The resort is quiet, not crowded. Alvi, the concierge was very helpful and attentive. The young lady that worked at the pool side yard was friendly and attentive to the all the customers. The young man 3:30pm Bingo games was funny and interactive. The food was ok. The breakfast was the same throughout our stay. Housekeeping would come at odd hours often times we were back from an excursion when the housekeeper would come to clean. We cancel the room cleaning several times as we were tired from being out in the sun all day and just wanted to relax. The internet was awful. We lost phone and internet connection for an entire day until the techs came to fix the problem but they too came after 6:00pm. There was no beach on site but they did provide a shuttle van that would take the customers to Juanillo beach. We went to Scape Park and that was really fun. Lastly, we were grateful for the late check out. I would rate this resort 8.

Needed updating bad. Staff was great. Paths in resort need to be lighted more to get around. I wanted more action around resort (more people). Buffet was ok other restaurant s were much better but only one open at a time along with buffet every night.

This was my 1st international trip. Was amazing. Overall I enjoyed EVERYONE. so helpful. Gonna break it up by pros & cons. Pros:1. BEAUTIFUL property 2. Great & friendly staff 3. Property overall tranquil & relaxing 4.Good food selection. 5. Each night buffet set up was NICE. 6.ROOMS were so clean..My villa nice 7. Staff cleaned everyday & refilled fridge & tidy up my room. Perfect job. On point. 8.Property felt safe to walk. 9. Wait staff went above & beyond. Made me special surprise for my birthday 10. Bed was TOO comfortable. 11. View of the property nice & great overall layout of the hotel. 12. Front desk were accommodating. Cons (very few) 1. Area to my villa not well lit dark on walking paths. 2. Some mold on properties buildings but not too bad. Its a HUMID country 3. Some just a few of staff didnt speak enough English to communicate. 4. Not alot of shops alot of empty spaces. 5. Rebranded from Sports illustrated Resort to TAN resort. Definitely worth getting the VIP. Our 2 bedroom villa was outstanding. The staff are fabulous. Pools and food were great. Service was top notch.

This is a beautiful resort that has great potential. But it was a bit eerie being there with very little guests there. For several days we had the entire pool to ourselves. It was weird. I went for my birthday and thought there would be more energy at the resort. But you can’t have energy if you don’t have people present. The staff did their best to keep us entertained. Rosie, the pool server, was great! All around we had great service. It was just surprising that the resort was so empty. I know that will change once they get more established. But for now, it’s a very quiet and serene place to visit.

Had to be bused to the beach which was not a great beach, but the food was better there. Food at resort was mediocre at best. The staff was friendly but only a few spoke English. Rooms were good bed was hard but got used to it. The smell from the marina was very stinky. Pool was good limited activities and pretty dead resort overall.

Not many guests were there and many restaurants were closed. Only one or two options are available and tough to stay for long. Beach was far, 10 minutes by bus, but it was nice. Staff were overall friendly. I wish it would be nicer if more guests stay there.

Nice rooms and walkable area. Good food. On flip side could not get good night sleep due to spring beds as every turn of my partner would wake me up. Also not adjacent to the beach and taking shuttle adds more stress about missing it and riding it through crazy traffic.

The property was nice. It was clean all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lewis the Butler was very understanding and communicative about our stay. The employees there accommodated us with everything that we needed. The view from our hotel was very nice every day the maid cleaned our room and restocked their fridge. I don’t have any complaints about staying here. Since this hotel is a part of the marina. There is a gated community that doesn’t allow anybody in unless they have a purpose or they’re staying there. I felt safe walking around at night. I would love to come here again and enjoy the time with my family. The beach is about 10 minutes away, and they do provide transport every hour if you don’t have a car. There are many food choices here as well. There’s a couple restaurants around the hotel that you can eat at and they do provide you with food they give you two choices every night to eat. Overall, our stay was fantastic and I would recommend anybody to stay here if they want something quiet and family oriented.

Was a over the top exoerience our concierge erik took care of our every needs for a large group of 11 range in age 5 to 75 .our housekeeper jhonny had our room look in pristine condition every day and her smile and kindness made us feel at home .would definetly rebook again

I love the design of the property. It gives you the Spanish feel!! Beautiful peaceful place. From the time I checked in I was greeted by Lewis and was upgraded to the most beautiful roof top villa. The private pool was a great touch! Alvi was the sweetest and made sure to book my spa appointment with Time Out spa, which is right on property! The Spa was awesome because Alissa made it relaxing and enjoyable! (might have her name wrong). I felt safe and everything was there for me right on property including a boat ride/snorkeling & swimming in the ocean. What I loved the most was how they keep to their culture on this resort- from food and style- Dominican night was phenomenal with great Dominican cuisines! Every night the food was delicious! The waiter, Yoscal and a few other young men gave amazing service and their attention to detail and service was 5 star! My only complaint would be I wish they didn’t have dogs on the property, some of the barking was annoying but the good news is the property is kept so clean. I will definitely return here and would recommend this place, specially to those looking to relax

One of the only things I didnt like was there was no direct access to a beach without relying on transport. I would have liked to take a walk to the beach and walk back to resort. Other than that, the staff was incredible. Very helpful and friendly. My room was incredibly with an impeccable view of the marina. Room was constantly cleaned and always smelled amazing. My bartenders were great, so also my servers at The Bullpen. Would definitely visit again. It was my first time in DR, and I know what to expect for next time.

What I loved the most was how they keep to their culture on this resort- from food and style- Dominican night was phenomenal with great Dominican cuisines! Every night the food was delicious! The waiter, Yoscal and a few other young men gave amazing service and their attention to detail and service was 5 star! My only complaint would be I wish they didn’t have dogs on the property, some of the barking was annoying but the good news is the property is kept so clean. I will definitely return here and would recommend this place, specially to those looking to relax

Nice rooms and walkable area. Good food. On flip side could not get good night sleep due to spring beds as every turn of my partner would wake me up. Also not adjacent to the beach and taking shuttle adds more stress about missing it and riding it through crazy traffic.

The property was nice. It was clean all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lewis the Butler was very understanding and communicative about our stay. The employees there accommodated us with everything that we needed. The view from our hotel was very nice every day the maid cleaned our room and restocked their fridge. I don’t have any complaints about staying here. Since this hotel is a part of the marina. There is a gated community that doesn’t allow anybody in unless they have a purpose or they’re staying there. I felt safe walking around at night. I would love to come here again and enjoy the time with my family. The beach is about 10 minutes away, and they do provide transport every hour if you don’t have a car. There are many food choices here as well. There’s a couple restaurants around the hotel that you can eat at and they do provide you with food they give you two choices every night to eat. Overall, our stay was fantastic and I would recommend anybody to stay here if they want something quiet and family oriented.

Check in process was a disaster, they gave us a room 3 hours later with no information. The manager was really rude and gave us a really bad first impression. Thankfully during the stay the staff from the restaurant/bar and another lady that works at the reception helped us a lot and were very friendly. Hotel is nice and quiet, but far from the main resorts.

First things first…..there were NO WASH CLOTHS my entire stay!! I asked over 3 times for wash cloths and never received them the entire time I was there. The operator doesnt answer the phone after a certain time. They advise that we use WhatsApp and they still weren’t responding. Since Our room was on the 5th floor and we could not walk to the lobby, we needed a cart to driv us back and forth. They never answered the lobby phone so one night we literally had to was stuck in the room with no food or anything. Just horrible. Alvi was our concierge and she was nice but things still wasn’t getting done. One thing I can say is, the beach was amazing !!! And I really enjoyed my massage at the spa. That’s about it. I won’t go back to this resort that’s for sure

I love the design of the property. It gives you the Spanish feel!! Beautiful peaceful place. From the time I checked in I was greeted by Lewis and was upgraded to the most beautiful roof top villa. The young man 3:30pm Bingo games was funny and interactive. The food was ok. The breakfast was the same throughout our stay. Housekeeping would come at odd hours often times we were back from an excursion when the housekeeper would come to clean. We cancel the room cleaning several times as we were tired from being out in the sun all day and just wanted to relax. The internet was awful. We lost phone and internet connection for an entire day until the techs came to fix the problem but they too came after 6:00pm. There was no beach on site but they did provide a shuttle van that would take the customers to Juanillo beach. We went to Scape Park and that was really fun. Lastly, we were grateful for the late check out. I would rate this resort 8.

One of the only things I didnt like was there was no direct access to a beach without relying on transport. I would have liked to take a walk to the beach and walk back to resort. Other than that, the staff was incredible. Very helpful and friendly. My room was incredibly with an impeccable view of the marina. Room was constantly cleaned and always smelled amazing. My bartenders were great, so also my servers at The Bullpen. Would definitely visit again. It was my first time in DR, and I know what to expect for next time.

This is a beautiful resort that has great potential. But it was a bit eerie being there with very little guests there. For several days we had the entire pool to ourselves. It was weird. I went for my birthday and thought there would be more energy at the resort. But you can’t have energy if you don’t have people present. The staff did their best to keep us entertained. Rosie, the pool server, was great! All around we had great service. It was just surprising that the resort was so empty. I know that will change once they get more established. But for now, it’s a very quiet and serene place to visit.

Not many guests were there and many restaurants were closed. Only one or two options are available and tough to stay for long. Beach was far, 10 minutes by bus, but it was nice. Staff were overall friendly. I wish it would be nicer if more guests stay there.

Beautiful property with amazing condos, but it is kind of misleading, calling it an all inclusive. It is clearly a condo development that is transitioning into an all inclusive,. There are several restaurants throughout the property, but only the buffet and an outdoor dining area by the pool with a rotating menu are included as food. We did not mind at all though, because we got a great deal on the room and the restaurants we tried were amazing. The buffet was great every morning and we had it once at dinner and it was awesome. STAFF EAS TOP LEVEL!! Front Desk- Neury was extremely helpful every day! Jhoan, Natanael & Edwin were also very professional & courteous Bartenders- Felix & Maria were amazing at pool bar Alfredo & Duracell were both always helpful I am professional. So if you have an open mind, and you get a good rate per night, so you can try a couple of the restaurants, I would highly recommend sports illustrated. I definitely want to come back in a year or two and see how it has progressed. I have a feeling it’s going to be something extremely special in the Cap Cana area !!!

Had to be bused to the beach which was not a great beach, but the food was better there. Food at resort was mediocre at best. The staff was friendly but only a few spoke English. Rooms were good bed was hard but got used to it. The smell from the marina was very stinky. Pool was good limited activities and pretty dead resort overall.
