Yesterday I arrived at the hotel and I didn’t like anything I saw. The hallways smelled bad, the pool was dirty — it even had pieces of wood in it, and all the debris was settled at the bottom.

Overall a great place that I'd recommend. The shower pressure, although water hot, was really low. Room clean and very functional. The bar was not open the first night there of 4 night stay. Was told it was because a bartender was not available? When the the bar was open it was a very convenient place to use before retiring for the evening.

The outside pool area was awful, the pool and hot tub wa nasty and had smoking right there when you walk to the pool and hot tub. the hot tub had teeth flossers in the pool with trash, went to the restaurant on site and asked if we could have a flat bread with chicken on it and the bar tender told us no because the cooks can't speak English, although there is flatbread on the menu. We ordered out.

I've stayed here several times, and it has always been a good choice. It is very convenient to get to the highway, shopping, restaurants, etc. The hotel itself is very clean, and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Call it bad luck (which it probably was), but my room was quite dirty. There was bits of chips down the side of my bed, at the base of the bed, and a few bugs around the bedside table. The chap at front desk moved me rooms - he was super nice. Wouldn’t be in a rush to stay there again, but I do enjoy Holiday Inn’s.

Theres was a cockroach in my bed. I felt it while sleeping. The drawers next to my bed also had cockroach shreds. The room also had a weird odor. Definitely not a great experience.

This is the third time and the last time I will stay at this hotel. The hotel is in need of a major upgrade. We had two rooms. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed at that didn’t even supply cups in either room. There was not coffee maker in either room. The shower was awful. The water pressure was nearly non existent. The door to the bathroom was so warped that it couldn’t be closed completely. The floor outside the bathroom was wet under the carpet. I have been in many hotel rooms over the years and this by far was the worst.

Everything about the hotel was OK except the noise from the near by high way, woke up at 6 am from the noise and couldn't go back to sleep, the noise is extremely loud in the rooms facing the high way.

Reserved a room for Friday & Saturday. Showed up early morning Saturday because our journey took a little longer then expected and we were ready to go to bed. Was told our reservation was cancelled because we didn't call to let them know we would be arriving late. So they cancelled our hotel and were sold out. Terrible customer service, the lady at the desk looked at me like I was an idiot and asked why I didn't call. If you are going to cancel my reservation maybe a heads up call saying, "hey are you still coming?" Thanks for nothing. Left us scrambling at 8 am in the morning in Jacksonville after driving 6 hours overnight. Will probably NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn. Customer service was awful. No help just maybe you can get a room at 3 PM. No thanks! Stayed at the Embassy Suites down the road. Great customer service!

Our first night at this hotel was extremely unpleasant. Around 11:30 PM, while my husband and I were resting in our room, someone tried to open our door. Thankfully, I always make sure to lock the door, but the fear I felt at that moment was indescribable. My husband immediately called the front desk, and they told him that due to a system error, our room had been mistakenly assigned to someone else. This is completely unacceptable. A mistake like this not only disrupts a guest’s stay but also creates a serious security issue. We expected a relaxing and safe stay, but instead, we were left feeling unsettled and disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free experience.

I had a five night stay and no garbage was removed. I had bags of garbage just sitting in my room for 5 days. And we (2person in room)were given 3 towels for 5 days. I was forced to the check in desk to ask for additional towels. This was very inconvenient for us. .

I arrived in Jacksonville on a Monday for a work event and went directly to the Holiday Inn hotel. The receptionist was very polite. I had never seen a person as polite as this reception guy . Although I know it’s of no fault of their’s, I left something behind in one of the drawers in the bathroom. When I realized and called them about it to ask if anything was found, I was told I would be called back the next day. I never received a call back. It’s disappointing.

The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. Plenty of parking. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood yet very close to grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants. Also close to downtown and the beach (about 15-20 min to get to both). Lots of dining options and things to do nearby. The staff at the hotel were both nice and accommodating. Very professional. Highly recommend! Will be staying there again the next time I go to Jacksonville!

Lobby was very pleasant and clean. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Was a one night stay so did not experience much. We did eat at the restaurant in the hotel. Got burger and a couple of sides all was very good. Needed to be at MAYO Clinic at 7:15a.m.. only 10 to 15 minutes away. Would stay there again. Great for the price.

This stay was a spur of the moment necessity/ For the price it just was not worth it. The breakfast was extra and we paid for it just not to be offered it in the morning. The beds were awful. My back, my hips and my knees were in terrible pain. I did not sleep at all. It was a horrible value. I will say that the Burgers and Brews Restaurant was exceptional. I highly rrecommenf the Farmhouse Burger with a side of tots. This was the only good thing about our stay.

The room was a good size and was clean. The bed however was like a rock. The comforters and pillows were plush though. We opted to spend the extra and buy the breakfast buffet in the morning but I guess because of Thanksgiving holidays there was no buffet and the “biscuits” they offered that were microwaved were disgusting unfortunately. On our last day they finally had the “buffet” but I wouldn’t opt to pay the extra for it. Overall we would stay here again.

This property was hidden away in a very dense neighbor and neighboring I-295 with very busy traffic. The road noise was very loud and the toilet had a handle was almost completely broken off and the sink had multiply cracks in it.There was no buffet offered during the week but only on weekends. I was able to get my $15.00 refund for prepay of what I thought was a buffet and only later found out to be a breakfast sandwich under a heat lamp.

I really looked forward for the breakfast. I was truly disappointed. The French toast was hard and cold, the eggs were cold, the sausages were not throughly cooked. We had to let the staff know there no more food on the line to serve us. The breakfast was horrible. The front desk did an awesome job! They were very courteous and attentive.

Went to bar for burger and a drink the server was extremely RUDE burger was undercooked and the martini was horrible And the server made me feel like it was my fault. on top of that upon returning home only to find they charged me for an additional night stay which was there error. This is a great place to stay. I have been going to the Mayo Clinic, so I stay here each time. There's a pool, jacuzzi, restaurant with a bar. It's also close to restaurants, and shopping. I always visit St. Mary's when I go for their fresh seafood. I highly recommend this hotel.
