early.. There were guests hanging around and just waiting for the coffee area to open up… Also they should offer muffins and Danish for many on the go..

No complimentary coffee! We paid $5 for the breakfast online with Expedia, but coffee wasn’t available til after 7. Many guests came down looking for coffee, and either had to pay or were told the comp coffee was in their rooms. Our room only had decaf, no cream, dirty machine.

Several of our family and friends stayed at this hotel for our son’s wedding this past weekend. I have nothing but praise for the staff at this hotel. They are extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Our only complaint was that the way they have set up the Starbucks cafe in the lobby really does not service the needs of guests wanting a quick breakfast. The staff at the cafe are excellent but you can see that they are working as hard as they can and they still cannot keep up with the demand in the morning. I highly recommend either going back to a buffet style breakfast in the mornings or just not having a breakfast option because it is extremely frustrating..,, otherwise this hotel is amazing in every regard!
