The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. They are pet friendly in that the pet fee is a lot less than many other hotels in the area. The hotel is right off the road and there is minimal space to walk dogs but poop bags are nicely provided. The one negative was the "breakfast rules." Pets are not permitted in the breakfast area, which makes sense however, food is not permitted outside the breakfast area. So, if I am traveling with my dog, and I can't bring my dog to where the food is yet I can't bring food to my room, then I cannot enjoy the free breakfast. Maybe the creation of an area for customers to eat with their pets or allow food to be brought to hotel rooms?

We were told the hotel was under construction, but that was a positive aspect, because we could crack a window open. Had to change the room 2 times because of the old AC and moldy smell. They had the air purifier standing in a hallway, and when I asked if I could borrow it for my room because it was moldy, they said no. But at least they didn’t refuse to move us. Otherwise the rooms were clean and everything else was ok.

Convenient location. Lobby is clean and bright. Rooms have been redone, but the metal pedestal they put the mattress on is loud. Every time u move u hear it bang. No phone in the room to call the front desk and I needed to a couple time due to a noise room above me. Caught the front desk clerk in a lie when I ask him to quiet the room above down. He said “I will call them now” and I thought how do u call a room if they have no phone?

Having stayed at La Quinta Inns before, this one was disappointing. The desk employee was very nice and efficient upon check in and the entry area is very nicely done and welcoming. The hotel is pet friendly which is why we stayed there. We enjoyed not having to pay an additional fee for our dog for our one night on the road. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable with a decent variety and well stocked. Unfortunately, the facility was in great need of being updated (peeling wallpaper on hallways, stained walls) and some deep cleaning. There were stains on the walls in our pet friendly room and the bathroom had messy caulk, stained porcelain, stained faucets in the shower, and hair on the floor when we checked in. Our hallway smelled and our room also smelled a little stale. The beds were comfortable.

The people wotking there were very nice. The facility was not clean...lots of litter, and ilobby and rooms smelled HEAVILY of deoderizer. The elevator dmelled like a skunk (really) The bathroom sink faucet sprayed water all over the place when you tutned it on and we had a cold shower. We were in room 212.BREAKFAST did not include scrambled eggs. We will not be back.

I liked the fact the property was in close proximity to Interstate 95. However, the room was not very clean. I found hair on the bathroom floor, the base boards in the room were dirty. the bathroom in general needs to be updated!

We were disappointed in this La Quinta. We’ve stayed in them many times and this one although relatively updated, wasn’t clean. Our bed was clean, but the bathroom faucets were dirty, and the hallway was filthy.

Especially for a roadside hotel in this price range, this hotel is very clean. The desk clerk was unusually pleasant and on the ball, even though I arrived late at night. And he went the extra mile to come to my room to warn me I was parked near enough to the dumpster that my vehicle was at risk. Yes, the bathroom caulking was discolored in a few spots, and yes, there were the whitened remnants of stain cleaning on the very cheerful and new hall carpets, but the place was so clean and brightly and cheerily lit (also different from most of these hotels) that it didn't matter. Also, the HVAC fan was actually NOT noisy. I'll be back.

The floor felt a bit scummy in the room so i wore my shoes. There was a bit of mold in the shower. There was no water stop in the sink, so you could see the hair from the last guest in there.

The people here were very nice, the room was average. The flooring was nice, the bed was nice, sheets and comforter were very clean. Some of the furnishings and paint was a bit dated. A couple of the lights were so bright white (need a softer tone) it was annoying. Great TV, decent channels. This room (103) was the strangest layout I have ever seen at a hotel, but I was there to sleep. Breakfast looked good, but didn't have anything. I think for what I got, I overpayed...but if I had the need to stay again in the area, I would go there again...just not this room.

The hotel and room were very nice. However, the king size bed was the most uncomfortable, hard bed I have ever slept in. The bed squeaked when you sat on it or moved. I even tried putting the pillows under me to make it less hard to no avail. My room being on the 3rd floor, street side was also very loud with road noise.

We stayed here for the night on our way to Myrtle Beach from NJ. We didn’t want to spend a lot bc we knew it would be a quick stay (we checked in at 9 pm and were out by 8 am) but still expected it to be DECENT. The room had a smell, there were no wall switches other than the bathroom so you had to walk across a dark room to the other corner to get to the lamp. AC unit was SO loud that it woke me up every time it turned on All. Night. Long. Bed was also uncomfortable and loud. Got up to take a shower and found the tub with peeling paint, dingy faucets and dingy soap holders. I’m pretty easy going- never left a review on a hotel before, but this was 11 hours and $125 I can’t get back. Would never stay again. We stayed at Spring Hill Suites on the way back and was wayyyyy nicer for a few dollars more.

Right off and on 95. Asked for a different room because first one had a foul odor, no problem. Beds comfortable. Can hear through walls and windows, so we used our ear plugs. Breakfast ready by 6 AM, so we could get back on the road. It was great. Plenty of hot and cold and tasty choices. Microwave in room. A little bit showing age, but nice towels and hot water. No complaints for price and stop from Philly to GA.

The property was easy access. However the room AC was not very good. Very high humidity in the room all night. The sheets were scratchy and everything was minimally clean. very accommodating for our dog. Property outside hotel was trashy. Felt and looked like a 2 star hotel. The breakfast area and food was nice and clean and food was good, nice selection.

I arrived at the Hotel hours before check in with no where to go. I asked the gentleman inside would I be able to check in early and was told that the Hotel doesn't have early check in. I had to sit in the parking lot for 4 1/2 hours to check in. I was very upset and my two sons was also.

Greeter was alright. Very businesslike and to the point. Not sure if he was very happy about me bothering him as never offered a smile. Room was ultra clean, including the bathroom. Bed was very hard so my back was not happy but one night was tolerable. Breakfast was ample and well stocked. When I went to leave, lady at desk said "are you checking out? Just throw your key in there" And she gestured to the basket on the counter. Again, no smile or asking if I had been comfortable, etc. She just disappeared into a back room.

The front desk attendant was snarky and not very kind. We got the wrong room and when we went back to the front desk to explain, she was not very pleasant about it. She wears much nicer when I had to go down a third time to get sheets for the pull out. Overall, not a very good experience. The room smells pretty bad.

Excellent staff. Had to extend our stay and they made it seamless. Good breakfast. Better than the Wingate we stayed at the weekend before in Blacksburg. Room was clean. A little outdated, but in good shape. Could use a new showerhead. Only real bummer was the outside noise. Our room was in the front of the hotel on the top floor and we could hear parking lot conversations, the highway, and the loud speaker announcements from the flea market across the street starting at 7 am Saturday amd Sunday. Otherwise, close to food and stores and worked out well for our trip.

Didn't care for the bathroom. Tub was a little dingy. Placed a towel in there before using. And the hot water didn't get real hot, which prompted me to take a real quick shower. The front desk was friendly, and the lobby/eating area was clean.

Bathroom was in awful condition and forget about breakfast since they serve it a 7am. Too late for travelers on the go. It was obvious that they know that and didn't want to provide breakfast.

Breakfast was ample. Painting and interior improved since last stay. Good room overall but two issues: 1) concern of shower entry/exit as it’s at a different height and the tub floor is slippery but there are no grab handles. 2) room sanitizer was very strong smelling upon entry.

Place stinks of cleaning agent and pot. Always amazes me that “no smoking” doesn’t apply to pot smokers. Shower had cool to warm water temperature. Beds are noisy, broken lampshade, etc., needs an overhaul SOON! Breakfast had (powdered) eggs, yogurt, bacon and sausage, fresh fruit, good coffee. Lots of baked goods and waffles. And we had a ‘suite,’ LOL.

Everything was good and clean. The breakfast was excellent. Our dog was able to stay with us which was a plus! The only thing I didn’t like was that the room’s AC was loud so it was a bit noisy for a good night sleep. We were only there for a night so it wasn’t that bad!

The breakfast and staff were very good. Their water in the shower was Luke warm. There was no working fire alarm in the room and we were told there weren’t any on the 3rd floor as the wall was being painted - not worth the money
