Beach Homes Punta Cana

This was a very nice apartment it came with all amenities washer, kitchen, utensils ac, jacuzzi grill everything was nice.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews but this time was an experience, when we got there, we checked out the place, and found a dead bird in the pool, we tried calling the owner 3-4 times, in different days and didn’t answer what so ever, the power went out on us and once again we tried calling the owner and they didn’t answer, and to end it, one of the showers wasn’t working. overall it was a bad experience.

The place was absolutely gorgeous with plenty of room for our 3 adults 4 kids family (the 3 bedroom option). The view from the balcony was spectacular. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and there are plenty of stores right by the apt. Our kids also loved the private balcony pool. Just know that you will have to pay for your electricity usage. Comes out of your deposit. Wasn’t bad though. Also Daniel was highly communicative and very helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

The condo had plenty of space to accommodate my family of four (2 adults and 2 teens) in its two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. The property manager greeted us when we arrived to go over what we needed to know about the space, and was very responsive through WhatsApp during our stay whenever questions came up. We were provided with a 5-gallon jug of water necessary for drinking and cooking. The building has a 24-hour security guard outside the building, however the front gate didn't lock. Because we were so close to other rentals, resorts and bars, it did get rather loud some nights from the music being played. The swimming pool was large enough to enjoy a refreshing dip, while not feeling cramped. Our private outdoor space was nice as well. It was a 3-minute walk to the beach (although due to the Sargassum issue in the area we did not enjoy the ocean). We did however have access to a beach club with lounge chairs-Huracan. There was a convenience market about a block away for all of your essentials and snacks. We loved the culinary scene in the neighborhood, and had many memorable meals eating an amazing variety of food. Check out Wowzer Brunch & Restaurant, La Bruja, La Casita De Yeya, L’aceretta and Castaways Bistro. They are all within the neighborhood which was safe and friendly. I'm glad we took a chance and stayed here. It was far from perfect, but we felt part of the community, a nice alternative to the cookie cutter resorts.

Nicely kept, secure property in a great location close to the beach and restaurants. We had trouble finding the free beach club and the only instructions we kept getting were "yes, down on the beach to the right". We ended up taking pictures to show the office staff, this helped them communicate which one was ours. Once we found it, it was lovely :) We had a unit with a roof top pool which was not clean/usable on arrival. It took 3 days of daily cleaning/service before the pool was usable. There was very little furniture on the rooftop patio with missing cushions, and no shade of any kind which made it unusable in the afternoon. The partial ocean view was very partial.... Bedrooms were nice and clean, beds very comfortable. We did not need to use a/c much, just kept the curtains drawn during the day when out and left the windows/patio doors open in the evening to enjoy the caribbean breeze. Water pressure was quite finicky, but after a few days of playing with the taps we figured out how to get the showers to stay on- we left a faucet on with a tiny trickle of water and then turned on the shower. If we did not do this, the shower water would stop completely after about 2 minutes and take 5 minutes to come back. Microwave was broken and never got replaced despite multiple asks. Lots of free bottled water. Was it perfect? No, but the staff were friendly, the unit was modern, clean & secure, and hey- its 5 minutes to an amazing beach. What more could you ask for :)

A nice quiet place with several swimming pools in the heart of tourist area, perfect for families, a plenty of restaurants, shops and grocery stores around, 10 minute walk distance to the sea, security agent present 24/7

This property does have potential, but unfortunately, my family and I had a very stressful and disappointing experience. Before check-in, I was informed that a deposit would be held, which I was fine with. However, I was repeatedly asked to enter my credit card information into an invoice that showed the full amount—not just the deposit. After going back and forth, we finally agreed I’d handle it in person. In the end, they didn’t charge the deposit, which I appreciated, but the process was far more stressful than it needed to be. When we arrived, we encountered several issues: • The patio doors wouldn’t lock • The mini pool (piscicuzzi) was dirty • Towels provided were not clean Communication was inconsistent, and I found myself having to reach out to two different contacts to address these issues. It took days for things to get resolved, and I spent too much of my vacation waiting around for someone to show up. The worst part was the apartment flooding during the last three days of our stay. I had to mop several times a day just so we could walk without stepping in water. My kids slipped more than once, and we had to elevate all of our belongings to keep them from being damaged overnight. Maintenance came out the first two days, but despite being told a plumber would be sent, no one ever showed up. To top it off, despite all of this, Expedia has been unable to secure a refund on our behalf. I would not recommend this property based on our experience!

Newer property in perfect location just steps from the beach and restaurants. Building staff were super friendly and accommodating. It’s next to a resort so it’s a little noisy at times but that wasn’t the case for us since we enjoyed the music from our rooftop pacuzzi. The pool and yard was clean. There’s a gas grill at pool area and on our rooftop condo. Electric bill is added to your stay at the end but they show you your meter readings at beginning and end. Would highly recommend. I reached out to the property. They said they would send someone out they never sent anyone requested for a refund. They denied my refund. The barbecue pit was rusty and dirty. Could not use it. The pool had green water in it. very nasty could not use it.

What I love: Jhonny Luis, the Concierge. The communication is excellent after we arrive the next day. And when certain equipment brakes in the property, he will make sure he communicates with the team and get it done son. What I do not like: The property itself was not maintained well compares what it shows on the picture. 1. Kitchen Faucet Leaking – The faucet is broken: when turned on, water pours out from both the top and bottom at the same time. 2. Water Leaks During Rain – On rainy days, water seeped through the front glass door. We had to use towels to stop the flooding from getting inside. 3. Poor Cleaning Before Check-In – The place was not cleaned properly before our arrival. There was hair in the drawers, stains on the bedsheets that wouldn’t come out, and some kitchen items even had mold on them. 4. Broken Facilities – Many things didn’t work. We had no hot water for the entire week, no working toilet at first, and even the living room had no lightbulbs installed. We had to ask someone to come and fix things during our stay. 5. Expensive Electricity – If you’re sensitive to heat and need air conditioning, be aware that electricity is very expensive. 6.Ant Problem – The kitchen had a serious ant issue, especially around the cooking area. Even after cleaning and storing everything in the fridge, ants kept coming back. We recommend bringing ant traps from home. 7.Far from Stores – The location is very far from any supermarket. Better taxi or rent a car.

Warning – hidden charges and no answers! Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this apartment. After our stay, unexpected charges were deducted from our account without any clear explanation, and to this day, no one has responded to our last message. We still have no idea what we were charged for, and even worse – we were suddenly asked to pay over 150 EUR for electricity for less than a week. We are aware that electricity costs in the Dominican Republic are high, but there was no transparency in the booking or during the stay to explain how this amount was calculated – especially since we were barely at home during the day. Additionally, $120 was deducted from our deposit with no breakdown or communication about why. Repeated questions went unanswered. And that’s not all. What were dismissed as “minor inconveniences” actually impacted our stay significantly: • All bed linens and towels smelled heavily of chemicals and were still in their original packaging. We had to wash them ourselves. • The entire kitchen setup was dusty and unusable, and we had to clean every single item before using it. • No support for reported issues: When we reported a problem with the water pump, we received no response, so we had to deal with everything ourselves. • The TV was not set up and couldn’t be used at all. • Massive construction noise from the building itself, sometimes after 10 PM, made it impossible to relax – especially in the shared pool area and even on our own balcony with a p

The property has potencial but no one came to fix a bed that was broken in one room so I was unable to use one of the rooms, the washing machine was filthy and the cleaning lady said was not her job, and the couches dusty, my sister had an allergic reaction, the pool was green and not one person in this property or Expedia took responsibility and gave me a refund at least a partial refund. Expedia cleaned their hands by stating that they have to wait for the owner to respond and the owner dared send me an electricity bill which I hope Expedia will cover since they take no responsibility other than offer 100 points from a value of more than $1,000 booking. This took place the week of June 5th and still nothing is resolved.

I had one problem we had to pay for the usage amount of light you use. I believe that was one of the reason i would not stay there again. I leave home to come and pay someone light bill. no way!

The apartment was clean and staff was incredible helpful and kind. I would have love to see recycling options. Overall this place was well managed, clean and safe. A downside is that when it rains the surrendered areas become flooded and smelly.

Tv would not work. Master room sink did not work, coffe maker didn't work.

A Nightmare Stay in Punta Cana – Avoid This Property! Our vacation in Punta Cana was ruined by the unprofessionalism and incompetence of the property management. We arrived on December 23rd at 3 AM, after informing the property management days in advance of our late arrival. They provided us with an access code, but it didn’t work. I called and messaged the property manager and even reached out to Expedia’s customer support, but no one responded. Imagine being stranded in a foreign country, late at night, with two exhausted children. My kids were so tired that they lay down on the floor while I desperately tried to contact someone. The security staff also tried to help by calling the property manager, but it was all in vain. After two hours of frustration and failed attempts, we had no choice but to find a hotel for the night. The next morning, I finally reached the property manager. He arrived at 9 AM, confirmed the code didn’t work, and offered no apology. Instead, he rudely told us we could leave if we didn’t like the situation. This was the last thing we needed to hear after a sleepless night and such a distressing start to our trip. The problems didn’t end there: Internet: There was no internet initially, and even when it was finally set up, it was painfully slow and unreliable. Facilities: The kitchen exhaust fan was broken, the shower in the master bedroom didn’t drain, and exposed electrical outlets posed a serious safety hazard for children. Air Conditioning: T

Several decent restaurants close by with prices a tad under US prices. The property management, especially Alberto are great. Punta Cana became somewhat of a tourist trap. If you want to see anything of the DR, you must get a rental car and drive. A mere 20 miles and you are in a different world.

The 3 bedroom apartment with a dip pool was located on the second floor and set back from the road, making it really nice a quiet at night. Fans and AC made the space comfortable at night and during the day we loved having all the sliding doors fully open , opening up the apartment and patio as one big space. One of the doors had a locking issue which was immediately addressed and fixed by the building manager. This was one of the best places I have stayed while traveling to a hot country!

The appartments are new, however, nothing was working! There was a safe which hadn't been installed and when asked to install, it still wasn’t done properly. The AC isn't cold enough and just doesn’t work properly. There is a rancid smell in the building, which didn't seem to go away during our entire stay. Be careful, as they charge you for electricity use, which was extortionate! The bed frame broke a couple of days in, so we had no use of the bed for the day! The rooms are not cleaned unless you request it for an additional charge. The cutlery was dirty and stained, the small pool on our balcony was also dirty. They took money out of our deposit for a "stain" on the bed, claiming it was our fault, which is funny, as we took photos of EVERYTHING before our departure, including the bed and there was no stain! They are scammers, will do anything for money! There are so many wonderful hotels in the area, I'd advise paying a little extra for peace of mind - this place was not worth the money or hassle. There will be 20 of us going back to DR next year and we were hoping to stay here, but we wouldn’t dare, even if the price was halved!!! Can *Definitely* say we won't ever be booking Beach Homes Punta Cana!!

ARNAQUE. Notre hôte nous a envoyé un message le jour J alors qu'on avait réservé 6 mois avant pour dire qu'il y avait une erreur sur le prix. J'étais surpris quand a 21h on me dit que j'aurai pas accès à mon logement cette nuit si je ne règle pas 100€ de plus sur un site inconnu. Une fois refusé, on me dit "ok" mais je passe demain pour que vous régliez des frais d'électricité... Après mon second refus, on me donne le numéro de la chambre. J'ai finalement réservé dans un autre hôtel par peur de me faire racketter le lendemain.

We used whats app to communicate & they were very responsive. Day 1 Transfer info was not clear. We had a different driver then stated & no specific instructions of where they would be or which company used. We found them after 40 mins. Drive went well except they expected payment which we had already paid for. (Use a Taxi it would have been $15 cheaper) Code to room was provided no issues. Condo was as expected. Kitchen had most things except kitchen towels or paper towel & no coffee maker. The safe was not available for renters as stated in the description. We requested a coffee maker & it arrived by 1230pm the next day with old coffee grinds in it. Day 2 Took Uber to Jumbo for large grocery shop cost $12 CND which was great. Shopped locally afterwards at Ciccolella was awesome. When we asked about the free beach club mentioned they shared--Beach club was not free & we needed to make a food or drink purchase to access which was fine but the info should have been clear in the description. Day 3 Requested toiletpaper. They indicated only 1 roll was provided for the 10 days we were there which again was fine but this should have been made clear. Day 4 Requested water for the next day. Day 5 No water Day 6 Water arrived thankfully we had enough. Day 7 Only 1 POOL was useable. No contact needed until when I took a photo of hydro meter to pay for electricity on the last day. Overall good stay. Very walkable. Only complaint nearby construction & the pillows on bed were awful.

Since the day of Check-in, we have been experiencing issues with the unit. In many occasions, there is either no water at all or low pressure water inside the unit. In many occasions, there is no electricity inside the unit. We spent an entire night without water and when we contact management, nobody responded until the next day. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone until the company improves their customer service (communication) skills and get their stuffs together.

My husband and I stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment on the first level, pool right outside our patio. Quiet clean place mins from the beach, market and plenty of restaurants. Comes equipped with washer & dryer, cookware & dinnerware. I must say we could have used a coffee pot or tea kettle (the pot they had was no good). Nicely furnished, great air (mainly used @ bedtime). Electric is separate cost at end of stay, we were out most of the stay, so we didn't use much. Weather was great, it did rain at night which cause some flooding (not at the property) which brought a ton of mosquitos so bring some OFF. Daniel was quick to respond, although there wasn't much to contact him about. Oh, the shower drains a bit slow but considering all of the floods in the surrounding area I didn't complain. Overall, for the price I'd definitely stay here again, and I'd bring my family to stay in some of the larger units. Thank you, Daniel!

We loved our stay here. It was literally a few blocks from the beach where they had water activities, beach side dining and more. Locals are very friendly and accommodating. You’re able to book excursions from locals right downstairs. Pick up for most excursions was in front of this property. The property is as seen on the pics but there are areas that are still under construction and the balcony pool is tiny. We thought it was a jacuzzi. Overall I would stay here again.

This was a newly built condo right in the center of town so you can easily walk to the beach and the small grocery store and restaurants. I felt safe here as there’s a guard tending to the entrance. I also felt safe walking around the town although I never went out after dark. They provide you with a little shampoo, conditioner, body wash, one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, and they don’t provide more than that so you’ll need to go to the store right down the road for more to, conditioner, and paper towels as they didn’t have any of those. I had a really hard time getting anyone to communicate with me after I booked the place which caused great anxiety. They send you an email the day before you fly out telling you how to get in, but there’s no guidebook or anything like that. You’ll want to sget whattsapp as that’s how you communicate with them once you’re checked in to the place. They get back to you but not always right away. The place was very nice and I’m glad we stayed there vs an all-inclusive, but they really need to do a better job communicating before you arrive so you feel more comfortable.

The condo had plenty of space to accommodate my family of four (2 adults and 2 teens) in its two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. The property manager greeted us when we arrived to go over what we needed to know about the space, and was very responsive through WhatsApp during our stay whenever questions came up. We were provided with a 5-gallon jug of water necessary for drinking and cooking. The building has a 24-hour security guard outside the building, however the front gate didn't lock. Because we were so close to other rentals, resorts and bars, it did get rather loud some nights from the music being played. The swimming pool was large enough to enjoy a refreshing dip, while not feeling cramped. Our private outdoor space was nice as well. It was a 3-minute walk to the beach (although due to the Sargassum issue in the area we did not enjoy the ocean). We did however have access to a beach club with lounge chairs-Huracan. There was a convenience market about a block away for all of your essentials and snacks. We loved the culinary scene in the neighborhood, and had many memorable meals eating an amazing variety of food. Check out Wowzer Brunch & Restaurant, La Bruja, La Casita De Yeya, L’aceretta and Castaways Bistro. They are all within the neighborhood which was safe and friendly. I'm glad we took a chance and stayed here. It was far from perfect, but we felt part of the community, a nice alternative to the cookie cutter resorts.

A nice quiet place with several swimming pools in the heart of tourist area, perfect for families, a plenty of restaurants, shops and grocery stores around, 10 minute walk distance to the sea, security agent present 24/7

Newer property in perfect location just steps from the beach and restaurants. Building staff were super friendly and accommodating. It’s next to a resort so it’s a little noisy at times but that wasn’t the case for us since we enjoyed the music from our rooftop pacuzzi. The pool and yard was clean. There’s a gas grill at pool area and on our rooftop condo. Electric bill is added to your stay at the end but they show you your meter readings at beginning and end. Would highly recommend.
