Always a great staff and timely shuttle

Extended parking at a reasonable rate, to go breakfast for those leaving prior to breakfast buffet, and 24-hour shuttle service to airport and restaurants.

Comfortable bed. Clean room. Good shower. Guest laundry is one washer and one dryer, and they only take credit cards.

The pool area was a mess and not enough pool towels. The HOT tub, was a bath tub for one. There was also ONLY ONE waffle machine and a 30 minute wait for a waffle. BUY another waffle machine please.

Room was clean and much bigger than usual, which was nice! The only downside and reason it’s not five stars is the reckless shuttle driver who ran a very long red light hanging a high speed left across traffic to get into the hotel area off US 50. It was extra reckless given that we had an infant with us and there was no way to secure an infant in the shuttle.

The pool and small hot tub were enjoyable and the breakfast was great!

This is a decent place to stay for a quick overnight layover but the property is quite dated and the carpet in our room was stained and old. The staff were wonderful, the 24 hour availability of the shuttle was imperative since we needed to be at the airport before 5am and most other properties only had shuttles after 5, 6, or even 7am.

Staff from top to bottom were outstanding! The shuttle service to and from the airport/metro was so nice. We didn’t need a car at all. They took us to dinner spots. Alberto was so friendly. Nick had a smile and a cheery hello when we get back from our outings. We will stay here again!

I enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn Suites Dulles. The service was great & I especially enjoyed the fresh baked cookies. The building exterior/interior are a little dated, but the rooms are well equipped, the TV is a good size & has some premium channels, & the beds are comfortable. The gym and pool area are also nice, and they have a nice breakfast area with plenty of seating. They also have a good breakfast selection, with a little bit of everything, I was pleasantly surprised to see scones offered for breakfast, among several other treats.

The room was clean. Front desk staff was nice at check in and check out, we didn’t really need to talk with staff much during our stay, only to request more towels. The beds were not very comfortable. The breakfast options were great! I think they had something for everyone. Coffee, milk, juice, fruits, yogurt, milk, cereal, oatmeal, scones, bagels, bread for toast or sandwich if you wanted, you can make a fresh waffle, eggs, sausage…. And I’m sure more that I missed.

This is an older hotel, the rooms are okay, cheap linens, nothing special. But they are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, from cleaning staff to late night front desk.

Checkin Staff was great. Breakfast was excellent. Shower curtain had grease or dried blood on it. Probably doesn't normally get inspected or washed between visits.

Staff was courteous and friendly! Rooms need an update - tv and bathroom are good. Bed needs to be replaced - noisy every time you rolled over. Breakfast was adequate - not bad / not great Convenient location and shuttle to and from the airport a plus!

Bed was comfortable, room was clean and quiet and my room was near the elevator. The room and bathroom were great especially for the price point. The included breakfast however was barely edible in my opinion. Other than the very lackluster food offerings, it was a nice stay.

Everything in the pictures looked bigger than in real life. The rooms are small, the pool is tiny, the hot tub is two people max. It wasn't bad, but there are cheaper hotels with better amenities in the area

You can count on Hampton Inns being quite good usually. The heating/cooling system in the room I had in this case had a very high-pitched hum that you don't notice that much when you first enter the room and have the TV on, but when you try to go to sleep, it was just loud enough to be annoying. Could not figure out a way to turn it off. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting by staff -- don't know if other rooms are the same.

The bed was horrible, and we had to catch a plane the next morning feeling like a stiff board!

Hotel was extremely helpful and accommodating on whatever you needed. The staff was one of the best of any hotel I have ever experienced. Special shout out to Jonesy and Bobby! Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The front desk agents were wonderful, especially Jeseka Karas. It's because of her wonderful customer service and helpful attitude that our trip to DC was perfect. The free shuttle service to the airport, local restaurants, and Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Center was incredibly convenient. Our drivers, Alberto and Francois, were also wonderful, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend staying at This Hampton Inn.

The waffles were amazing! REALLY appreciated the front desk's help with a food order that arrived before we did!

My flight was delayed, from there I still had to get my rental car and find the hotel. I ended up checking in around 1:45 am. The front desk clerk informed me that she should just cancel my room due to not checking in before midnight. I informed her that my flight didn\'t even land until 12:30 am. She kept telling me she could cancel it, but she\'d let me have the room. She also told me "our doors lock at 8. I\'m here for the next 3 nights, and if you don\'t have your key, I won\'t let you in." She was also nice in other infractions, so maybe she was just having a bad night. The hallway to our room smelled like cat urine. Our room was fairly clean and smell free. It was a little outdated. We kept finding water on the floor in the mornings by the bathroom. I think the toilet or sink was leaking

Property was great. Clean, great location and staff was very welcoming. Ms. Beverly Johnson was a delight to see at the end of our long days out. She added to our great experience there.

Nice and quiet, great location. Close to airport, friendly staff.

Although near Dulles airport, the sound of the jets taking off was barely noticeable. The room was quiet. The nearest restaurant is 9 minutes walking on a sidewalk alongside a highway. Someone mentioned the Expo center was within walking distance. It's 52 minutes (2.3 miles) away, so it's not someplace you want to walk to, especially with the highway traffic. The location isn't ideal, but the view of the woods around the hotel was pleasant.

I used to live in suburban MD, outside Washington, DC. Upon retirement, I moved to DE. I visit "The DMV" and Baltimore often, to see longtime friends, attend sports, eat ethnic cuisines, and for much tourism in two cool metro areas. I use Hotels.com often. When booking my travel, I (understandably) see more expensive rates closer in to downtown. While I can usually find "deals," I check places further out. I have frequently stayed at Linthicum Heights hotels by Marshall BWI Airport. Hotels that cater to airport traffic, but only a 15-minute drive into Baltimore. Good value. As for DC, lately I have been using hotels near Dulles International Airport. Yes, these are further out, but well connected by Northern Virginia's extensive highways. Arlington, NW Washington are 30-45 minutes away. I have found hotel deals near Dulles, in Herndon, Sterling, or Chantilly. Often "fully refundable" when booking, with comfy rooms, free breakfast and parking. My recent stay at Hampton Inn Washington-Dulles fit this bill. Great rate for highly-rated hotel. Comfy room. Tasty breakfast. Near IAD, Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Annex, and hotel offers shuttle to both. Lots of good restaurants close by. Other tourism attractions nearby, like VA wine country, Civil War sites. Staff was courteous, helpful. Night reception Rebecca assisted when I called re: late arrival. Jessica cheerfully checked me in when I got there, and Kyle gave mobility-challenged me extra time on departure. Thank You!

Very good location for post or pre flight from Dulles. Comfortable bed, and nice restaurants are both walkable and a short drive.

Beverly who checked us in was great. We arrived after 11pm and she was very busy but super lovely. Room was good but the heater/aircon unit was a bit noisy. Also, the number of bright lights in the room when all the other lights were turned off…! We covered the, all up. Breakfast was nothing special (very few healthy options) but the staff were all lovely and efficient. They kept the area clean and topped up. Overall I would use again as an airport hotel. Great value

In my opinion the breakfast was not up to the Hampton Inn standards. House keeping was good.

The shuttle does not run continuously so we called and ask for a pickup.. would minutes later we called again and they said they would now send a van. One hour in the cold and we were picked up by a very pit oit driver who literally did not say one word even as he dumped out our luggage.. no concern at all. When I tried to find out why the first call was not responded to the girl had no answers until her coheart jumped in with a story of the driver taking care of another guest… clearly lying as the timing did not match at all. The facility was dirty and smelled of animals. The breakfast was ok but there was no coffee available for over one hour. Don’t even think about staying here!
