Motel 6-Middleburg Heights, OH - Cleveland

Property was being renovated, but room smelled of smoke. Microwave was dirty. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Sheets looked cleaned but soiled and stained. Floor had not been washed recently.

Remodeled room

Property was rundown. Beds and blankets need replaced. Little to no vending selection

The place was in shambles no linens on the bed booked a room with a refrigerator and microwave had to change rooms first one had no fridge and the second one had no linens was give a set of sheets and NO BLANKETS had to purchase my own for the 4 day stay the room was NOT CLEAN i was told there was a tornado that came thru and they were cleaning up well that's exactly what it looked like the microwave waa so dirty that i couldn't even clean it gross i ahd to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the tub sink toilet and definitely the floor that looked like someone tracked mud thru also wiped down the bed and head board! I used to always stay there was comfortable and clean but this time it was super questionable not a safe or comfortable setting if i hadn't booked on line 2 weeks earler and it wasnt 11pm when i finaly checked in i would have DEFINITELY canceled my reservation!!! Super disappointed and I will not be back or recommend your hotel thanks for your accommodation.

Hotel was great they put us in new remodel rooms love that hotel will come back again.

This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever seen, it was totally under construction, my pre-paid check in was supposed to be at 3:00, I arrived at 4:30 nobody was in the check in counter they were sitting outside in there car they told me my room wouldn’t be ready for 20 minutes because they were short staffed, they switched my room & as I drove over to it I was being watched by a young man observing me in the parking lot, I walked into the dark smelly room with wet tile floors, the door didn’t close properly & was afraid of being attacked so I went back to my car & left to find another hotel, I can’t believe Expedia would allow anyone to book a room at this hotel & I am going to plan on contacting American Express for a full refund

The beds were comfortable and clean. I would not step foot into the bathtub and they repaired the wall with duct tape. They need to update the bathroom. Also the stairs and walkways leading need a lot of work.

Great clean nice formal newly renovated rooms

Staff was really great and helped us switch rooms quickly to an accessible room when we needed it. Looks like the property is undergoing a lot of renovation as it is needed. But rooms were clean and spacious. The beds could also use an update as well.

No ice was available and no chair in the room.

Checked in, went to my room and when I went into the bathroom and found it dirty with nasty towels crud on the floor and on the toilet. I was tired and cleaned the floor and toilet so I could shower and get some sleep. Told the worker at the desk upon check out.

Sink was clogged, sheets on one bed were dirty. Bath tub was stained badly... WiFi was spotty at best.

Mold in shower

The room was gross!! I had to clean it myself the surfaces were nasty and there was hair in the shower!!!

Smoke free room smelled strong cigarettes. Said something to the front desk after check-in and continued to say something during my visit.

I was greeted with the sweetest receptionist. She was kind and had amazing customer service. Our room was clean and smelled fresh when we arrived.

No complaint room is great and clean

Was fine but the heater/ AC unit didn't work. I didn't need it but it was broken.

TV was too small and too dark.

It's been fine but the beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. But it gives you somewhere to crash during travels.

Remodeled room

i could not sleep on the second night, there were some people making a porn video (literally) in the room next to mine. could not sleep, it went on most of the night. i will not use this motel again.

Burn holes on bed cover, ac dud not work, most of the lights were broke, no fridge, had to go to office they put me in a different room and still had a bad experience

The night guy literally got annoyed that I didn't come in to check in right away because his girl was waiting in the parking lot and I was on a phone call. rooms are spacious and cleaned up. TV remotes are often without battery power.

Comfortable bed and hot shower

The room was fine. But I am handicapped and they had no rooms on the bottom floor. Also there was people talking and going up and down the stairs right outside our door and had my mom and I up all night. We could not sleep

This is a terrible property. Run down and not clean. Has booked for two nights and asked for refund for the second night. The front desk guy kept putting me on speaker...so i could not hear him and acted like he was completely annoyed to have to answer the phone, he was most unhelpful.

We were there for about a week and a half the roads are extremely clean they remodeled and the staff there is absolutely wonderful especially Lisa and I don't remember the gentleman's name but he works in the evenings they were always helping us if we needed anything I would definitely recommend staying there if you are traveling through Ohio Middleburg Heights. The gentleman that works in the evenings definitely deserve a raise

There were a lot of people that looked like they were living in the hotel, and I read some thing about the city of Cleveland offering hotels as sheltered to homeless people. I’m not sure that was what was going on here, but everybody I saw outside their room liked to be hanging out outside their door, smoking, watching people in the parking lot, with their doors wide open. There was lots of talking loudly on the phone, with people standing or walking along the walkways outside of people’s rooms. The bathroom smelled like urine, I found some pretty long pubic hairs around the sink and toilet area, so it wasn’t the cleanest room I’ve ever been in. The desk staff behind the bulletproof glass window was very friendly and helpful. There were a good selection of restaurants nearby to go eat when you needed something immediately, and the location was really good for walking to the college, This is definitely a two star hotel, but you get what you pay for, as always. At least the people that work there are nice. The price of this hotel allowed me to stay, the duration that I needed to stay, and I never felt unsafe or threatened.

Bare bones. Works for the overnight stays. Area filled characters. Nothing happened, but felt alittle uneasy being a PNW-er visiting the area for the first time.
