To start off, we got there and the pool was "out of service". I approached the staff and was informed that the pool would be out all week/ weekend. This would have been nice to know when booking the room. I contacted hotels.com customer service, who called the hotel to try to get more info about the pool. The hotel staff informed the costumer service rep that the pool would be reopened that evening. What could have been so bad that the pool was closed for a week but then as soon as i request a refund, it's fixed? I decided it was best for me and my son not to swim in the pool. The breakfast was not good. The pancake maker was broken, there was hardly any eggs, sausage and zero bacon.

This is a budget hotel that is owned/staffed by folks that are working hard to provide a pleasant stay. Great breakfast room with drinkable coffee and lots of bacon/ sausage (and yogurt/hard boiled eggs for GF folks) and fun “conveyer belt” MTO pancake machine. Front desk was helpful. Pool grater or something like that was broken when we arrived on a Thursday for a Grand Park tournament but was then fixed surprisingly by Saturday. Water in bathrooms was not super hot but a decent shower was possible. Convenient area with McDonalds within walking distance and Walmart across the street. Be aware that lots of families stay here and you can hear noise from the hall in the room but we had no trouble sleeping well (excellent blackout shades). Lobby was under a bit of construction but entire hotel was very clean.

Property looked very nice. Very disappointed pool was not usable during our stay. This was one of the reasons we chose this location. Breakfast was good but no refrigerator was available. If you wanted milk or yogurt you had to ask. Pancake machine was broke down. This made for some disapointed grand kids. Room was nice but we had to use a sofa bed which we had to make up ourselves.

Room had water damage at one point and was repaired not really well. The pool did not have towels and was not clean. People left towels and garbage around the pool and it wasn't picked up. Not what I was expecting based on the location and cost.

There were clearly some issues with cleaning.. it appears the hotel may have gone through some type of upgrade, but more painting is needed and using the right color of the wall versus touching up scratches with a different paint would be better. The ice machine didn’t work and the water dispenser in the workout room did not work

The side door entrance was not secure all night. No card needed for entry and exit. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Very clean and quiet. When we went to check out in the morning, no one was at the desk for a good 10 minutes. So we left a note.

I am a traveling swimmer apart of the Michael Phelps Swim program and originally booked my stay based on the reviews of cleanliness and prime location for traveling, great customer service , rooms were clean , only issue is the pool was closed for 3 days … management and Hotels.com fixed the mistake and issued a refund , hotel staff was amazing , manager was amazing , room was clean , just a personal problem for me .

There was a nasty piece of candy stuck on the elevator floor all weekend so obviously the elevator is not being cleaned very well. When you look out the window on the roof was a nasty dirty paint brush which made for a pretty view. And the outside patio furniture was trashed. You couldnt even sit on it. Plus nothing in the shower room to put your clean towels on. So when you get out of the shower just pick your towel off the floor to dry off with it? Come on. Put something in that shower room for poeple to put their towels on.

The bathroom was barely clean, the shower itself was still dirty. The back of the bathroom door looked like it had water damage, but overall, it was okay. We only stayed 1 night. Because it was close to where my sons tournament was.

Room was nice other than the bathroom. Hair in shower drain and dirt in corners built up. Breakfast was horrible. They had no milk available, sausage was hard and dry and not a good selection of other choices. Eggs were watery also.

The parking lot was well lit, but they only installed cheap 1”mini-blinds so your whole room was bright while trying to sleep. Plus, the shower/bathtub would not drain well. The bathroom also needed a thorough cleaning.

Very noisy being very close to the stairs on the second floor and you can hear everything from next door (thin walls) and above. Had to turn on fan all night. Breakfast buffet was as you’d expect, nothing great and hot water not hot or working right. Scrambled eggs tasteless and cold crispy bacon. But convenient location and from check in clerk nice.

Maybe the best and friendliest check in ever. The rooms and the hotel its self were great. Breakfast is where the issues came up, the pancake machine was broken, which I get stuff happens, so I decided to get a bowl of cereal, no milk,I say something to the attendant, she said they were out and walked away. I decide I'll just get a glass of juice, the machine only gave concentrate. Again I ask the attendant, who shrugs and again walks away. So I go to the front desk and let them know everything, the let me know the oj is a known issue and usually theres water and they let you know, and then she runs to the store to milk, super easy. Room was chilly. Thermostat was set at 70 degrees and you could not set it higher! Temperature was in the single digits the first night of our stay. Other than that room was very clean and very roomy. The beds were excellent. Did not want to get out of them. Front desk lady was very helpful and professional.

Poor customer service, they just wanted you to get in get out so they could get back to whatever they were doing before you interrupted them. Breakfast was okay, definitely not worth the cost for just a little more we are going to stay somewhere else.

I would stay here every time. Jones at the front desk is literally THE BEST. We were here for my husband's surgery and he went out of his way multiple times to make sure that he was taken care of and that we were happy and comfortable. He definitely made this hotel stay the best we have ever had and one that I would recommend to everyone. The breakfast is also 🔥🔥🔥

This property canceled my entire reservation and did not let me know until we tried to check-in. Horrible situation!! They did not care I had no place to stay and offered no help in finding a new hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.. ever!! I can’t understand why Expedia will not accept this review.

I was traveling with my elderly mother who has Parkinson's and uses a walker. We requested a shower chair for her to use and they delivered a collapsable luggage rack. When we took it down to the desk to inquire we were told that is what they use. How is a handicapped person with balance issues supposed to balance on a few straps?

Staff was not the best. Short with comments and not openly friendly. No soap for bathroom sink and staff seemed irritated about having to find a bar of soap I felt the bed was comfy the second person found their bed uncomfortable. Bathroom fan needs dusted BAD.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Nice breakfasts and coffee. When we tried checking in, they either couldn’t figure out which rooms were available or they didn’t have any ready. After standing at desk while they talked on walkie talkies, we finally just went and sat down to wait. It took 15-20 minutes to get a room assigned.

Lady at front desk not very kid friendly. A bunch of us came for a kids soccer tourney. Employees have to expect some noise. We had a 2 night stay. They never came or asked about room cleaning. Breakfast wasn’t good.

stayed three nights and they didn’t clean the room once. Came back one night and the television was on. The shower does not get hot. It’s only lukewarm. Ran out of coffee and the free breakfast both days. Would not recommend to a friend with all the other options in the area

Bathroom needed some sheetrock and paint repair. The toilet sat REALLY low to the floor. Pancake machine was not working at breakfast. It took awhile to restock the bacon. I felt the attendant should have been more alert that it was getting low.
