The beach area for surfing and walking is a five-minute walk away, as is a restaurant we didn't try on this trip. Morning coffee or tea only (sugar and powdered creamer) provided by Motel6. Pets/dogs allowed. Two dogs per room, we had three small and medium sized dogs so we had to get two rooms. No dog fees.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was comfortable, if basic. Unfortunately the pool was closed which was disappointing. We had no problem getting around San Simeon by foot- everything was walkable, including an amazing sunset location just across the street from this Motel.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr sauber. Es gab in unserem Zimmer keine Mikrowelle, kein Kühlschrank und keine Kaffeemaschine, aber das wussten wir schon vorher. Falls notwendig habe ich eine Mikrowelle in der Lobby gesehen. Am Hotel gibt es ausreichend Parkplätze. Der Pool ist sehr schön. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett und rief sogar aufs Zimmer an um sich zu vergewissern, dass alles OK ist.

The property needs some attention. We booked this property because it had a pool but pool ours was limited and we didn’t get to use it at all. The bathroom sink water pressure was weak, the shower water pressure was good but it wasn’t draining. The restaurant on property was closed.The beach was the softest sandy beach and beautiful, easily accessible across the street from the hotel.

The online description says this Motel 6 has a restaurant and a pool. The restaurant closed in 2022 and the pool is permanently closed "for cleaning". Two ice machines are out of order and the room had no fridge or microwave. Not even any shampoo! As for breakfast, there is a pot of coffee in the lobby til 11:00. It is old, dirty and badly in need of remodeling. Avoid!

When we arrived there was no staff at the front desk and 2 other families were waiting to check in. We called the phone just rang.The other people said they were waiting for 10-15 minutes. We waited another 15 minutes before the staff showed up from another building. We explored the permanently closed and abandoned restaurant and bar off the lobby. There was no mention that the restaurant, bar were permanently closed when we booked the room. No amenities here.

It was a no frills hotel. But excellent cleanliness. No fancy furniture but beds very comfy and fresh scented. We requested a room with fridge and microwave. Room was large and all the amenities were good. Appreciate the cleanliness. Across the road from beach. Good location.

Woke up to a horrible smell and realized the bed was previously urinated on. Was not wet but after laying on it some time the smell came through.My clothes smelled so bad. Absolutely disgusting and will never stay here again. All they offered me was a switch to a new room. I had to contact Expedia to get a refund.

Had a 1 night stay. Staff was friendly. Went in my room once , then went to lunch and when I came back my key wouldn’t work. Had to take all my things back to my vehicle and go to the office. Guy redid them and said they’d work now. They didn’t. A staff member checking rooms came and opened my door. Didn’t take the chance of getting locked out again as I have knee issues and walking is difficult so I stayed in my room until check out. Room was nice and spacious but under beds was so dirty and dusty with some band aid tabs and even a rock. As someone allergic to dust it made for a long night. I’ve stayed here before and liked it.

The hotel itself was pleasant, the only drawback osnoutdated carpet in the halls. Inside the rooms was much better. There needs to be new flooring like laminate or vinyl flooring for the halls. There were some stains that gave a bad impression at first

Nicest Motel 6 I have ever been to. Staff was really friendly. Allowed late check out. Even showed me the microwave to warm up lunch in the lobby. Wifi worked well, room was clean.

I booked this because I just wanted a place to sleep and it was relatively inexpensive. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and friendly staff. My only disappointment was that there was no fridge or microwave. Other than that it was decent, not fancy but if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay near Cambria it fits the bill.

I usually love Motel 6. You know what to expect and great staff. This particular one was really run down with actual holes in the outside walls that were boarded over. The beds were ancient and uncomfortable, although the pillows were good. Not a great experience, but not the norm.

Gave us the most helpful information and asked if there anything in the room or didn’t like it he had one more room left and we could switch. We stayed for 2 nights. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the water heater so I complained. The management was so very helpful! They even refunded a good portion of our stay to make up for the problem. I appreciate their kindness and prompt attention.

The online description says this Motel 6 has a restaurant and a pool. The restaurant closed in 2022 and the pool is permanently closed "for cleaning". Two ice machines are out of order and the room had no fridge or microwave. Not even any shampoo! As for breakfast, there is a pot of coffee in the lobby til 11:00. It is old, dirty and badly in need of remodeling. Avoid!

When we arrived there was no staff at the front desk and 2 other families were waiting to check in. We called the phone just rang.The other people said they were waiting for 10-15 minutes. We waited another 15 minutes before the staff showed up from another building. We explored the permanently closed and abandoned restaurant and bar off the lobby. There was no mention that the restaurant, bar were permanently closed when we booked the room. No amenities here.
