Side entrance exterior door didn’t auto close making it unsafe. Breakfast was sparse and terrible. Mold and grime in the corners of the shower. Two conditioners in the shower no shampoo. Very unclean.

This is a very old building, but the interior has been updated. The staff was great and the room was very clean. My only two complaints are that the parking does not feel very secure and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I could not sleep and we woke pretty sore.

Where do we start…. This place is so dirty, broke door lock. Taped up remote. Stain on the counter where they missed cleaning the room from the stay before us. This place is a joke. People are just making as money off the place they can with no effort in the service of cleaning it or maintenance etc…we also had no power from 5am to about 10am asked. The staff was completely rude about it. No customer service. We had some insulin go warm had to go buy breakfast and couldn’t shower for the morning… asked them if there was anything they could do and they didn’t budge one bit nor give a simple sorry this happened other than letting us cancel our second night stay which we did when we had Expedia call down when they had power again. STAY AWAY and go else where

The photos on the website are misleading. This is a rundown motel that has been refurbished very poorly. There was paint peeling off the walls, a stale odor in the room, and the towels looked to be about 30 years old and could stand up by themselves. We tried to tough it out and stayed for 1 night, asked in the a.m. if we could be refunded for the second night as we could not stay in those conditions. Front desk advised we would have to contact Expedia and that we received a special rate which was untrue. Before taxes the room was supposed to be $77.77, we were charged by the motel $115.32 for a Thursday night stay.

I chose the Comfort Inn for its name & reputation for getting what you pay for, but not the case here. Room had a horrible & potent smell. Rooms need to be updated and the small puny trash can in room had no plastic bag, I had to use one of my grocery bags. Had to constantly keep logging into the WiFi because it kept disconnecting, so frustrating.

The hotel was pretty good. Check-in was easy and quick. The room was OK, not great. The carpet and tile floor was a little dirty. The rest of the room seemed clean. The floor above me (I was on the first floor) was very squeaky, and the person above me was up around 5am each day, which woke me up. The breakfast was good enough. However it didn't open until 7am, whereas most hotels seem to be either 6:00 or 6:30.

The housekeepers knock on the door while sleeping around 930am while the check out is at 11am.. then they tried to come in the room. The office calls at 1055am to see if we are checking out! Terrible and never will book there again.. EVER!

Stay was great! We did an early check in and the guy at the counter was very nice. Property was well kept and clean. Room was comfortable and was exactly as shown in the pictures. Walls could be cleaned a bit, but other than that the room was clean. We did have breakfast one day. It was simple and good. Lobby and hallways to the room were very warm, but not an area we hung around so it was fine. We would most definitely stay here again!

First clerk, middle eastern man was a ----hole. Check in Lady in afternoon was awesome. Room ac did not work and was loud. Wall scratched up and missing handels on wardrobe. Felt not kept up. First incounter with man started it off horrible.

We arrived 45 minutes before closing and found only two sausages and a small amount of scrambled eggs, barely enough for two servings. There was no milk, the waffle mix was empty, and several other items were either depleted or missing altogether. We waited 20–30 minutes, hoping someone would replenish the food, but no staff appeared. As closing time approached, we asked the front desk associate, who had been present the entire time but appeared occupied with his phone, if breakfast would be restocked. He informed us that they do not refill items within 10 minutes of closing. At that point, he stood up, but we had already decided to leave and find a restaurant. It was unfortunate to start the day with such limited options and a lack of attentiveness, especially given how early we arrived. I hope management considers improving the breakfast service and staff responsiveness.

Upon check in there was no staff at the desk, had to ring bell to get someone to help with checking in. The second day the room key did not work, when I went to the front desk there was no explanation other than the staff saying "oh, I did that maybe I was not supposed to do that". It was also confusing to know if cleaning staff would come into the room or not, there were no door hangers to allow you to decide if you wanted service, had to clarify with he front desk.

We had no housekeeper for three days ,was told by a staff member you have to ask for it.Coffee machine was broke for two days In the lobby ask for coffee for our room as well as towels toilet paper and to empty our trash breakfast was nothing to talk about manager was grumpy never smiled the other staff members were very nice Will not chose that hotel again as we frequent Pinetop Az.

There were pros & cons: Hotel was in a central & convenient location, the room was large & beds were comfy. Good cleanliness as expected. The cons were that there was a party going on in the room next to ours with lots of noise at 2:30am; they didn't stop until 20 minutes after I called front desk. Most disappointing was the breakfast. No HOT food other than make-your-own Belgian waffles, and the batter ran out. The pickings were slim, such a disappointment. Couldn't even get coffee because the whole filter had to be changed and it was taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r. The water in dispenser next to the coffee machine in the lobby wasn't fresh. Looked gross when we arrived the 1st night & next morning was same with lime slices looking mushy & starting to turn brown. Good thing we got switched to different room the 2nd morning & hotel clerk NICK was very helpful in giving recommendations on hiking trails etc. He was awesome!

It is an OK stop with privacy and satisfactory beds. Very disappointed in the ‘warm breakfast’. Scanty waffle batter. Scanty syrup for waffles. Nothing prepared on site (no scrambled eggs or sausage or anything prepared). Tiny muffins & bagels. Scanty milk available, even for the 2 kinds of cold cereal. Very disappointed.

Had two issues inside the room. Had issue with the TV, staff had to fix it, tried to use the microwave in the room, it wasn’t working staff had to come and replace it. Breakfast was good. One recommendation for the serving area is to place microwave oven on the counter.
